It’s convenient, but the price of the braids are expensive, and you don’t get a lot in the pack, also the store is so crowded, it’s hard to find what you’re looking for.

It’s an okay quality needing some extensions for last minute the lady was very honest about the product I bought. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes

I’ve been coming here since I was a young girl. Its a really great store and the people who work there are AMAZINGLY friendly. They literally have everything and anything you would ever need for your hair. Prices are average. Not expensive, but not extremely inexpensive. My only concern would have to be the clutter. There’s hair EVERYWHERE! like seriously? if there were an earthquake, there’d be some trouble… but other than that, Go for it!

I have been shopping here for years to by my lashes, and the owners are very polite and friendly and always remember me. I went in last night for the first time to buy hair. I am new to extensions, but quite seasoned in processing wefts, and I do know how to measure/​cut/​sew in clips to create a well-​made set of clip-​in extensions. I was on a tight budget, which was unfortunate. I had a very long talk with the owner about my spending limits and what I needed. I have white-​platinum blonde hair (bleached) and needed about a 22″-24″ bundle of straight or light wave, and it didn’t matter what color it was because I can bleach any hair color to a #60 platinum on my own, provided it is genuinely VIRGIN, 1005 HUMAN hair. I was promised this was exactly what I was getting, and that the hair would easily bleach to the color I need. I settled for 18″ wefts and spent $ 40 over my budget after he graciously gave me a 10% discount.
So why the low rating? I was sold BLENDED, PARTIALLY SYNTHETIC, NON-​VIRGIN, PRE-​PROCESSED HAIR THAT HAS BEEN DYED! The bleaching process has produced tons of disgsusting greenish hued goo sliming out of the hair as it lightens. The 2^nd process of the 1^st 2 2″ wefts to attempt to get to the right shade of yellow to tone it literally MELTED the hair in under 10 minutes. Even that destroyed pair of wefts still had several BLACK strands in it with zero damage from the blended synthetic hair.
I was completely ripped off. I will be returning to see if the owner will refund me for the obviously falsely advertised «100% virgin 100% human brazilian» hair marketed as totally processable etc etc etc when it was very clear this is what I needed. I have consulted with many professionals who have assured me the photos I have shown them are disturbing at best, and no «virgin» hair should ever produce this green residue oozing from the bleach.
As if it isn’t bad enough they are not likely to refund me, I guarantee I am simply out on the expensive Redken lightening powder I used, not to mention the developer, the box of gloves, the box of foils, and the electricity bill from running a bonnet hair dryer for 4 hours. I’m not giving up yet, and still plan to attempt to tone with wella t18, but my expectations are pretty low at this point, and I’ll never get back these hours of my life I could have spent doing anything else.

I first found out about this store when I moved to Castro Valley and was tired of commuting all the way to San Francisco Fillmore Beauty Supply to get hair. This place is located in a nice decent plaza, near Sally’s Beauty Supply and Rent-​A Center. Parking is never bad when I come, I usually get a park right in front of the store.
This place is owned by Chinese and at first when I came I used to stay giving them attitude because as soon as you walk in they stare at you and watch your EVERY move! Ugh that BOTHERED me! WTF excuse me sir I just came to see what your store has to offer I don’t want to steal from you so don’t trip!
After a while of coming here they started to ease up a little. I was despite to find a good person to do my hair and the owner here was nice to give me a salon close by my house and recommended her to me. I have to admit she is amazing and I have been going to her every since.
I have to admit with other Unilocalers and say don’t be surprised walking in here because YES! Hair is everywhere! Its cluttered but I like it because it gives me a lot of choices to choose from.
I have noticed that their hair is expensive from most stores and online. I usually come here and find some hair that I want and then do research and buy it online. I ONLY buy hair here if its VERY needed. If not I go online and can get it $ 40-​$ 80 cheaper.
Not only do they sell hair but they also sale nice earrings as well! This is by far the BEST beauty supply that I have seen in the city of Hayward.

I was misled into buying cheaper hair when I asked specific questions regarding the shedding and ability to use heat tools on it. I would have gladly spent more money to get decent hair. Instead my questions were answered falsely and my hair lasted at max one month. I’m not saying they don’t have good hair at this place, but I am saying they are willing to be dishonest if they think they might make a sale.

There’s literally hair everywhere. I went with my cousin to buy her hair extensions while I waited. The owners are pretty nice and we had a good conversation. They were pretty funny and making jokes even though I wasn’t their exact customer demographic haha.
They also helped out my cousin choose what fits on her hair. I don’t know much stuff about these hair extensions and beauty stuff but from a customer’s perspective they were really helpful.
We went a 2^nd time a few weeks later and to my surprise they even remembered us which is good. They have so much stuff that its all over the place but if you need anything just ask them. According to my cousin their prices were unbeatable which is why she keeps returning here and tagging me along. Jeez! :)

The previous reviews are what lead me to this place. Great find and definitely a keeper. I traveled from Dublin to Hayward and found this place to be worth the quick drive down 580. Prices were good and the next time I braid my hair I will for certain go here, they have every kind of hair you can imagine!

ZOMG. Synthetic hair, human hair, hair on a track, clip ins, enclosures, wigs, yellow extensions, blue extensions, braiding hair, Rasta-​Afri hair, curly hair, straight hair, kanekalon hair, kinky curly hair… you name it they’ve got it.
The problem? This place is cluttered like a hoarder’s house!!! I almost lost my mind walking in there. I reached for a package and a kanekalon braid fell on my dome, er, head. I took pics because the state of this joint is unreal.
I asked for help and got it. The Rasta-​Afri hair I needed for my Senegalese twists was $ 2.99/per bag. They had color #3 which was amazing! My hair isn’t quite a #2 and #4 is too reddish/​light, so I’ve always had to choose between the two or get both and have my braider mix them in.
If you need African-​AMerican beauty supply products, this is the place.

HAIR… Everywhere! They got the best lashes in town! & to top it off they get good accessories too!
