This was my first time at a Waffle House, it kind of reminded me of a Dennys but with a better menu. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner not just waffles! Jess, my waitress was super nice and took the time to explain what grits were as well as the difference between city ham and country ham. She even gave me a sample of grits to see if I liked them(I did!). Great food, awesome prices and a very friendly and funny staff.

This was my first Waffle House experience after hearing so many friends rave about the breakfast restaurant. As far as breakfast-oriented chains go, this one’s pretty good. Our server was very kind and helpful. I had a pecan waffle and split some biscuits and gravy with Mr. Fearless. I enjoyed the peppery taste of the gravy and especially liked the texture of the biscuits. It did not take long to get our food after ordering. The location and bathrooms were clean, and the price for what you order is quite good.

I want to start by saying it’s pretty bad when a lady walking out said«don’t tip any of them». We went in and ALL the workers are sitting in the corner, it took us a min to find a seat why because all the seats are dirty(nobody was there). Once we were seated someone came over to get our order. We got our food and everything was right, but as soon as their jobs were done back to the corner. Only came back over to take our dirty plates. I probably won’t come back to this one I will stick to my Dorset one. Just a tip they should keep the cussing down. 9÷26÷14 at 10:55

I hadn’t been to a Waffle House in years, but found myself at this particular location last weekend for lunch. If you’ve never been, I’d recommend checking one out sometime. You can usually find a Waffle House located near a highway exit in most parts of the United States; they are particular good for late night post-drinks when there aren’t many other options. The menu is geared towards breakfast with a variety of waffles, omelets, bacon, hash browns etc., but they also serve sandwiches, burgers, melts, steaks, chili and salads. At this location, I tried the bacon cheesesteak sandwich on Texas toast and a side of hash-browns. The sandwich was a good-olé greasy spoon type of sandwich loaded with beef, bacon, cheese, onions and all that fatty goodness. The hash-browns can be made to order with extras thrown in. I added onions and jalapenos, but was rather disappointed in my creation. Maybe I should just stick to the traditional next time. The service was friendly, fast and efficient. The place was crowded and the employees seemed to have a good work ethic. Go if you’ve never been to one, or if you’re looking for consistently reliable basic breakfast items. Otherwise you might be better off finding something else. 3 stars when compared to other«chain» restaurant breakfast places.
