Dominick’s & Vincent’s Barber Shop

Great barber shop! Been coming here for the last eight years for haircuts /​beard trimmings /​shaves and have never had a problem. They had some turnover a couple of years back, but have a solid crew in now. I would recommend Herbert or Theo based on experience. This is a good relaxing spot to get a haircut in, and has some amusing characters that pop in from time to time on the weekends. If you haven’t been in it’s worth a try.

Awesome barber shop! Just moved to Jersey City and needed to find a new barber (literally my least favorite activity every time I move). Theo was the one to cut my hair. I had to explain very little about what I wanted, and he automatically had a vision of what I needed. Very friendly and easy to talk to as well. Very glad I found this place

Herb is my man to cut my hair… He is a true hair cutter with the scissors. Great sense of style and a blast to chat with.

This is a legit BARBER SHOP! The kind of place my dad used to take me, and the first of it’s kind that I have found in Hoboken.
Solid haircut — buzzer, scissor, and the straight razor along my hairline. Perfect.
Herbert did a good job on my hair. Him and Theo are cool dudes.

I have had the same haircut for almost 20 years, a crew cut… until I walked into D&V and met Theo.
The wife wanted something different than the same olé so D&V is close to my condo so it was easier and it seemed like an actual Barber shop and not a girly «man» salon. I asked Theo to keep it kinda long on the top and just do what he thinks is best.
He did a fantastic job, the wife loved it and I even like the new do. And I hate change. Theo is an awesome guy, and this is a true barber shop where you sit, wait and bull shit with everyone.
They are cash only which is a bit of a bummer but it’s $ 17 for a haircut, you can’t even get that at a Supercuts. I’ve been for 2 cuts now and I will be back for the rest as long as I live in Hoboken.

Great Barbers but very unreliable service. they don’t take reservations, and the first come first serve system is not working well. their Haircut prices are very reasonable — less then $ 20 — if you like a barber stick with it, the problem is, a couple of months later it may not be longer working there !
Cleanless is just average, they don’t really do a great job, but the biggest issues I have heard, from people complaining many times is the: No reservations, with the first come and served policy.
Hoboken is a small town of professionals, many they don’t have a lot to time to waste waiting for an haircut, or… for a barber that is waking up late and shows up straight out of bed.
its just not so cool.

I’ve been coming here exclusivity for 2 years now, and can easily say that Theo is quite honestly the greatest, and most sincere and kind barber I’ve ever had the pleasure to encounter in my life. If you come here, only let Theo cut your hair, anyone else and you won’t understand why this shop is so amazing. I’ve never been disappointed by the art that Theo makes out of my hair, and recommend waiting in line for him every single time, he is the best barber money can buy. The only times I’ve been disappointed is when a lady cut my hair. The whole time she drank Coke, left in the middle of a cut for 15 minutes, and did a HORRENDOUS job on my head. Theo apologized on her behalf, and fixed my hair up the next time I went.

Love Love Love this shop! My husband started going to this shop when we moved to the area a few years ago. He has now become a regular and Inspired me to bring the kids. Theo is our barber He is great with the children very personable and always give what we ask for. If you want a classic real barber shop with great prices and personality you will find it here.

First haircut in hoboken. Had about 4 people ahead of me in line and the one barber on duty got threw them all quickly giving them all quality cuts and then gave me one that was on point! Great atmosphere will definitely go back. Job well done.

Arnel isn’t a barber. He’s the artist-​with-​clippers virtuoso who found his passion in an area all gentlemen need expertise. I have my tailor in the city, trainer at the gym and my barber, Arnel in Hoboken. Bring cash.

Seriously best spot in Hoboken to get a haircut. They can do anything from a business cut to some nice shading. It’s a classic shop on the weekends where the old Italian owners come to chat and read the paper. It’s not cosmetically up to date, but the barbers are second to none.

This is my go-​to place to get a haircut. I have tried a few others in Hoboken but this is the best.
Décor: It’s a pretty standard barber shop. There is plenty of natural light, which is nice, and they have plenty of chairs for cuts and for waiting. The TVs are always playing something worth watching and everything throughout is kept nice and clean.
Bathroom: I think they have one, but I’ve never used it.
Staff: All the guys that cut hair here are super friendly and nice. The guy I ALWAYS got to, however, is the best. His name is Herbert and he is a master. Not only does he do a wonderful job (that he takes his time on) but he is great to shoot the shit with too.
Value: Anytime you can get a quality haircut for under $ 20 you can’t go wrong. Men’s cut is $ 17, perfect.
I will always return here for my haircut. Herbert is money, so my money goes nowhere except Herbert.

I almost don’t want to rate this place fives stars, because then everyone will know what a hidden gem it is.
Great barbers, great haircuts and decent prices. What’s not to like? Chris is the consummate professional and always does my do’ right. Love the olds school touches like the hot neck shave and the eyebrow trim.
Best place to get a men’s haircut in the Mile Square. I’ve tried the new, trendy places that charge double what D&V’s does… simply not worth it. Dominick & Vincent’s is the place to go.

I’ve been going here since I moved to Hoboken after graduating college. (almost 10 years, wow haha) This place is one of the last classic, non commercial, no frills barber shops in town. Theo and Chris are awesome. They never let me down with their skills. My GF loves the work they do. She calls me a super stud whenever I get back from this place. You feel the love in this place. Get a haircut here and feel like a man. This is a barber shop, not some salon. Great price, can’t be beat. :)

Every barber in this shop is great in skill and personality. I’m pretty terrible at communicating what I want in a haircut but even with that they take great care of me.

Five stars simply isn’t enough.
I moved to manhattan and still travel out to hoboken to get my haircut here; Theo is the only one I’ll let cut my hair.
This shop is a gem, the same as when it opened 40 years ago. Perfect classic barber cuts, Americana style, blues tunes. Theo will spice up the classics and give me the best haircuts I’ve ever had with just a touch of edgy, forward «pop».
The warm shaving cream neck shave is perfect.
These girls don’t even know what to so I look so neat.
I really don’t know if I’ll go anywhere else ever again.
This place is the best.

The barber did a fantastic job taming the mop on top of my head. She was fast, translated my rubbish on what I wanted and was friendly. She knew what she was doing with long hair.
