Great experience after a long hike. The bartender was great and made it fun. Burgers are rumored to be fantastic, but we just got wings, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks, which were all good. Pool table for those who want to play. Nice Christmas lights!

Hometown feel at its finest. You go to Benny Havens for the drinks and conversation!!! Just a few blocks from West Point Academy is this neighborhood gem! Yuengling on tap was my go to beer!
The Unilocal address is incorrect though. I believe the correct address is 295 Main St… Just a few doors down from the police station!

Place is a historic bar that old Generals and Dead former presidents frequented when attending West Point; snuck off to and drank at after hours. That’s where the lore ends. I went here from a historic point of view. Knew the place was not the same from when General Grant, Sherman, Sheridan, Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee etc as the original place was torn down, moved, and then moved again. This place is a dive bar in West Point. It has a couple of things the original places had, like a sign and a stove but mostly just a townie bar.
Had the food. Not the best. Burger was way overcooked. And guess I was looking for more of historic feel to the bar. But alas, history is dead I guess.
It was cool I had a beer at the place the West Point Cadets are still required to memorize a song to, but its just a normal bar with normal folks and crap rememberance to history.

I was in town visiting a friend and stopped in for a beer which turned into a few. Super friendly people. Played some pool. I wish I had a local bar like this in my town. Cold beer and good people

It’s a local spot. It’s serves it’s purpose, no one bothers you. They have a pool table and the bartender is pretty friendly. It needs some cleaning up, but it’s walking distance from some hotels in the area.
