Would never go there again… even if the pizza was good. Not worth the lack of answering phones, placing on hold for over 10min… just gave up. Website doesn’t work. How the hell can they be in business for 32 years, operate in a resort town and be so inept at customer service. No pizza is worth that BS

Good pizza but it took almost 2 hours to be delivered. I wish I would have known that ahead of time. :(When I called to check on the pizza and hour later, the person on the phone said that it would only be another 15 – 20 min more. 45 minutes later I called again and a different person answered and said that it would be another 30 min. He said that it usually is a 2 hour wait which is ridiculous!

Gotta upgrade this one. I went back, and man that pizza is awesome. Our service was top-notch too. We were there during a slow part of Sunday, and it seemed like the perfect time to be there.

After a weekend of eating out, we just wanted to order in at the resort one night. It was the hubs and I’s treats to the in-laws. Great-pizza. This won’t be too bad on the wallet! Think again folks! I asked about specials when I called, I received a curt, «no specials,» from the lady on the phone. It was almost as if do you want this pizza or not? Okay, no problem. Two medium pizzas, one pepperoni, and one meat lovers, 20 wings, and some cheesy bread was ordered. This came to the fine tune of $ 65. What!?! I’m from DC. And I have never paid $ 65 for pizza delivery from any of the fancy pizza stores we have here. And the cost of living is probably 100% more than South Carolina, including Hilton Head! That didn’t even get us large pizzas. It was four adults, and our waistlines aren’t too large, so luckily there was no fighting over a chicken bone going on. The wings were overdone, and the garlic had an odd flavor. It was not good at all. The pizza was pretty good, albeit doughy. The cheesy bread was gross, and almost soggy. And not in a good way. Soggy bread, with melted cheese on top. Gross. This was more like 2.5 stars, but I’m rounding up for fast delivery.

First time here and our server Daniel was amazing! Her recommendations on the meat lasagna and chicken parmigiana were spot on and they were fantastic!!! Highly recommend this LOCAL Italian Mom and Pop restaurant.

Excellent Italian hoagie. Good pasta. Good environment for kids. Didn’t have the pizza but it passed the look test.

We just love the«neighborhood feel» of Giuseppi’s! The staff is so friendly and the food is always delicious. Usually we dine in, but on this particular occasion, we decided to order some take out(they also have delivery!). As usual, everything on the menu appealed to us, so we ordered a variety of things to share: Wedge salad, parmesan dippers, Meatball Parmesan Weggie(with sweet potato fries), and a Margherita pizza. Everything was fresh and delicious, as always. I was particularly impressed with the care at which everything was packed up for take out. All the ingredients for the salad were packed separately in small cups, ensuring that we would enjoy a nice crisp salad. The same was true for all the sauces that accompanied the Weggie and parmesan dippers. This was the first time I’ve tried one of the Weggies, and now I’m not sure what took me so long! It was like having a meatball sub/meatball pizza hybrid — all the deliciousness, without the mess. Plus, you get to dip it in Giuseppi’s incredible sauce. Highly recommended!

First of all, this is a Pittsburgh restaurant(no big deal, thought it was funny). Pizza tasted good. Only gave three stars because the pizza isn’t cooked on a stone and that is the best way to make a pizza. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable especially being on an island.

We had food delivered and although it was fast it wasn’t as good as I had hoped. The menu had recently changed and we had to make some substitutions. I had wings that were pretty good but we ordered what replaced the garlic knots and they were terrible. They had no taste at all. It was like eating fried pizza dough. Crunchy and bland. We had a few slices of pizza also and they were far from fantastic. I don’t see us ordering from there again. Unless of course there are no other options.

Ate here twice on my latest trip to Hilton head island. I enjoyed both times I came. Very laid back Italian/pizza place, with a sports bar atmosphere. Nice beer selection as well! Both times we visited here we had upwards of 6 people and both times they were very accommodating to our needs! The staff was very friendly and enjoyable. I had the chicken parm the first visit then the grilled chicken Caesar wrap. Both were excellent. Very large portions. Both times we had an appetizer of cheesy garlic toast and I highly recommend getting one yourself. You can thank me later. Will visit again when I go back to Hilton Head.

A taste of Pittsburgh on Hilton Head Island. This is a must every trip my family and I make. The food never disappoints. I suggest the cheese or spinach ravioli, chicken parm hoagie, wedgies and obviously the pizza. Prices are reasonable and the staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. This place is accommodating to families with young children and great for tourists. I’ve dined here more times than I can remember and have never had a bad experience.

We weren’t in the mood to wait in the late summer lines so we opted to order delivery from Giuseppi’s. The hour and a half to-the-door estimate actually turned into about 40 minutes. The pizza could have been hotter but the crust was good and the toppings were fresh. The Chef’s salad was excellent with all of the ingredients neatly arranged, just waiting for a quick toss. The homemade dressing was actually that. The fried zucchini travelled well. It was hot and crispy. The prices are«islandized» but it’s good pizza and sides. Would definitely order again!

You might not think of pizza when choosing hilton head, but good pizza is always a welcome escape from high priced, mediocre seafood joints. This place is the real deal. Not owned by one of the big restaurant groups, Giuseppis is excellent. They must hire great kids because they are always super nice. We’ve been coming here for more years than I can remember. Pizza is only rivaled by my hometown LaRosa’s, Cincinnati. Speaking of Cincinnati, the only knock is that it is run by Steeler fans and Steeler memoir ilia adorns the walls. I grew up hating the Steelers but love Giuseppi’s!

Waited 54 minutes for our food and they were not busy at all. My wifes was luke warm and just sent it back and ordered 1 slice of cheese pizza which took another 9 minutes. The waitress was not friendly at all and dis not want to be there. Manager came over 15 minutes after we sent the food back and said he was sorry and he wasnt going to charge us for the food we sent back and dis not want anymore. Ahhhhhh, ofcourse it better not be on the check we didn’t even touch it. 2nd year in a row were it took foreverrrrrr for the food and not being that busy. We wont go back, will have to try dough boys next time.

There’s gotta be better pizza than this on HHI. No real big complaints. Had the White Pizza with a caesar side salad. Personally I didn’t like the salad, way too much grated Parmesan cheese. The pizza was far from delicious, but wasn’t terrible either. Personally for pizza I would have preferred Papa Johns or something similar.

The wait was over an hour, but worth it. Great, lucky start to our visit. They accidentally made extra garlic bread and gave it to our table free of charge. They thought the kids would love it and they did. Very good pizza made with fantastic ingredients. We had pepperoni and cheese. Crust was extremely good, sauce was fresh, pepperoni was excellent and cheese was perfect. We’d give it 5 stars but the wings weren’t that great. We ordered the Hawaiian sauce which was good, but the wings were a little fatty. Service was solid. The place has a Pittsburgh sports theme which made us feel at home. We’ll definitely be back.

I tried Giuseppis for the first time the other day and I was very satisfied. Their menu offered a wide selection of pizzas, calzones, pasta, salads, and«weggies» which are what I would describe as a pizza sandwich. When we arrived at Giuseppis it was a tad bit crowded so we had to wait about 20 minutes before being seated. They gave us menus to look over while we waited for our table which allowed us to figure out what we wanted before we got our table which was great. I ended up ordering their veggie weggie and a slice of their supreme pizza. The veggie weggie was very delicious and filled me right up. The weggies come with fries which were also very good when dipped in their honey mustard. The pizza was very delicious but I ended up not being able to finish it because I was full from my weggie. The service and atmosphere here is very friendly and welcoming. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which is great when the weather is nice. If you’re ever in the area, then I would definitely recommend trying Giuseppis.

Giuseppi’s Pizza & Pasta has been a staple in my wife’s family’s HHI vacations for as long as they can remember. When I started traveling with them, it was no exception. The restaurant is in the corner of a strip mall off of William Hilton Pkwy. It is just one of a couple of locations, but the one we always go to. You are able to sit outside or inside the restaurant. On nice days, it seems you can have some trouble finding a seat outside. Our most recent stop(5.16.15), the patio was so full we decided to eat inside. I will note that on our way out they had a woman playing guitar and singing for the patio customers. She sounded pretty good. The inside is very large and has many tables along with a bar area that you can sit it if you are so inclined. This is definitely a sports themed restaurant as there are multiple TVs around the place along with a lot of memorabilia. The owner must be a Pittsburgh fan as there are a lot of Pittsburgh teams represented on the walls. The restaurant offers much more than pizza, but I can’t comment on it because we’ve only ever gotten their namesake. This last time we tried the Mega Meaty that comes with pepperoni, ham, meatball, Italian sausage, and bacon. It was delicious and definitely meaty. You can order by the slice, a 12″, or a 16″. Four of us were able to finish the 16″ only with minor trouble(slices were being split in two by the end). A special nod from me is their beer tap selection. Being from Indiana, I don’t have access to Yuengling often, so whenever I can get it, I jump at the chance. As long as Giuseppi’s is there, I don’t see us not stopping every single trip!
