I LOVE this place. Their broth is like none other and they have the best pepper sate I’ve ever tasted. I travel all the way from DC for their phở when I can.

The phở was a bit salty but tasty. I got the #1 and there was just too much nam beef, which made it feel heavier that I like, but overall pretty good.

The food is ok but the customer service is not at all. Both times I went with my bf the workers just stand around and watch your every move. which is not only uncomfortable but esp odd because they got one of our orders wrong both of the times we went(very simple too– chicken on a stick and bbq chicken with rice). They didn’t even come around once to take our finished plates or refill water… To top it off their register wasn’t working(which they gave no warning of ahead of time) and my bf had to walk to the closest atm and get cash. They didn’t give us a discount or anything. Def would not recommend this place or the hassle, unless you want a half ass meal with poor customer service. Will NOT be going back here again.

THEBIG: I’m in love with the Phở Phở. Located in the Clocktower Shopping Center. This little gem is tucked away in the corner. How I know it’s good: there were a lot of asians there at lunch time #ThumbsUp THEBLACKANDWHITE: I came here with some co-workers on a random day I didn’t bring my lunch. They were feeling soup and said they knew a good phở place. I am a phở master and told them that I would be the judge of that. Walking in, the place was surprisingly very clean. Most vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to have been very… let’s say earthy. It’s self-seat, so we chose a table close to the window. The décor inside was very asian-american: American restaurant décor with a few asian artifacts scattered around. The waitress was very fast with filling our waters and getting our orders in. I ordered a small bowl of the number 12(eye of round steak and well done flank). From when I ordered to when I received my noodle soup was 7 minutes. To answer your question, Yes I did time it. It was like fast food. Utensils came out in little bags. Phở was served with the typical beansprout, lime, thai basil combination. For a normal person, a small bowl will suffice, but if you’re super hungry, the large bowl will work… maybe 2. Meat was fresh and the broth(most important) was well balanced. Not too salty and not too bland. A+ THEFINALBAMBOO: Damage was $ 9(plus tip) for a small bowl of phở. Add a dollar if you decide to go for the large. Overall, very pleasant experience and it didn’t take too much out of the workday. Remember, if you see alot of asians at an asian restaurant, you know it’s good.

If there is negative star I would give that. Very upsetting experience. Waitress was very rude when I took some time to order the food. I was not happy but, I still ordered the food. Food came out WAY too salty and phở only has three small pieces of beef and way too little bean sprout and only few basil leaves. I had eaten there before so I knew that waitress somehow told the kitchen to make food terrible and kitchen people must done that for her. If customer can not trust how food will be served at the restaurant why should we go and pay our money and get upset? I shall never go this restaurant knowing that they mess with your food if they.

Our usual phở spot closed early so we popped in here instead. Not too bad. As others on Unilocal said — communication is not the greatest if English is your primary language and customer service is not high on their list either. The food was fine. They have different sizes of Phở to choose from(as they all do) and the standard combinations of meat or chicken. The bowls came out almost immediately after ordering so I felt like there was no care or preparation in the back of any kind. The broth had some flavor before any add ins but not a lot of depth. We also had an order of the summer rolls which were standard and served with the usual peanut sauce. All in all, quick in and out, decent on a cold night. Nothing super special about it — just A– OK.

Ehhhh I would say this place has ok Phở. Just average. Like most phở places, they really lacks customer service and it’s hard to communicate with them due to limited English on their end. Appetizers are ok. BUTTTTT let me tell you this place has one of the best spicy beef noodle soup(bun bo hue) I’ve had around NOVA. Highly recommend. Also they have pretty good bubble tea. Another plus is that they’re always usually open during holidays and even when we had that past storm. Not my go to place but it’ll due for a quick lunch or dinner. 3 stars from me!

My parents and I were in the area and we decided to give this place a try. You have the option of choosing between a regular bowl or a large bowl. The regular bowl provided just the right amount of satisfaction in terms of size. We tried the beef phở with tripe, beef flank, beef meatballs, and thinly sliced round steak. Sadly, they honestly skimped a lot on the toppings. The broth was tasty and the service was mostly friendly. I was just disappointed with the skimping of the toppings. It seems to be a regular spot for many working individuals in the surrounding area. All in all, Phở New is a good option of phở if you’re in the area!

Food was decent. When you order the fried rice expect to feed 2 with it, or take half home. The service was below par. The waitress hovered over me until I ordered. I felt rushed to make my order, so I chose shrimp fried rice. I also felt ignored when I was done. I asked for a to-go box and I’ve been waiting for 10 minutes. It’s dead in here so there really isn’t an excuse.

Yum! Pretty good, had the noodles and chicken with veggies and bean sprouts. Atmosphere is nice-not a fancy restaurant just a hole in the wall kind of place; but food is good and good prices. Service is fine and plenty of seating for big groups. Will definitely be back.

This place is okay, I mean there’s nothing outstanding that I am able to share but I feel like it’s pretty typical/standard. They seemed to have many regular customers though when I do come. Service can be improved, they aren’t very attentive and always seem like they are distracted like when they are taking an order, person stops and starts two separate conversations then when done, turns around and finishes taking the order. Happens almost every time, it’s hilarious. Food is okay, pretty average in my opinion. I usually get chicken phở and spring rolls. Chicken is thinly sliced so easier to pick up. I am not a big fan of the rough meat but i hear it’s good. Not my favorite place but this place is conveniently located I come a few times a year.

I came back here for some take out Phở Chin. The prices might be a little bit high for Phở but no complaints really. I got my food quickly and the lady who took my order was kind of enough to bring me and everyone waiting for their carryout orders a glass of water. The food was as good as most other Phở I’ve had.

Located between golds gym and shopper grocery store. The fried rice was not tasty. Fried spring roll was good. Grilled shrimp on stick was meh. I saw 3 people and they all ordered the phở soup so maybe i should have ordered the phở

GREAT place for Phở! Has really great prices, really good servings(with the meat in the phở), their appetizers are great, they give you a lot of extra sides for your phở at no extra charge. They are constantly refiling your water so you aren’t waiting for the waiter to come, ever! I really liked this place, great food– not really an «atmosphere». It’s family owned and really cute. They do what they can to make sure your satisfied. And I was sure as hell satisfied, went twice this week!

Wanted something small, not dinner, so after looking on Unilocal,I decided to check this place out while waiting for a meeting. I only ordered summer rolls & water. It was late afternoon so it wasn’t busy. Everything went well & the rolls were yummy until… I asked for the check & was rudely told to pay at the counter, rear of the restaurant. I am unaccustomed to this & didn’t know any better. I should have been told where to pay when my food arrived, it was obvious I was finished with my meal & was left to sit there for quite sometime. I was made to feel stupid, needless to say I won’t be back & I will tell everyone about their lack of customer service. RUDE gets 5 stars!

I was thinking of eating Mexican food in the area but my husband would like to eat some soup. This place is near to our hotel so we checked this out. The place is clean and the server was pleasant and friendly. The food came out fast. We love vietnamese food and we thought we’ll give this a try. The food tasted a little bit different from what we’re used to. It’s good but nothing extraordinaire.

The seafood phở is delicious but only comes in a large bowl. It contains shrimp(the shells are still attached so be careful), crab, and fish balls which are different types of fish mashed into a ball. The atmosphere is average, nothing fancy. You get to pick your table and you cash out at the counter, they put it all on one check but you can have it separated at the counter.

A friend of ours dragged my fiancé and I here because neither of us had ever had phở and since our friends are always going on and on about it we were a little excited to see what the fuss is about. I don’t really know what I expected but it was definitely not a bowl of noodles in broth that I could have easily made at home. I was told it’s all about the sauces you use, and they had plum sauce which I love so I was hoping that would help but basically I got some kind of beef brisket thing and it tasted terrible. It was very bitter and no matter what I did to it, it kept getting worse. The«brisket» was not brisket at all and the meat had a green tinge. My fiancé hated his as well and no amount of sriracha could fix it. It’s not really this place’s fault(minus the green meat) but yeah, no. The spring rolls, however, were excellent. Phở is just not for me it seems!
