This is advertised with a single $. A simple cut –off –everything haircut cost $ 17 here. Nothing exceptional. Might as well have gone to Great Clips or Super Cuts.

Holy smokes! I left with a giddy feeling in my tummy. Had I really just found a $ 12.95 ladies haircut that looks this good!!! Well, the haircut wasn’t perfect, but it was pretty good! My stylist, Gina was friendly and attentive. She spent about 40 minutes on my hair, including a shampoo, condition, cut and lite blow dry. The salon was exceptionally clean, it has a pleasant professional atmosphere. Though it is not«posh», for $ 12.95(plus tip), I don’t need it! I will be back for sure. Update(from 5 to 3 stars): I have been back for my second cut and I had a completely different experience this time. My stylist was not Gina :-(. You can’t make an appointment with a specific stylist here. They do walk ins only, so you get the stylist that has her chair open or is «next up». The lady I had this time was moody and not at all service oriented. She wasn’t friendly, she didn’t ask me any questions like«What kind of cut would you like?». She just started spraying water on my hair and I had to tell her that I wanted a *shampoo* and cut. She sort of grunted«get in the first chair» referring to the chairs by the sinks. She used cold water to wash my hair and didn’t ask the usual questions, «Is this too cold?». We got back to the chair and I described the cut I wanted and she started in. I tried to chat with her, but she was giving me one word replies so I gave up and let her do her thing. About half way through my cut, another client came in and decided she wanted to wait for my stylist rather than use the other one that was there. She seemed to be a regular and came to sit down in the chair next to mine and started chatting with my stylist. Ohhhh, now she was so friendly and animated(and *distracted*). Anyway, she finished cutting my hair, still chatting away with this other lady and she pulls off the cape and turns away to keep chatting with her pal, literally leaving me sitting there with dripping wet hair combed straight back. My head was freezing(the AC was really chilly in there) and I had to ask her to blow dry it a bit so it wasn’t dripping wet(lite blow drying is included in the price as is the shampoo she didn’t want to give me earlier). She again acted irritated, but obliged to about 90 seconds of blow drying and then promptly turned back to her friend. I then had to ask her for a mirror so I could see the cut from the back. She wordlessly hands it to me. The shape wasn’t right, I had asked for a soft V at the bottom and she gave me more of a flat bottomed U. Again, no reply from her, she just motions to get in the chair and she puts the cape back on and quickly trims the bottom a bit more. I have layers so I know her just trimming along the bottom without adjusting the layers to match isn’t going to give the right shape, but I have had enough of her so I accept it and go. Long story short, not all the stylists are as wonderful as Gina(who wasn’t there on my second trip). I might try this place again, but be careful! You might try to catch one of the clients that is leaving and ask them who is good before you go in.
