I walked in because I needed a bathroom and wifi. I ordered a double shot because, well, «espresso» is part of the name. «Do you want short or long shots?» I’m sure I showed my surprise. «How long do you pull them? «1.5 ounces.» «Long please. Do you only have paper cups?» There were tall stacks everywhere. «No, we have porcelain.» «I’ll take one of those, please.» More surprise. The coffee was great. And yeah, I know it’s about grind and bean, and machine and all of that, but they seriously pulled it just like I like it, with enough cream and in an appropriately-sized cup(warmed with hot water before they dropped a shot into it– nice touch). Atmosphere: It’s a got a nice hippie vibe(it shares a space with a yoga studio), nice music, with a big fountain in the middle of the space.

This is a great local coffee shop. It’s likely good for teat too but I know nothing of that. Very indie and groovy vibe. Separate yoga studio is in here but I’ve never seen any class in action. the water fountain in the back is quite a nice relaxing feature. good wifi. Excellent coffee for less than 2 bucks. Good freelance work spot or road warrior sales meeting-a-customer location.

I love ambiance of this place! It’s a cozy, quaint little coffee shop. Their ceiling is covered in coffee bean bags and they have a fountain in the middle of their sitting area. They even have a side room where they offer yoga. Customer service has always been fantastic. If you like peanut butter, I highly recommend the Newman. It’s a cold frappé containing white chocolate and peanut butter. My ONLY con would be a couple muffins I have tried there were dry but overall it’s a great spot to hangout & relax.

Not a good start. First, I walked into the wrong open door. Then I paid with $ 10 change for $ 5. It’s a cozy place with an indoor fountain. I’ll be back to try them again. My mocha was good.

Friendly service, beautiful décor, and the blueberry, walnut, and lemon muffin was delicious. The barista had me try an Americana(bold coffee blend) which had just the right amount of kick without keeping me wired for the entire evening. The waterfall situated in the center of the store was a wonderful touch to the already artsy décor. Enjoyed my short visit. Thanks for the pleasurable experience!

Great coffee and lovely atmosphere! Great for if you want to get away from all the franchise coffee shops and want to visit a more rustic café!

Love the interior, clean bathroom, service and fast internet. Oh yeah, the drinks are great. I remember most specifically, a peanut butter chocolate shake. Damn it was good.

We just moved to the Triad area 3 weeks ago. I’m definitely a coffee junkie and coming from NJ which is the land of Burnt Inconsistent Coffee from Dunkin Donuts(on every street corner), it’s pleasantly surprising to see Starbuck’s & Krispy Kreme everywhere down here. But, I do love coffee shops much more than chain places. They’re artsy, much more comfy cozy and I feel good about supporting local businesses. After researching coffee shops in High Point, I decided to try Debeen Espresso first; my best friend(and fellow coffee snob-junkie) from Jersey is visiting this week and he was excited to try it too. This place rocks. Lots of coffee, tea and smoothie concoctions to choose from. This first visit(yesterday) we chose an iced organic brown sugar latte and a caramel caffe brevé. Both were absolutely perfect and the service from Jason was polite, friendly and hospitable. This place is pure happiness & zen for us. We’re both pretty scientific photographers so it was lovely to see local artwork being displayed. New age lounge music, a beautiful fountain with koi fish, local pottery for sale, extremely friendly service and yummy baked goods like lemon blueberry walnut bread and homemade granola bars. Connected to a yoga studio, this may be my new spot.

My family and I went to DeBeen about two weeks ago and the experience was very nice. The associate behind the counter was very friendly and the iced chai was amaizng! My little girl had some gelato and my wife had a special blend coffee. The atmosphere was relaxing and the décor was very unique. We will be sure to make DeBeen a frequent stop when we need our caffeine fix!

As for the coffee they have have good«organic» coffee choices. Definitely better than Starbucks! As for the cashier, she was pleasant & friendly, however, the barista was either having a bad day or is normally aloof. Interesting décor, yoga studio –pottery studio, all conveniently located close to a laundering service is a nice touch. We highly recommend checking out this little gem!

Love this local coffee shop. Always willing to customize an order and everything is good here. My favorite is the vanilla chai latte! The coffee shop is also a great place to meet friends or get studying done. I’m here many times a week!

DeBean is outstanding! Their specialty coffee is wonderful and they will make it to your individual preference. It is the only place that will make a peanut butter and chocolate mocha. They are super friendly and courteous. A great coffee shop so don’t miss out and stop by for a specialty coffee drink!

I had been wanting to stop here several times but never did. Im glad I finally made it a point to go! I absolutely love the atmosphere. Very casual and inviting. Has a walk up order station with pastry to entice you. I ordered a latte which was superb. Prices are comparable to other coffee houses in the area, $ 2-$ 4. Parking is limited. Debeen offers a place to unwind and grab a cup of joe!

I absolutely adore this place. It has it’s own hippie charm about it. The people that work there are just as interesting. I don’t deviate a lot in what I order, which is relatively boring. I drink Iced Coffee with some random 1 pump of flavor, with a shot of espresso. They have a lovely array of coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and blended drinks. On occasion, I’ll enjoy an iced tea. They are really great about brewed coffee. They always offer at least 4 or 5 different types every day. They aren’t always piping hot, but nonetheless delicious. They also sell baked goods for every type of person.(Gluten free, sugar-filled, vegan, and a few in between) I personally love their homemade granola bars. Probably my favorite thing about this place is that they support local artists, and vendors. They feature an artist of the week and sell their art throughout the week. It’s definitely an awesome, fun, and exciting local coffee dig.

Their espresso is delicious, but regular coffees(drip coffee) are overdue in thermal dispensers, and tasted bitter. Pity.

I picked up a peppermint brownie and a southern pecan coffee from DeBeen today. The coffee was wonderful! I like cream and sugar in my coffee and with those additions, the coffee reminded me of pecan pie. I really enjoyed the roast on this coffee. The brownie was okay. It wasn’t my favorite texture… it was a crunchy brownie with a dry white icing that had a hint of mint. I believe it was royal icing. I am a fiend for chocolate/mint combinations in desserts and drinks, so the the little hint of mint was somewhat underwhelming and lost in the chocolatey flavor of the brownie. I would have loved more of a peppermint flavor inside the brownie. I’m more of a soft/chewy brownie fan. There were plenty of other choices of baked treats that intrigued me. I think I will try the 7up pound cake when I return. The inside of DeBeen is so cute! It seems like a relaxing place to hang out and chill for an extended amount of time. The barista was super friendly and welcoming.

The reason I am not giving this place 5 stars is because I did not purchase anything, so I am not sure about the taste in their drinks or snacks. However, the unique business layout and décor definitely have earned a 5. I had a brief meeting here for work and really enjoyed the ambiance. What a neat place! A lounge, coffee tables, a water fountain with real Koi fish and even a separate yoga room($ 10/class) all in one location. My favorite part: large bulletin board on your left hand side as you walk in. Great way to get involved in the community or just to see what’s happening in the triad area! Go in and grab a coffee or a snack, let me know what you think!
