Slow service at first but she finished strong. Our party of 8 had a great time watching the sunset, followed by fireworks, and rocking out to music on the upper level patio. Can’t figure out why this place isn’t busier. Must be that they’re playing The Macarena even as I type this.

Today was the first time there and we had brunch. It was fantastic. The selection was great the food was very good and the service was on point. Our server Jessica took care of our party. I feel bad it’s taken me this long to go but I won’t make that mistake again. It’s one of my favorite Restaurants on the island. Make sure to try the sweet potato biscuits. Looking forward to having dinner there soon.

Great food and wonderful service, also a great non-standard kids menu which is a nice chance of pace.

Was here 6÷9÷16. Had a group of 15 and everyone enjoyed their meals. Was a little mislead by the waiter but that was my fault. I ordered what he recommended and his tastes and mine obviously varied. But he did a great job and the atmosphere is wonderful

Service was terrible. I can’t review the food because the bartender who took our order forgot to place it.

We came here with the in-laws while on vacation, and it was pretty good. The server was friendly, although pretty ambivalent at times. When asked what was best thing, he gave the worst answer; it depends on what you like. Yeah, we get that. People usually want to know what YOU think is the best thing when they ask you that. The table had mixed reviews on the food. Maybe that explains his non-committal! I had clam strips, which were nothing special unfortunately. I rarely get them, so you want them to be good if you’re getting them on an island! There were a couple orders of fish and chips, and my husband loved his so much he went home and looked at YouTube videos of how to make something similar. My father-in-law thought the fish was too big. My sister-in-laws pasta was so spicy she couldn’t eat it, although it did say spicy on the menu. The grilled chicken nuggets we ordered for our daughter never came, but she enjoyed the fried nuggets all the same! The food was pricey, but I thought you got a good portion size for the cost. The inside is very sleek, and nicely decorated. We did not get to check out the rooftop bar everyone raves about due to rain! Overall, this is a good option.

Stopped in Hilton head for one night and found this spot via Unilocal.Party of 9 couldn’t be seated until all of party was physically in front of the host. Ordered broiled seafood platter with scallops, shrimp, deviled crab and fish. Really fresh and delicious food. Service was ok, nothing spectacular.

Had dinner at the bar where the service was unfriendly putting a chill on my dinner. Had two appetizers and split to get away from lousy attitude. Food was okay.

Well came back here since moving to the island. Came for lunch twice and both times enjoyed the entrée.

Great bar and excellent food! We sat at the downstairs outdoor bar. Bartender was great! We ate oysters which were Very good. I had the mixed grill for dinner… sooo delicious! The crab cakes were the best I’ve had so definitely get them. My husband had the prime rib, also very good. Prices reasonable.

Went here for lunch during our trip to Hilton Head Island and wasn’t disappointed. This restaurant is really cool and the wait staff is friendly. Our waitress, Lucy, was the greatest. She gave us suggestions and was super attentive. Our drinks never went empty. I ordered the Blackened Chicken Cobb Wrap with fries. The wrap was full of everything and the fries almost seemed like they weren’t needed. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This is a shiney, new pickup bar that also happens to serve some good food. In a gentrified commercial section of a residential community, Poseidon perches on a visible corner within view of the water. Outside, a sports bar with lots of tv screens lets people see and be seen — something reportedly quite desirable for the denizens of adjacent, sleepy residential communities. Upstairs, a «dress up» club with a slick, expensive disco look is equipped to pump 60s, 70s and 80s music at acceptable noise levels for its aging patrons. I enjoyed the swordfish, though blackened to a scorch, served with sautéed kale. It sat on a bed of Perloo. How cool is that?

We had an absolutely amazing dinner at Poseidon on our visit to Hilton Head. We have been visiting the island for years now and the new shelter cove area is amazing to visit. We had drinks outside at a high top table and the mojitos we absolutely delicious. The temperature began to chill as the sun set which was beautiful, we decided to move inside for dinner. We had the spicy tuna roll appetizer and then I ordered filet medallions topped with lump crab and hollandaise sauce. My filet was like butter and absolutely to die for along with the Mac and cheese that came on the side. My friend ordered the stuffed shrimp also which was delicious. Her Mac and cheese side came out a little less creamy than mine which we mentioned to the manager who came to check on us. We just wanted to let them know so the kitchen could be aware. We were surprised with two pieces of turtle cheesecake that was amazing. After a second 5 star visit I would highly recommend to anyone!

Cool place with a cool vibe. I started with ½ dozen oysters — then had the crab cakes and a cold beer. The crab cakes are probably 90% crab meat. I say at the bar, as I was dining alone, and the bartenders were attentive and knowledgable. Overall, really solid experience.

This was a perfect spot for a stop after the beach! We just wanted a drink and a quick snack! This place worked out perfect. It was located in the new Shelter Cove Town Center. It was dog friendly, it had cute shops to stroll through and a really nice waterside park with a perfect view of the sunset. Our drinks were perfect for us. I loved my mojito. I also ordered some oysters and shrimp. The waitress broke down the difference of them very well, and was so helpful. It ended up quite busy, so after a while it was impossible to find our waitress so we can pay and leave. We eventually found her and went on our way!

Beautiful Hilton Head, South Carolina is home to my latest adventure! Poseidon Rooftop Bar hosts several events but the one that really caught my eye was the salsa nights! My sister and I got there a little early so we decided to kill a little time and dine in. The downstairs area is a spacious restaurant on the inside plus a full bar and DJ on the outside. With so many delicious options on the menu, it was so hard to choose what to order! I finally decided on the fried fish and fried shrimp with Coastal Rice and Truffle Mac & Cheese. I’ve really got to get more daring on my dining options but fried fish and shrimp are my usual ready-steady. The fish was crispy and seasoned really well and the shrimp were HUGE and well seasoned too. The Truffle Mac & Cheese was absolutely delicious and I thought about ordering a side of it to go but I decided to be a good girl… View pics and read more on my blog:

I. Love. This. Rooftop Bar. Ahhhh-mazing drinks for a good price. I get amazed at my bill every time I leave here. I’ve never seen a happy hour offer premium liquor, hand crafted cocktails, & wine… all under $ 5!!! Did I mention the gorgeous view here? Especially if you can catch a sunset here. While all of the lovely libations are flowing we always get the half off sliders to nibble on. Then we stick around for some great live music. I love it! The service, the drinks, the apps, the view, & the people! Rooftop Bar you have my heart & business!

Pros: You can get a plastic boot of beer for $ 14 and bring it back for $ 7 refills(46 ounces, quite the deal!) They have amazing happy hour specials. Try the local oysters, and the pimento dip they have. Happy hour is from 4pm-7pm. There’s a rooftop bar with a great view. Inside of the restaurant is gorgeous, pretty lights, nice décor, and very clean! Con:If you sit in the middle section of the restaurant they will NOT let you take advantage of any happy hour special, even if you order from their super expensive menu. That’s the one thing that kind of irritated me, but not to the point of giving them the credit above that they deserve. All in all, we’ll be back when we visit again. They have good food and reasonable priced drinks. It’s a must try!

The place was large and we wanted to sit roof top but it only had limited menus up top. We went at 5pm before the crowds and had a light dinner. We enjoyed the beet salad, oysters and split the lobster tail w/macaroni and cheese. The Mac and cheese had truffles and was pretty yummy. The ½ tail lobster was tender and good flavor. I had seafood soup the next day and it was too salty to eat all of but it was good. We skipped drinks and dessert so we can eat elsewhere. The servers were young and told us the wrong information a few times but not enough to be a big deal. The whole staff seemed like good folks.
