Lanabri’s Bistro

My wife and I went to the mall just to visit this place since her sister said it was a good place to dine. When we walked in the door we were a little disappointed by the set up. You place your order at a counter then have a seat and they bring it out to you. The decoration and tables are very simple. There were only a couple of people inside and this was at 3:30 on a Saturday. This mall is just dead and not many decent stores. I ordered fried catfish dinner my wife bbq pork steak dinner we both had sweet tea. When the girl brought the tea to our table we took a couple of sips and both determined it was very bad. We sent it back and asked for Pepsi. It took a while for the food but that was ok I know they have to cook it. My catfish was very good and seasoned, the mac & cheese and candie yams were just ok. The pork steak was very chewy with lots of fat, my wife did’nt eat most of it. Her corn was good and yams ok. There were lots of pictures of desert around the counter so we asked what deserts they had, the answer was none. I will probably give this place another try and stick to the basics like fish or chicken. They need to figure out what they want to do with this place to many things going on. Prices were good for what we got.

This Restaurant has some awesome food! I have tried several different meals from here and i have not been dissatisfied yet! However, there is an issue with portion consistency. The amount of food given depends on who is working at the time. I believe if this issue is corrected, and if there were more dessert choices available, this restaurant would be even more successful. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves southern food, catfish, and amazing varieties of cheese fries.

It’s a family establishment, and everyone is friendly. They are a small kept secret for the st louis county area, with an exceptional menu. I have brought my family in several times, all 6 of us (3 adults and 3kids) ate for $ 42. The big variety on the menu keeps me coming back trying new options. I have tried all the 15 different wing flavors, lemon parmesan is by far my favorite. The house seasoning they put on the fries shoud be packaged and sold in grocery stores. If you are looking for fresh food on a budget, this is your go to place. The average wait is 12−18min, which is awesome for dine in. Ohhhh dont let me forget about the southern food, baked mac n cheese, smoked turkey collard greens and fried cat fillet, is top notch.

There are very few choices for good food at St. Louis Outlet Mall but this is one. Its a small family owned place and while it is not the fanciest décor the food is outstanding. The service is also very good although because they only usually have one cook and things are made fresh it does take some time. That being said it is well worth the wait. The lemon pepper chicken wings have a wonderful lemon pepper seasoning on them. No not a sauce just seasoning and the fries are crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. I appreciate that. The pork fritter sandwich is good as well and is not over breaded. The burgers are also fresh and in all the times we have been here have never had a bad meal. I love places that cook food fresh rather than chains that take short cuts. I hope they are around for many years to come.

Family and I was at the Stlouis Outlet Mall (formally known as the Mills Mall) the other evening, and we notice a great place in that mall to eat call the «Lanabri’s Bistro». Customer Service was excellent — We placed our order right at the bar, and the atmosphere felt like a home feeling, it was a great feeling. While you wait, you can listen to music or play a game of pool. Truly a great place to eat, and the food was very good. Great place to hang out and get some good comfort food. We were walking in the mall, hungry and ready for something to eat when we saw the sign for this establishment. We stopped, looked at the menu and pictures posted outside the door and thought this looks like a neat new place to try. So, we went in to have a bite to eat. Bad decision, we should have kept walking. We ordered chicken wings and a pork fritter sandwich. 35 minutes later, we finally got food. What a disappointment! My husband likes garlic, so he asked for extra on his Garlic Parmesan chicken wings. He got chicken wings with a lot of powder dumped on top of them. Not at all what he expected. In fact, he had to knock off the powder just so he could eat the wings! I have no words to describe the pork fritter sandwich, but I definitely do not recommend it. At least the french fries were hot. We try not to judge a restaurant based on a sample size of one, but given the lack of value and the amount of time it took to get a simple order, we will not be returning.
