We went back today to give them another shot. We were told a 15 – 20 min wait when there were several tables and booths that were sitting empty. After waiting over 30 minutes I went up to ask how much longer it would be because I had a feeling we were skipped AGAIN, and I was right. They told me I could wait 5 more minutes and they would have a table for me. We walked out and went to Angie’s dinner on Florida and we were sat immediately with no wait. I got a message from the owner apologizing from my last review so that was the only reason I gave them another go. We will NEVER return to this IHOP! I wish I could give no stars!

Came here for breakfast since Denny’s was a dump. Immediately was greeted by the hostess and seated almost immediately. The server could smile more. The food was much better than Denny’s from Lost Hills, CA. We ordered the breakfast sampler and the biscuits and gravy combo. Pretty much everything except my over hard eggs and the biscuits and gravy was good. The gravy tasted burnt. Biscuits had a weird texture. I don’t like how it kept getting stuck to my teeth. I wasn’t too crazy about the taste either. Not bad but not good either. And the eggs were overcooked and rubbery. But, I was starving so I ate them anyways. Hubby was supposed to have 2 bacon strips but only received one. He didn’t want to upset the cook so he didn’t say anything. Overall, much better service from IHOP than Denny’s.

First: the waitress service was so-so, not particulary good or bad. I did think she was way too fast in delivering the check even before we’d finished eating. The thing that I find most off-putting about this IHOP(it may very well pertain to the chain in general) is that in my personal opinion everything on the menus is WAY overpriced — not to mention how they«nickel-and-dime» patrons for every little thing. Let’s face it, the food items that IHOP specializes in – pancakes(which is mainly flour) and eggs — are among the least expensive things in any supermarket. For example, I was amazed at how diners are restricted to choosing either toast *or* hash browns *or* sausage for the breakfast combo. In my experience an American breakfast combination traditionally includes all of the above. I browsed the entire menu — not only breakfast items(which is what I eventually ordered) and the bottom line is that virtually EVERYTHING on the menu was overpriced. I ordered a cheddar omelet and, to my dismay, 90% of the cheese was not inside the purported«omelet» but instead UNmelted shredded cheese — the kind you find in bags hanging in the supermarket — and, frankly, I found that quite unappetizing, as I’d specifically been looking forward to slicing the omelet with a knife and seeing yummy melted cheddar on the inside i.e. where the majority of the cheese is supposed to be in an omelet! Lastly, upon leaving, when paying at the register, no one was initially there to take my money. Then a woman wearing black arrived and — looking directly at the register, not me, while doing so – asked, in a perfunctory, demanding tone, «How was it?» At first, because she wasn’t even looking at me when she said it, I didn’t realize she was speaking to me. She then glanced at me and repeated her question, to which I replied, «Fine!,» not wishing to go into details about any of the above issues or her(probably unknowingly) rather rude behavior. In sum, I feel that IHOP should reconsider its prices OR give the customer more value for their money. The personnel at this particular outlet could also use a bit of a refresher in courtesy/customer relations.

Service was good, food was terrible… Food was all cold when got it. Coffee was good, worth the money. But for two people it shouldn’t of cost 30 $ without tip.

I recently went with my daughter and mother for a quick breakfast after an appointment and unfortunately, it was the worst experience I’ve had at any IHOP. My omelet was cold, they didn’t have sausage, I didn’t get my toast with my meal until after I was full and already disgusted with the cold eggs. The waitress was scarse in my area to even ask to have my issues resolved.

I will ever eat at this Ihop again. Really, never. Service here went to crap, it was a good place to eat some time ago, but no more. I ordered the special, new French toast item. It tasted like it was old. My toast was stale, my eggs and meat were over cooked. I asked if they could split the kids happy face on two plates. Sure thing, we can do that. What they meant was ill bring you an extra plate and you can do it yourself. Seems simple right. If the were to split it I would of had two half funny faces, both with a smile on each. Both would have the same whipped cream and chocolate chips. But now I have two young girls asking why she has more then me. BLAH, I know. Our drinks never got refilled while we were there, in the whole restaurant there was only 2 tables occupied. One just got sat. So really we were the only ones. The manager was on the other side sitting at a table, the only time he can out of hiding was to sit us and to take my money. Very very poor service, very very poor quality!!! TERRIBLEPLACE. Megan is my favorite server. She’s always so attentive and she has a fun sense of humor. I like coming here on a weekend morning and enjoying some breakfast. It’s always good. Sad that they discontinued their Lemon Blueberry pancakes but whatcha gunna do?

Disappointed to many times here with the service. Manager needs to get a handle and this place. We now avoid this place. Rather go hungry.

Just got back from there. It was a good Valentine’s day breakfast. Service was great. Clean table. Food got to us speedy and was on point. My California scrambler had to much onions for my taste but all around was pretty good. Our server maegan was great and helpful.

I think it’s kind of ridiculous this place has an average of 2 stars. Its an IHOP people! This isn’t a fancy restaurant. It’s not the greatest food but you know what? I know that before I order. It’s not going to wow me. But I’ve never had any issues with the service here and the food has somewhat been decent. There has been times where it wasn’t as hot as I would have liked but oh well. They have a lot of choices for breakfast and I like that! Located right off of Sanderson right next to LA Fitness haha. Make me feel like a fatty walking into IHOP jeez.

Well heres my review on the IHOP Here in Hemet. First i walked in after of course seeing there was 5 or 6 cars in the entire lot so my family and I thought it would be a little faster. Were we in for a shock. We was greeted at the door by the hostess and told she will be with us a few minutes. It was ok but the was 40+ tables and all were empty except for 4 tables. Got to be kidding we had to wait. Once we sat down it took our waitress who mind you is the only one working Dont forget 4 tables 3 already had their food. My kids were saying they were hungry. As soon as i started to get up to go get her she came took our drink orders od water and took her 13 min to bring them to us. Now as we r waiting noone came in and 2 tables had left. We placed our orders by the way when the drinks came. With only 3 tables now 47 min later we got the food. Can u believe this. Over an hour to be seated get our drinks and then the food. Only 5 tables and still took this long. I have nothing good to say except the food was okay not good but ok. As for service this is not the place to look for it. If the place was busy I could understand but totally dead. We will not recomend this place to anyone nor r we enticed to return. Commercials r not what u see or seem to be when u come to IHOP. And this a Friday night 11/21/2014 at 7pm

This review is solely based on service I must admit I don’t really think much of IHOP but tonight I walked in to use the restroom sat down to get my dad some free pancakes on Veterans Day and a cup of coffee for myself I was overwhelmed with the niceness and the complete sincerity of our server this is been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at an I hop all thanks to one man who served us on Veterans Day and made my father feel special thank you IHOP you’ve gone above and beyond all expectation tonight.

It seem like this place has gotten worse each time I go, it’s not like before. The food used to be good and the waitress was always very attentive and always smiling now is like they don’t take pride in their food nor service. I post a picture of my burnt sausage and also my hashbrown was a little bit too crispy, if the waitress was nice enough she would of inform me about the sausage and have it replace. I bet she won’t even eat it herself.

When it comes to chains like IHOP and Denny’s, etc. you pretty much know what you are going to get out of these places. Sure they vary from town to town depending on the location, but you’ll never walk in blind. First Impression Walking in, I opened the door for an elderly couple leaving the restaurant and also notice the sign for Senior Night on Wednesdays. Being Hemet, this does not surprise me, as there is still a large population of retirees. Nobody greeted me as I stood in the middle of the waiting area and the hostess looked like she was looking for something to do. Food My choice on this visit was the Hearty Ham and Cheese Omelet with Hash Browns and Pancakes. The Hash Browns were perfect and the Pancakes were good, not great. But the Omelet had something in it that I wasn’t really expecting. After a few more bites I noticed the Omelet had a fourth ingredient. Egg, Cheese, Ham… and Cheese Sauce? I asked the waiter for the menu again, and sure enough… Cheese Sauce. I recommend you take out this item if you are ordering this plate… unless you like waxy cheese flavor in your Omelet. Surroundings. For a late Saturday Morning it was quiet, clean and windows were kicking in that great sunshine in the place. I guess we missed the crazy weekend breakfast rush that I’m used to here. Extra Ask for a side of syrup. Just witnessed a kid«French Kiss» the syrup bottles at his table.
