SUPERB food and excellent entertainment. BESTBESTBEST. We braved the traffic from North Portland to Hillsboro, and will return AGAIN! Great music /open mic…

Great local pizza, always hot and a favorite among locals. Mike has opened and managed many high end restaurants in Portland and had the opportunity to own his own here in Hillsboro so he jumped on the opportunity. We are lucky to have him and his great food now here in Hillsboro!

Great atmosphere and friendly service. The pizza was great, and I love that they have a full bar! It was really tasty and the wood fire oven is beautiful. $ 16 seems a little high for a 12″ pizza though — that’s the only reason this isn’t a 5-star review.

For those of you who have never experienced this jewel of the downtown cultural revival, I encourage you to give it a try-day or night! Pizzario’s offers some of the best pizza, pasta, soups, beer, wine and other spirits you will find along with an intimate and warm environment, great service from the staff and some of the best local musical talent weekly. If you love food, it is hard to beat the $ 8 pizza and salad lunch special. The daily fresh soups created by the head chef are both incredible and varied with fresh ingredients that you know did not come out of a can. He does an excellent job. Their lunches are served in a quiet and warm environment that is suitable for business lunches or simply just meeting with friends. Ownership and staff do an excellent job of adjusting to the needs of the moment and providing the customers with just the right atmosphere. Dinnertime is much the same but as the evening approaches it does tend to get more upbeat, busier and lively as one would expect for typical evening hours, especially at this venue! For those who love music, this may be the best part of the whole thing! At Pizzario, you will find a musical lineup that includes events such as a monthly Student Workshop Presentation on Tuesdays featuring students and instructors from local music stores, bluegrass music on Wednesdays, jazz and piano on Thursdays, regional talent on Fridays and Saturdays and the best open mic in the region on Sundays. This place is happening! Either way, I don’t think you can miss out, no matter when you step in! I hope you try it out.

This is a great little pizza place in downtown Hillsboro. They have a few vegetarian options. The kale, caesar and garden salads are great. The pizza is from a wood fire oven so it tastes awesome. They have a para special everyday. In the summer there is a little outside seating. There is a big chalk board inside that kids can draw on. Its a great place for couples or families. They could use a better beer selection and a real vinaigrette dressing.

Received a gift certificate so decided to give it a try. Ambience is nice. Staff was friendly an efficient. Ordered a cesear salad and teriyaki chicken pizza. Salad was fresh with sliced bland Parmesan cheese and I hope bottled dressing because it also was not very good they offered fresh black pepper which was ground to powder. Pizza came and it was just ok. Minimal toppings. They were fresh. Couldn’t make out any teriyaki flavor though I could see the color of it drizzled around. Crust was a little soft like NY style. Not much flavor like the rest of it. So 12 inch pie, small side salad and soda. $ 25.00. I don’t care how fresh and local anything is if it’s just ok food and overpriced Won’t be back

Honestly I was hoping for better. The place is great to look at and its a great idea. We ordered two pizzas from here their margarita pizza is a nice choice but other then that the place isn’t that great. I wish I could have liked this more but I didn’t If the prices were less for what they offered sure but the quality just doesn’t justify the price. The service was great the girl who helped us was very friendly and tried to interact with our toddler which was nice. If you can’t find another pizza place or have never had pizza then sure come here otherwise not a fan.

Crust is great, sauce is good, sausage is the best kind. Apple cobbler desert was great and wood fired! Staff is friendly and makes it a comfortable place. Band was side show, recommended if you like that folky type of music, which I do.

We liked the new pizza place… the old one was pretty horrific, and the pizza here is actually good and reasonably priced. I love the chalkboard wall, where guests can have a bit of fun. The only complaint that I have is the salads – they are not usually too amazing and the cost on them is more than some high end restaurants. I did once have a champagne salad there that was to die for, but it is not on the menu, it was only an add for the day. :( I also would like to see Oregon wines, and some Rieslings. I usually just have iced tea because I’m a sweet wine drinker. But do try the pizza. It’s solid and the owner actually seems to care what his customers like. OH and drink refills don’t cost!

We went here on a date night a few weeks ago and they had music. The musician was Steve Blanchard. He plays bluegrass and Gordon Lightfoot on guitar. He’s been playing for many years, since he was a kid and is really good. The pizza was really good, too, although I wish it had been a little larger with more toppings, so needed to order a wedge salad. The server said there was bleu cheese crumbles served on the lettuce, I doubt that. Not even in the bleu cheese dressing. However, the dressing was passable. I love the wood fired pizza, and you can see the pizza chef doing his thing right out front. Pretty cool. The wait staff were great! Very personable, nice, sweet, and very helpful. It would be nice if all restaurants had wait staff like these folks. We will return, definitely.

Hillsboro Wood fired pizza is back! Main St has been busy with new businesses lately, and Pizzario doesn’t disappoint. Owner Mike Soto will excitedly tell you about special cuts of wood they’re using, knowing how it will affect the flavors of the pizzas that evening. Super-thin crusts, 12inch pizzas, a rotating draft and wine selection, and a very attentive waitstaff will keep us coming back. Easily our favorite pizza on the Westside.

Tried Pizzario for weekday lunch! New place is Hillsboro Downtown! Red and wood themed ambience. The good part: Vegetarian pizza! It didn’t take that long to be served. It was perfectly crusty and had good amount of toppings with perfectly proportionate chèvre cheese! Pizza sauce is tasty and tastes very different from pizza chains. Not so good: Cheese Pizza slices from display! Eating it was an experience! Was very chewy and not too fresh! We did share this and the friendly owner reduced that price from the bill. I wish they won’t serve those hard pizzas to anyone or may be it was one of the odd days! **** stars for vegetarian pizza and good customer service! I will visit again for Margarita pizza and try their dinner menu. Looking forward to eat vegetarian lasagna and to experience live music on weekend.

We stopped by for our first«post earth oven» visit. Had a nice kale salad(fresh from the farmers’ market), pizza, and some local beers. All good. Service was prompt, though we walked in at a slow time so it took a while for the staff to notice we’d arrived. Once over that little hurdle service was very efficient and the food was delicious. We’ll definitely go back. I’m hopeful we’ll see some pizza combo innovations in the future. Mmm.

Fantastic food, delightful owner, & an adorable waitress. Fiancé had the classic pepperoni pizza(12″ — 6 large slices) & I had the night’s special: vegetable lasagna. We both really enjoyed our dinners. We sat outside & enjoyed the gorgeous evening while the owner came out on several occasions to chat. It was nice to get to know him & his story. We wish there were more beer choices, but we get that their focus is more on the food. The food alone will bring us back. Looking forward to trying a cocktail & hearing the music. Welcome to the neighborhood!

THEPIZZAISLEGIT. This place, as locals know, has some big shoes to fill seeing as it is the same location where Earth Oven Pizza used to be, I am happy to report the pizza does not disappoint! They make almost everything in house(sausage, sauce, they even roast their own chicken!). The crust is honestly one of the best I’ve had. It’s got a great chew to it yet still perfectly crunchy and a hint of garlic. They also use specially sourced artisan flour. I also think it’s really cool that they as a local business, support other local businesses. They get a lot of the produce they use from the Hillsboro farmers market and serve Vertigo brewing! The staff and owner, Mike, are all very friendly and you can definitely tell take pride in this place. Definitely going back!

Living only three blocks away I have been so excited for this business to open their doors, and now they are here. Hands down, best pizza in town. O.K. So I haven’t eaten every pizza in Hillsboro, but I have tried enough that I believe myself to be someone who knows great pizza. Also, they have an awesome, friendly staff. The owners are from the neighborhood so our community is important to them. Their restaurant is what this city needs. The prices are reasonable also. I am looking forward to many dining experiences with family and friends at this great pizzaria. Congratulations again!!!

Hub and I stopped by today for lunch about 2:00ish. There was no parking to be had due to a Spanish Cultural Event. Finally found a spot ½ a mile away. Nice little place, we sat outside it was lovely. Tons of people watching to be had. Ordered a Wedge Salad $ 7.00 and the Main Street Pizza $ 15.00. The pizzas are the 13 inch style and baked in a Wood Fire Oven. One pizza is enough for two if you aren’t starving. The Wedge Salad came and we could not figure out what was wrong, finally did, there was no Blue Cheese. We mentioned it and the owner felt so badly she made us one up «to go» which when I got home and looked at it there was still no blue cheese, only a ranch dressing and a blue cheese dressing on the side. Slightly confused still, maybe a better description on the menu and reduce the price about 3 bucks. Not worth the current price of $ 7.00. The pizza was delicious. The Pizza Dough is absolutely perfect. My husband worked at Giovanni’s in High School, he is a Pizza Snob! The dough was chewy and very tasty. The sauce is also very flavorful and spread to the edges of the crust as it should be. The Italian Sausage is full of Fennel and my favorite thing. If you are looking for a cheesy traditional pizza, this isn’t it, I could not really detect cheese although I am pretty sure it was on there somewhere! Toppings are a bit sparse and spread a little unevenly, but they have only been open 4 days I give them huge props for doing it as well as they are in that time frame. Service was awesome! Can’t wait to go back!
