Daphne has been my hair stylist for almost 10 years. She has great communication skills and always has new ideas on what to do next with my hair. I always feel fresh and rejuvenated when I walk out the salon.

i am writing a response Marie. I do not know her nor does she know me She found me on a Groupon ad. As stylist know this is good to get new clients. The drawback is most want to go from dark to light and buy a full hiite or thinking they can buy a partial hi-lite and get light hair just like that. One hiccup with Groupon is just that. They cannot screen everyone to look at their hair to explain what they can buy… they are not professional stylist. So the consumer guesses which one they want. NOT realizing if going from dark to light the many scientific factors going into it. In a nutshell. how long has it been that dark… cannot just lift and have Carmel hilites. So depending if they want all over lightness then most the time we have to strip out the other color, add hilites and tone. Which beomes a color correction, and that means more time and money. Which the client gets upset about. This is what I experienced… after being in this business 20 years, and dealing with this new way of advertising your business with Groupon. So I now have them send me a photo of their hair recently… the look they are trying to achieve…, and then determine if what they want fits the coupon they bought. So here is what happened with Marie What she wanted was a parital hilite which was fine. Then when she called to confirm her appt. she changed her mind and wanted an ombré which is fine also, but I would have to do later because I had someone booked right after her., and the time slot she was in… was not enough time. I had her send me a photo of her hair… which then I noticed dark brown roots about four inches grown out and pale ends. That would be a color correction. filling ends, rehilighting and toning. Since I have never seen her before. I did not want to put her between my other clients. I wanted to spend one on one time with her. So I said, «I need more time, my next time is in the afternoon.» She flipped out that I did not clear my day for her. So yes she only had one option after her changing her mind, and that meant rescheduling her appt. and yes I had only one opening since I was booked. I was never rude I could just not please her with the time. r Regarding Groupon… I wish they could pre screen people before they sell them salon services because 80% of the time its not just a partial hilite they need more work on their hair, and the customer who bought it does not want to pay it. Guess that is the purpose of Unilocal to let your voice be heard.

Daphne is unprofessional and rude. I bought a groupon and made an appointment with her for Noon on a friday. At 11:30, I texted her to confirm and she said she thought I cancelled and gave me one rescheduling option. She is not only rude and unorganized, but I think her group on is a scam.
