Very big place. No weird chemical smell like other small nail salons. Decent service too. The workers are very loud when speaking Chinese to each other. I usually ask the women in front row desk to do my nails because she is most experienced. But she often get interrupt by charge money and answer the phone. Overall, cheap price and good service.

If I could rate this place a zero I would. During a pedicure a chunk of the side if my foot was sliced off with the callous shredder. Then she sprayed alcohol on it. Week later I was in the Doctor with a staph infection. I’ve been on antibiotics for a month now and still can’t put a shoe on. Tools are not properly disinfected. Beware!!!

Honestly depends who you get here. They are always SO busy And I think that makes some of the girls rush. I have had great experiences here but also bad.

I come here to get my nails done knowing that it’s going to be an ok expierence. The owner accepts every single person that walks in the door however does not give an honest answer about the wait time. It seems that the employees are unhappy and always talking loud and almost angry to one another (or about the customers, who knows?) The service is ok, its not relaxing by all means. The prices are reasonable and cheaper compared to other salons however this is the price you pay for the service you receive.

I get my nails done here and they do a fabulous job. I love the way they put such intricate designs on my nails. I’m disabled so I haven’t had a pedicure but am going to try it out. I’ve heard great things about their pedicures. The owner, Shirley is a wonderful person and so nice and welcoming. The establishment is clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. This is my go to nail salon, massage parlor and eye brow wax place. Very satisfied.

Do not do nails well. Very rude workers. Not worth your time… The prices are cheap for a reason.

This is the first review I have written and unfortunately it’s for a terrible experience. If I could give this nail salon zero stars I would. The only positive was the cleanliness of the salon. I went in for a pedi/​mani and I’m not even kidding I was done with both and waiting for my nails to dry within 20 minutes. I don’t know the name of the girl who did my nails, but she was very rough, didn’t take her time, and didn’t even smile or try to pretend to be friendly. My nails were filed down uneven, and the polish didn’t cover my whole nail. The finished job was bumpy from her trying to fix her mistakes. I was asked to pay for my mani/​pedi before she even started my nails (which is okay) however she also expected her tip at that point. Rude. I will never return to this salon!

I have been coming here for at least 5 years. Even prior to the current ownership. Its a large salon, nice spa feel, muted neutral space with lots of stone. The current owned has been very crabby lately. She yells a lot, it seems she is yelling anyway, hard to tell for sure since she speaks Chinese to her staff. But when I sat in her chair she was constantly interrupted to take money and make change for her techs. And seems to be aggregated. It was very unpleasant.

The first time I went to this place I had a nice experience. They have lots of different ad on options to your mani pedi. They also do waxing and massages. My folks got me a package with manicure, pedicure, massage, paraffin, and eyebrow waxing for my wedding shower. They wanted me to feel special the day of my shower. Everything was really nice and the massage was great. The only very minor complaint I had the first time was that the music they played during the massage was really odd. It was like Americana mixed with rain.
Over the next year or so I went back at least 5 times and Salon Max got progressively worse. The massages became painful, the staff was rude. Not one person in there speaks a lick of English and it’s really hard to communicate what services cost and what you need. The manager is terrible to customers. I’ve seen her embarrass customers accusing them of not paying when they clearly did. One time when I went for a manicure and pedicure the polish was old and peeling off my nails. They looked gross and I asked for them to be re-​painted and she absolutely screamed at me saying it looked fine. As time went on they got busier because the intersection where they are located got busier. They hired a bunch of new male staff members who are really terrible at giving manicures and pedicures. They get the paint all over the cuticles and I’ve been nipped more than once during a manicure. My mom goes here as well and tells me the same thing, they cut her skin and rush through the manicure/​pedicure to the point where the nails look terrible.
I’ve watched clients stand at the door waiting to be acknowledges for at least an hour. They never open the windows and it absolutely stinks of nail varnish. Overall, this place has gone down hill so bad. I will never go back here. To top it all off one time I went to grab my purse to pay and the woman goes «no, tip». I hadn’t even gotten the money out of my bag yet and she was accusing me of not giving her a tip. The staff is totally classless and the work is amateur. You could give yourself a better mani, pedi.
