You have to pay 10 bucks to park and then you go in. it’s an awkward place in hollywood, between a(classy) strip mall and awe inspiring low rent hollywood apartments(sarcasm). Inside, there is a pole, *sigh — stripper poles are normally extremely appealing but, in this case, there isn’t even being used by anyone, not even a drunkin hoe. DAM. so much potential for self humiliation and you tube videos. anyhoo, the place is long and narrow and it’s just not what I want in a place. I don’t like feeling closed in. THANK goodness for the outside smoking patio. You can tell this place is struggling. it shows. the desperation stinks the place up. it’s not the worst place ever, not the best either. so there it is.

I went here twice. 1st one was for a promoted night and the second time was for a birthday party with some local house djs. The venue is small and quaint and has 1 stripper pole in the corner if you wanna go your stripper desires on. Bar drinks were OK. Price was kinda high for a «bar.» My goose was a bit watered down. The outside bartender didn’t know how to make a Sex on the Beach. How is that possible? Come here if there’s no cover and you got a gang of friends with you to make the night. Parking is a bit hard to find(you can park on the same corner lot that people who go to Shag park at but try to find street parking. in case you walk in and immediately walk out). Place has potential though. I give it that.

I wish I could give out 0 stars. Really. I don’t think i’ve been this dissapointed in quite sometime. I came out on a Friday to watch some friends DJ’s for a genre/night that is usually really underground and low key. Sorry guys, but BADCHOICE on the venue this time around. After driving for 15 minutes looking for parking I ended up dropping $ 10 on valet. Okay, that’s fine, it’s Hollywood, I understand. I walk inside and am greeted by a stripper pole and a dim lit, cool atmosphere. Excitement is growing. Go to the patio, even cooler! There’s a projector and everything. I order a drink and it all goes downhill. Talking to the bartender I order my usual gin and cranberry and for $ 9 I get a glass of ice with a little bit of cranberry and a dash of gin. Good thing I drank a fifth of Jack before I came inside. The people start showing up and shit gets ugly. Popped collars, Diesel jeans, shitty designs on button up shirts and Grey Goose bottle service. Need I say more? I don’t know. It’s one of those things where I can’t really cite too many more specific examples but overall I just felt uncomfortable, financially raped and out of place.
