Not bad at all. I tried the Turkey Pesto sandwich, with oven roasted turkey. Also tried their Minestrone soup. Both were surprisingly very good. I wasn’t sure what to expect, by looking around the actual location. But again, very good. Their staff was smiling and chatting away with customers. Very friendly little place. I will definitely be back to try their other items.

A solid go-to establishment for a good sandwich. They have a large selection of both hot and cold sandwiches –my favorite is the reuben; you really cannot go wrong with it. I was surprised Pop’s existed here, because of the area it is in … it blends in with its neighboring buildings. Glad I found it though. Oh, and call in advance if you’re ordering several sandwiches! Saves everyone time, and frustration because the weekday lunch crowd can be in full force!

I’m not sure how this place has 4 stars. It’s clearly only still in business because it’s in an industrial neighborhood with few to no other options around. The sandwich was okay but the service was horrendous. They made my sandwich incorrectly and when I noticed, the person who made my sandwich tried to blame the mistake on me. Luckily, another employee was willing to redo my sandwich, but she seemed begrudging about it. Overall, the employees were rude with bad attitudes. And the also ask for a tip when you pay, despite providing little/bad service! The venue itself was also pretty depressing. A spacious room with tables and a few TV’s on the wall. Seemed just as industrial as the neighborhood. Won’t be back.

First timer here. Sandwhich selection was on point, food tasted fresh and they went out of their way to answer my first timer questions. I came here really hungry and although the food was good I feel as if I could have gotten just a little more bang for my buck. tl;dr Food was great, would eat here again.

Came to visit a business across the street and was recommended this place by a employee. It’s pretty good spot with fast service.

My favorite is the Turkeycado on a dutch crunch with oven roasted turkey. I brought my coworkers here and they all loved it. My only complaint and the reason why I only gave them 4 stars is because some of the girls that make the sandwiches are a little ghetto. Apart from that this is a great place for a quick lunch.

This little gem is slightly hidden in an industrial area but food is delish and tastes fresh! A clean deli and a good variety of menu choices… Pop’s Deli gets very busy during lunch hours but the staff is quick, efficient and friendly so you never are waiting too long!

Pop’s deli staff are always nice and attentive. The owner is very sweet and always has my catering set up and ready to go. Sandwiches are good too. But my opinion is a good staff can make a place. Definitely worth a stop here.

This is not a Deli. In a deli, I can see the meat showcased. This is a convenience food mart, without the groceries. Microwaved food. I dont know why establishments describe themselves as something they are not.

the first time I came here I was craving a fresh sandwich and I didn’t want to go to your average subway or togos. I Unilocaled Deli’s and this deli popped up. so I thought I’d give it a try, my first experience there I notice the outstanding customer service, there’s this young woman by the name of Angelica I think, and she was amazing. she was very knowledgeable, outgoing, kind and helpful. her customer service is not at all robotic, she is sincere. they have very good food that’s within my budget. if I could, id give them 5 more stars… don’t judge a book by its cover, don’t knock anything before you try, otherwise you could miss out on a great experience. thanks you Pop’s Deli and staff for my all my visits there comfortable.

Cool little deli, good service. Sandwiches are good and they have a lot to choose from. Staff is friendly and the space is pretty large too. It’s kind of a hidden spot in the middle of an industrial area.

I randomly put deli on Unilocal and pop’s deli was what i went with and I’m happy I made that decision. Good food & Best customer service from I believe their names were Sonia and Luna. Go check them out!

Was brought to this place by my boss when I initially got hired and have been a regular ever since. When I first came here I had no expectations, looked like your typical sandwich deli, and with being in SF for so long with the best sandwiches I didn’t think these would even come close, I was wrong. For just $ 6 you get a filling, savory, great sandwich no matter what you choose. My favorites are the turkeycado, wildsteer and ensenada. The meats taste fresh and the ingredients never lack taste. Really impressed with this deli and the work they do, if your in the area I highly recommend stoping by for lunch!

Was craving a sandwich and after Unilocaling for a sandwich spot, I found this place. I got La Ensenada Sandwich: Filet of chicken, special jalapeño pepper sauce and melted Monterey jack cheese on a French roll. The French roll was very good, the filet of chicken was very dry, not sure about the jalapeño pepper sauce because the sandwich was smothered in what looked to be like mayonnaise. I love mayonnaise but this was just too much. The line was long, but workers moved quickly. I’d come back and try something different.

They’re open Monday– Friday till 4 and closed on the weekends. It gets really busy during lunch time. I’ve gone here 3 times in two weeks because the sandwiches are outstanding! I got the turkeycado sandwich(with DELI turkey — you can choose deli or the thanksgiving kind of turkey) then added mayo, cheese, and cranberry sauce) — so good and they don’t skimp out on the avocado either. Everything on the sandwich is fresh! Love this place. It’s spacious and clean and the employees are friendly and work quick. I will continue to come here since it’s so much cheaper than City Bistro. They even give a sandwich card so every 11th sandwich is free. I like coming to a local business over Subway or Quiznos.

This is a mom’s and pop’s sandwich shop in Union City/Hayward. it was pretty hard to find because it is in the same plaza/building as all the offices around there — seriously blends in. We had to make a U-turn a few times because we couldn’t find it. i got the Cesar chicken sandwich($ 5) and it was DEEEEELICIOUS! my coworker said the same thing about his sandwich too! the prices is about the same if you were to go to Andersen’s Bakery. But this place is still a bit too far for me to go during lunch hours. The deli is really spacious and clean. They have the big flat screen tvs on and it seems like a good place to watch the game.
