Sean hooked it up two nights in a row. Great sandwich, great service… thanks!

How this Jimmy Johns can’t deliver past 5th and grand is beyond me. Especially during a slow night! Loved getting laughed at and hung up on when trying to place an order. Pathetic

Ordered online the Hunter’s Club… Yum and Beach Club(my friend seemed to enjoy it)! Food was ready when we picked it up and looked nice and fresh when we got back. Can’t go wrong with this place!

I had been to the Jimmy Johns in Florham Park and remembered pretty okay sandwiches with great bread. At this one, I paid $ 9 for a MAYOSANDWICH with one piece of turkey and some bacon(the lulu). I like mayo but it shouldn’t be the star of the show. I split the sandwich with someone and my side literally had one piece of turkey and and 1.5 pieces of bacon. For something that claims to have«double meat» that’s just… wrong.

Jimmy John’s is a solid 3.5 in my book. Always a promising sandwich, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I’d call it your classic 3 star chain experience. Jimmy John’s is pretty small, maybe two tables and 3 barstools, so it’s a takeout/delivery type of place. It’s clean and the staff is professional. The sandwich selection is modest, reminds me a bit of subway, especially the bread. I had a tuna hero, six dollars, good size but it wasn’t the best I’ve had. Moderately recommended, as Hoboken has so many sandwich shops with my preference: Hoboken-style Italian bread and rolls.

Eh while I will pick up something from here I always eat it and feel like«probably wasn’t a good choice» I only get one thing, the beach club unwich no mayo. Some how i keep ordering but always don’t really like it. It must be the convenience that makes me go back. It’s not that it’s bad it’s just not great. I don’t know what it exactly is that makes it not great. The reason I’ll give it two stars is because I still go back like once every two weeks for some reason :/

I ordered 4 sandwiches, so asked them a bag at the end. The reply I got was«help yourself» in a rude tone. Is asking for a bag a bad thing? Watch out for a zero customer service.

I am simple person. Salami and cheese sandwich — done. Man was this sandwich tasty and FRESH. No other way to describe it except fresh. It was so good and the salted potato chips are delicious!

Okay. so Jimmy Johns… is not bad. Not bad at all. but personally… it ain’t anything special. Its not like they are reinventing the wheel… their sandwiches are good. I think the quality of the ingrediants are way better than subway. but I’m not getting something so unique here outside of way better marketing, Design. and I have to say. efficientcy in getting you your food. These guys are fast. So far everytime I’ve been in to order, my food is ready very quickly. My only complaint is price. But maybe thats just me. Just feel for what I’m paying for something has to be better than the norm. And while its GOOD… and I salute you Jimmy John’s its not GREAT. BTW. I will revisit this place… Got nothing against it. just not a 4 – 5 star place for me.

After working in Hoboken for roughly 3 years I always passed Jimmy John’s but never went in. Never heard of them before and had no idea what kind of sandwiches they served. Recently I was in the vicinity and looking for lunch and figured why not try it out. The menu is small, especially when I was looking for hot sandwiches and didn’t find them. I opted for a #1 Pepe. When I got back to work and started eating my sandwich I was impressed beyond belief. The bread, the meat, the cheese, the mayo… everything was FRESH, crisp, refreshing, delicious, and most of all NOTHEAVY. It was a perfect serving to satisfy my hunger without making me feel gluttonous afterwards. I enjoyed my sandwich so well that I opted for their delivery service my second time around. TALKABOUTSPEEDY! If I wasn’t impressed before, I’m blown away now. Not to mention that the delivery man was very pleasant and professional.(Definitely not like some disgruntled ones I’ve encountered before.) He was a pleasure. I will absolutely be ordering again now that i know what Jimmy John’s is all about.

There’s absolutely nothing special about Jimmy Johns. The ingredients are of decent quality and taste, but the sandwiches would be a lot better if the tight-fisted employees would give more than three thin slices of meat per sandwich. It’s the same deal with the veggies — they’re served fresh, but the lettuce and tomato are FREEZING cold. I know its called iceberg lettuce, but that doesn’t mean that it has to be served at sub-zero temperatures. If you want your money’s worth, skip Jimmy Johns and hit up one of Hoboken’s MANY authentic Italian deli’s.

Here’s my question. Do you have to be a psychic to work at jimmy johns? There is literally no other explanation for the speed in which these sandwich sorcerers make a sandwich. No sooner has my order danced off my lips am I being handed a sub of dreams. TELLUSYOURSECRETS. Listen, fresh bread, yummy cold cuts, I’m like a fat girl at a buffet.(I’m totally not fat-I’m of moderate size. I mean… I could stand to lose a couple of… never mind) jimmy johns hits the spot everytime. Thanks bros. *4 Stars and not 5 for charging me $ 1.79 for a couple slices of salami for my daughter. Really? After everything we shared? That was pretty lame.

There is nothing«gourmet» about Jimmy Johns. It’s only cold cuts. Yeah the food is clean and prepared super fast, which unfortunately translates to really plain and disappointing. Who wouldn’t want their bread to be toasted? Even on cold cuts? No texture at all with their sandwiches. I would rather wait 5 minutes at another place and get a killer sandwich for the same price than get super fast service. Friend said to check out Café Bene’s sandwiches down the block. I did and it was WAY better –toasted bread, hot meat, fresh crisp veggies, and killer sauces. If you read the higher rating reviews, its mostly people reminiscing on their college days or other places around the country. I’m sorry but this place only gave me bad memories. Way overrated, won’t survive here unless corporate headquarters allows them to uniquely revamp their menu to serve NYC metro palates. Service was good but still gave 1 star bc I wouldn’t want anyone wasting the same money they could spend at any other deli around here and get better tasting food.

Ordered the«Vito» which is pretty much a lettuce sandwich. Lettuce to meat ratio easily 15:1(by volume). Pros: lettuce was crisp and shredded Cons: I didn’t order a lettuce sandwich

A lot of people were excited that Hoboken was getting a Jimmy John’s. So with all the buzz, I figured I’d try it. And I wasn’t impressed. It definitely doesn’t compare to local delis and even for a franchise deli it really isn’t anything special. Staff: friendly and fast. Restaurant: small, clean and bright. Food: OK. I ordered the Beach Club sandwich — turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato, mayo and avocado spread. I completely forgot there was avocado on it because it was pretty nonexistent until the last few bites of each half. They put the avocado spread between the provolone layer and the turkey layer so it was just stuck between the two cold cuts and you couldn’t even taste it. There was nothing bad about Jimmy John’s, but there was nothing good about it either. 3 stars at best.

First: I’ve had Jimmy Johns before. West coast not here. Secondly: Jimmy Johns sells sandwiches. Why the hell is your menu so damn extensive and complicated when essentially you are only selling bread with cold cuts? But last but most importantly: your customer service is horrendous. So bad that I refuse to do that insincere«sorry for the 1-star but…» apology Unilocalers usually do before dishing out a one-star review. You deserve it. Your manager is a forever-frat boy with a bad attitude. Boo hoo– I rather have subway.

Jimmy johns has finally made it to jersey. I’ve been hoping for this moment since moving home from the Midwest after college. You know how you often remember things from college fondly, only to realize your standards weren’t that high? That is how I felt here! I LOVED these sandwiches in college, granted this was over 15 yrs ago. I feel like this time the bread wasn’t as fresh and flavorful as it always used to be. It makes me wonder if their quality has suffered as they have expanded nationwide. I’ll probably still go on occasion and give it another try if I’m in the area, but I’m not going to go out of my way.

I was just told, by a friend, that this place opened in Hoboken. I IMMEDIATELY stopped in for a sandwich — JJ’s is so good! Décor: It’s a Jimmy John’s: seen one and you’ve seen ‘em all. But that isn’t bad, it’s clean, inviting, and well lit. There are a few tables, too, if you want to stay there and eat. Bathroom: I didn’t use it during this visit. Staff: The cashier girl was super friendly and welcoming and the sandwich makers were FAST(as usual!). I was in and out very quickly and that is just another reason I love JJ’s. Food/Drink: The sandwiches are delicious. Seriously, they are absolutely the BEST when it comes to franchised delis. In fact, I’d say they are, on certain points, better than the local delis in town(and in NYC). Yes, they are THATGOOD! I always, always get The Gargantuan and this time was no different — it was glorious. Value: GREAT bang for your buck here. Wonderful value! I will always come back for more, this place is awesome.

Excellent. JJs comes to Hoboken. Great food; fast service. I recommend the Italian night club but most anything should make you happy.
