Mia’s Country Kitchen

I used to love this establishment, as I have ate here nearly every Sunday after church for a few years now. On Sunday, March 13^th, I decided to place a to-​go order over the phone instead of dine in at the restaurant. I called in, and I was immediately placed on hold, which is understandable on a busy morning. However, as soon as the woman began taking my order, I told her to give me one moment while I verified what toast my fiancé would like for his breakfast. At this very moment, the girl IMMEDIATELY cut me off and said «CALL ME BACK, I AM VERY BUSY AND DON’T HAVE TIME TO WAIT.» in a very panicked and unprofessional manor. She then proceeded to hang up. I called back a second time with my order, and was placed on hold once again. When the second lady decided to take my order, she asked me a question and I responded with «one moment let me decide which one I want» and she states «Well can you call back when you are ready? I have a line out the door and I can’t sit on the phone!» That is TWO different people who answered the phone that were both completely rude and unprofessional. When I called back to state my disappointment and frustration, the woman on the phone simply responded «well we are very busy today, so that must be why we asked you to call us back.» Nothing else was stated, not even an apology. The blonde lady is always rude and has an attitude, and I am sick of it. I will NEVER return here again. You lost a loyal customer due to your staff’s incompetence, and unwillingness to be patient and take my phone order. Phone order or dine-​in order, both are PAYING CUSTOMERS and deserve the same respect.

It’s been a very long time but I found a breakfast restaurant that I could rave about the food is excellent I give my credit to the cooks will do an exemplary job I’m cooking my food in the main waitress well what can I say she’s one of those people did anne like your sister mother grandmother I’ll roll up the one she’s pretty awesome so next time I go into the restaurant she won’t get me no more being that I’m a senior citizen haha just kidding she’s awesome

Went to go check it out for the first time, love supporting little restaurants and businesses. However did not feel welcome, it’s small and compacted for my liking. I order an omelet was not good at all. I am a sucker for omelets Staff was loud, rude and unfriendly. I Barely did not check up on us. I get its a restaurant but the fact that it’s so small and on weekday morning no reason to be loud and unfriendly. It wasn’t even busy .Also they had our order wrong with someone’s else. When they did they went to the side and started talking about our order, Let me remind u they are loud! And it was over one pancake! They ended charging us for the food that they made mistake on. And once we left paid for our food left a good tip for them they didn’t even say have a good day or bye.

Mia’s County Kitchen was a great find. I will be back to have another great meal again. The hospitality, service, and the great food was outstanding.
I love this place.

We’ve been eating here for 3 years. The food is consistently good, home style cooking, and prices very fair. Portions are quite large. Service is good, and the ladies who waitress have fun personalities. Seriously needs an update in the interior, though. Is very dated, and tacky.

This is my favorite place in town. Get the Cowboy skillet but only if you hungry! Only down side is that they are only open until 2 pm.

This is why, I love this place. Great food with awesome waitresses. I love that they remember, I don’t like onions. Thank you Mia’s.

This place is nasty. The plates are old and grungy. The food sucks and has no flavor. The staff-​omg especially the crazy blonde lady with long hair is by far the rudest server is ever encountered. I don’t recommend this place at all! Go elsewhere! Anywhere else but this place.

I have to say that I love the breakfast but you have to eat there in order to get good service… I have called in the past to order food and I was just left on hold… I thought I would try again today since I haven’t been there in a long time… I called to place an order for breakfast spoke to Vanessa who put the phone down and i was left on the phone for 10 minutes and no one came back to the phone… I was left on the phone ??? I finally hung up… guess I’ll just go and order food from someone who wants my business… very disappointing!

I’ve been here three times and each time I was very happy with the food. The prices are pretty decent too. They are a little picky on the substitutions but other than that it’s been fast and friendly service and good breakfast grub. The French toast and the pancakes are a definite item to try out. And oh God don’t let me forget the home fried potatoes!

My husband and I love this place for breakfast. They have omelets to die for and I have never had a bad thing. The service is good even when busy.

My absolute favorite breakfast spot. I usually get the Chile Verde omelette. So delicious and ridiculously big. More than enough for two people. Try it!

Another wonderful meal. That have set the bar so high that no restaurant can compete. Great staff as always

Great little local kitchen restaurant. We had to sit at the counter but plenty of space and quick service. We both had breakfast and loved it. Wife ordered some homemade biscuits and gravy. I had eggs Benedict and loved it. Great big portions and had plenty of leftovers. Will be going back to enjoy other yummy menu options.

Not bad, better than average food and above average service. small place and very busy for breakfast. Worth the wait though. Eggs Benedict is good as is the chicken fried steak and eggs.

It’s not very often I have a reason to go to Hemet but when I do as today, breakfast at Mia’s is a must. Fine dining, no but great food at a reasonable price? Oh yes!
Today was no exception. What impressed me was the small things. At the counter there is a variety of creamers within reach. A selection of jams from Smuckers neatly arranged by flavor so your favorite is so easy to find you don’t have to think about it. As far as the meal went I ordered the Super Omelet, a tasty variety of ingredients that make your taste buds explode in delight. I almost always go for whatever specialty is offered rather than the run of the mill offerings such as a Denver and no disappointment followed either. Not being restricted to time helped the enjoyment too, much to the delight of the waitress not seeing some grumpy old man again.
I’m sure there are other good establishments in town but every time I am there, it seems as the car is on auto-​pilot to Mia’s front door, or side door depending on the parking spot!

This little hideaway is nice for breakfast. It gets very busy so you may have to wait a little bit! The food is good and a lot like home cooking. The staff is friendly and they are working hard! They stay smiling though!
If you’re looking for a low cost, yet yummy breakfast you should try it.

I came here for work and needed something to eat. I am glad I found this little gem located in the Target plaza.
I had the super omelete, the one with literally everything. Bell peppers, onions, sausage, bacon, ham, chili. It just worked together, everything was delicious.
The service was great, the waitress was very friendly and gave me suggestions on my order.
next time im in hemet, ill stop on by!
