Haven’t been to a Bob Evans in a few years. Sat at counter and got great service from Kevin. I had the 3 course meal deal. The potato soap was one of the thickest I’ve ever had. The chicken fried steak was very good. The mash potatoes were very good. Almost too many. The chocolate sundae that came with the meal was very good and the right size. Good choice for families. Enjoyed it.

The Sunshine Skillet —- $ 8.49 —-… An open-faced omelet filled with crumbled Bob Evans Sausage and home fries, topped with country gravy and shredded cheddar cheese. Served with your choice of freshly baked bread. Seriously !!!(SEEPHOTOS that I posted) I admit that I ordered this to go, so I didn’t expect to get the«skillet dish» that it is normally served in, BUT really… giving it to me in a «to go» container that is generally used for a side dish. Then to have the nerve to give me the included«freshly baked bread» in a full size«to go» container… was insult to injury. BTW… the extra cup of gravy cost $ 2.69. On another note: «freshly baked bread» Ha!!! these biscuits are more«freshly thawed, reheated, mass produced, tasteless, imitation biscuits.» Needless to say… My opinion of cost vs value /BULL*#@T

Bob Evans has been our go to breakfast for years… They usually have a nice crowd but most of the time your food comes out fast and hot once they finally get to you. My only complaint is how long it takes the servers to get to you once you are seated. I understand that it gets busy here but someone should at least come by to bring water/coffee once u have been seated. Other than that we really like the food here at bob Evans.

Very good lunch and desert menu. Got the apple pie to go! Had the pot roast sandwich and chicken soup, excellent!

This is a great restaurant my family enjoyed for about four nights of our five night trip to St. Louis. Excellent family restaurant — clean and great ambiance. Nice huge parking lot. For the love of everything holy, if you want a quiet restaurant do not go to Olive Garden across the street, huge mistake! Bob Evans is so much nicer! Hot food, quiet atmosphere during the lunches and dinners we visited on, and fairly good service. Service was a little spotty with different servers, and with other servers it was great! Cold, crisp salads, well cooked steaks just like I asked, the chicken pot pie is fantastic! The only thing I found lackluster out of four nights was the French toast. I make it better at home. Then they put that syrupy peach mess on top and it was overkill and nasty. I removed 99% of it with my spoon and asked them to remove the charge for the peach mess. Get those green beans with ham, they’re super good! My son LOVED those mozzarella sticks that are made into spirals! The only other thing that was a super letdown was the sundaes, very boring. Tasted like soft serve with cold chocolate sauce on. I wanted ice cream with hot fudge and would have paid more for real ice cream and HOT fudge. Oh well. Can’t win them all. Buy the gift card($ 30 min I think) and you get a free dessert box or some offer like that. It was worth it for us. LOVETHEIRCOFFEE — hot damn, it was good, but they can be a little stingy with it. Ask them to bring out a carafe!

Yuck. Extremely lackluster food that took forever to prepare, and even worse service. There were 4 other occupied tables in the restaurant that I could see. Come on now. I had some kind of chicken sandwich and it was downright nasty. Mac and cheese was ok, and they need to clean the lines on their soda machine. And what waitress asks, «what do you want» when I haven’t even set my menu down yet(to indicate that I’m *gasp* done looking at it) and/or had 3 minutes to look at it? C’mon now. The entire time I waited for my food, I heard the waitstaff, cook, and manager bitching and moaning to each other. Not good. I won’t be back.

BE was very busy when we visited but the service was good and quick. The waitress forgot our fruit cup but set it up for us in a to go cup so all was good. Food was food, fresh and tasty and with a RetailmeNot coupon we got one of our entrees free. Coffee was very good as well. Typically Bob Evans good quality and service.

This was my first time going to a Bob Evan’s. I seem to remember a joke, maybe from South Park, about senior people gathering like hoodlums at Bob Evan’s. That was clearly not a joke, I was probably the youngest person in the place. Three things stood out to me… First the food was quick and the waitress was attentive. Second, no matter how many times I asked for no tomato on my food, I still receive tomato(this was a theme everywhere I ate in St Louis). Third, and most bizarre, the mens restroom had a lock on the inside of the door. This was not a single person restroom. Perhaps the senior hoodlum reference was not to far off. Why would they need a lock on the inside of door? Maybe it’s where they wheel and deal their various life sustaining medications? Who knows… It was OK, along the lines of a Denny’s or IHOP.

The food is good for a fast food service breakfast. The help was more than helpful. They checked in every so often to see how are you doing but not being pushy. But, it was instant food there, was nothing prepared. It all came out the freeze. .?) Next? m

Our waitress was terrific! The manager was great! Living in SC, we haven’t seen a Bob Evans in years, and decided to go since we had a coupon. I can’t think of a single thing to complain about. I would love to go back again.
