Inconsistent service and a supremely disappointing rat problem. Service is hit or miss. What we’ve experienced is the gal behind the counter is not very helpful, and at times rude. Conversely, the gentleman who works here is awesome! He’s one of the few reasons why we have not ditched this place entirely. I always forget his name after asking, but he is always very helpful. We’ve been storing our items for a short time here. When putting back our christmas items at the beginning of 2015, we returned to a foul smelling storage facility, and unit. Rats had taken up residence, eaten parts of the legs of our dining room chairs, pooped & weed in most of the unit, and made nests out of our bed linens. 8 months later, we’re still, slowly, trying to clean up. After returning home from the first time I attempted to clean up, I got sick. Stomach issues, respiratory issues, etc. Now, each time I go in I have to wear gloves and a mask while I sift through what is salvageable and what isn’t. When we notified the gal behind the counter she said, «Yeah, we know. That’s why there’s bait boxes throughout the buildings.» When I mentioned the rat problem ruined a bunch of our items she said, «Well, there’s nothing we can do about that.» No offer of apology, nothing. Truly disappointing, especially after paying $ 100+ every month for the 10×10 space. The vibe I got; as long as we kept paying the storage fees, everything was fine. On top of that, they recently raised their rates. We’ve also noticed another infestation; some dodgy folks are«living» out if their storage units. Unmade beds, clothes, groceries, and rubbish. I get that times are tough and people have to do what they have to do. It’s just made me feel unsafe. P. S. The unsafe factor for me was upped a notch when I was recently contacted, while at work, after having posted my initial review. I was asked about writing the review, and why did I not speak to her, etc. Unfortunately this gal’s tone was very accusatory, coarse, and invasive. Which made the call very unproductive and very off-putting. I thought it very unprofessional for this gal to search her company’s database for my name and phone number, then call me to complain about my complaint. Unsure if remorse or damage control has set in; we recently discovered a $ 5 credit to our bill this month. Luckily we’re short-timers, and will be moving soon, and personally will no longer need their services. I would strongly advise you to inspect and re-inspect the building, and where your potential unit will be, before storing your items here. I would also re-evaluate how much personal information you give this company. I’ve felt neither safe nor clean when here.

I was sorting out my storage unit one day while a employee Brian was making rounds cleaning Hallways. He was very friendly and even help me out for a second pulling out a bike I have stored.
