Baristas are largely friendly and genuinely want you to have a good experience. Things can get a little bit slow if there are a lot of customers in the drive through, but you’ll usually be in and out fairly quickly. Very convenient location at the edge of downtown Hillsboro. Friendly folks and they still have all the offerings of the full size stores. They even have wifi on the outdoor patio. One note– no indoor seating.

I never go to this location but because it was the nearest Starbucks and needed my caramel macchiato, I decided to visit. If I could, I would give this place 1 star but because my coffee tasted just fine, I’ll give it 2 stars. After leaving the location, I realized that my cup looked a little small to be a grande. I thought, maybe I did order a tall(small), however, I was certain that I ordered a grande(medium) for sure. I looked at my debit card statements and sure enough, I paid $ 4.45 and was undeniably sure that a grande did NOT cost $ 4.45. I looked at the menu prices for this location and sure enough, I paid for a VENTI(large) just to get a small order of a caramel macchiato… Unbelievable. Never going to this place again.

I visit this store several times a week. I love Cappicino and I feel that they need to retrain their Barista’s on how to make this drink. When I order a Cappicino they are as wet a Latte. Serveral times I have asked them to remake the drink it was such an inconvenience so much so that one of the female Barista stuck her head out window with snarky remark that next time I order a Cappicino to order it Cappicino extra dry. I watched her make the first one and she frothed the milk and poured it in instead of spooning the froth milk on top of the drink. Any body who knows how a Cappicino is made knows it is 1⁄3 espresso, 1⁄3 milk and 1⁄3 froth for more of an espresso taste. Also Starbucks policy is that they will remake you drink if you are not happy with the first. Anyway I thought okay next time I will order it dry and again it came out pretty wet. I feel like I should not have spicify it wet or dry when I just want a regular Cappicino. It is very frustrating because I like Starbucks and this it the most convenient store on my route to work. Hope this makes a difference.

Employees here don’t seem to like their job. They’re always grumpy looking, seems to not get along with each other, poor team dynamics. Charged me for a full drink when I asked for a refill and I’m a gold member! I wish there’s another Starbucks close to Pacific within distance of walking OR an overturn of the employees. Just want my coffee and gold stars :(:(:(

I rarely drink Starbucks. I only go when there’s no other options. I hate the coffee, but I don’t think i’ve ever had any bad experiences with the employees at any of their establishments. For that, I appreciate.

As a student at Pacific, caffeine is a must. I refuse to drink Einstein’s coffee, and this Starbucks is only a little walk away. I get a simple Venti coffee, three pumps white mocha. Not too hard of a drink. It always comes out bitter. Today was no different. Except for the entire bag of coffee grounds I found on the bottom of my cup.

I’ve had better experiences at most other Starbucks locations in the Portland metro area. The service and drink quality lack at this location. Last time I was here they ended up making drinks for people that had ordered after me, which I normally don’t care about but I was really in a hurry and it seemed like they just couldn’t be bothered. Employees were chatting and not working very efficiently. Also, my drink tasted bland and not made properly. Another time I had a coupon which they wouldn’t accept, although they couldn’t give me a firm reason as to why and I had friends who had used the same coupon previously that day. I ended up emailing corporate(yep, I’m one of those people) and they sent me two free drinks for the inconvenience. Yay SB corporate customer service, boo 10th Ave. Hillsboro location customer service. Chances are you’ll find better service and quality at most other Starbucks.

I can’t say I visit Starbucks a whole heck of a lot throughout the year, but during the month of December I make up for that. There is no other egg nog latte as good as the one served here. I have also found a new weakness… peppermint cake pops! Ohh,.I know it’s wrong… all those calories, calories, calories! But I figure I’ll be dead soon enough, might as well enjoy life while I can! They are mighty GOOD! The staff here has been really nice the last few visits… very nice. Today, I guess they messed up an order… and gave me the free latte that would have gone to waste. Yeah, okay, I’ll take it! There was a super long line when we got there, but it moved very fast! And there were several people busting their butts inside… hence the fast service! Yeah, you all are alright in my book.

I just reviewed other reviews and I was shocked at what some people were saying. I always have nice baristas to take care of me. I’ve had a couple orders turn out wrong but the always take care of it right away. I go to this particular Starbucks specifically because they’re so nice.

Top Notch service. Expect a line at the drive thru because everyone recognizes top quality service and so they have many loyal customers. They are friendly and if you are a regular, they will learn your name and favorite drink. I visit several coffee shops, but this one is hands down, the best.

They are extremely judgmental. Its been kind of cold here lately but I’m not found of hot drinks so I ordered a frappchino at 8am. The employees had a pissed off look and made comments when making my order. I’m sorry but WE, as CUSTOMERS provide you with a JOB. With out CUSTOMERS there will be NOJOB.

Typical Starbucks chain. 1 drive thru window(always busy) and 1 walk up window on the other side. Close to proximity to Pacific University Health Professions campus and Tuality Hospital. Fast service, but sometimes their employees can get your order wrong(I think they are still in training). Sometimes the employees are nice, I guess it depends on the time of day or their stress level. But hey all work places are like that. I’d go back for my coffee fix and I need to cram the night away.
