I’d never actually seen these two food genres combined. How good could it be I queried. Well, as I turns out, it’s pretty darn good. The green salsa served with the chips was so addicting that I even used it instead of wasabi. My husband loved his camarones Diablo y ajo. My mouth is still on fire, but we give this dining experience two thumbs up.

Nice place for seafood and drinks, sushi is tasty and tangy different from usual rolls but this fusion is interesting. I highly recommend the mango roll which is on their top picks by customers. The tacos are delicious specially tacos governador which is a shrimp and vegetable taco on melted cheese. The reason I am not giving them five stars is the ceviche. The plate was well presented, however the taste wasn’t as great. I had to ask for lemons and red unions to improve taste of the ceviche. In addition, the quality of the shrimp could have been better as far as cleanness. This is the usual inconvenience from most spots. Service was impeccable, waitresses smiling and frequently asking if anything else was needed. Our waitress came over more times than the needed which was pleasing since often happens vise-versa. The micheladas is great perfect for a hot summer day, also to mention this place has fair prices for seafood.

I love coming here i am a regular customer and i like my usual server. but i went recently and i was dissapointed in the staff. The waitress was disrespectful to me and when my husband needed a new beer we had to chase her down to get one. I will not be coming back unfortunately i just dont feel comfortable anymore. Even if the food is good people want customer service and it was terrible yesterday.

Love coming here when I am by the airport. Micheladas on point and so are their ceviche de pescado. On weekend nights there’s karaōke and some of the client have some sweet voices to them.

This place is amazing. I constantly go everytime I can but their dishes are very tasteful. I would recommend their sushi, particularly dodgers sushi also a dish camarones culichi might be a bit spicy but if you like a little kick it’s great also can ask with beams with that. I have went there several times and never disappointed.

They only had one salsa, and the salsa they had was green and too sour, they added way too much lemon in the salsa. Their fish tacos were good but I’ve had better. I tried a California roll and it was good, the roll was stuffed with lots of crab. The micheladas are good. They had good service.

Stopped by after driving they this place for so long. Glad I came by I was starving and the service and the food were real good. Spicy but good. And the michelada was very tasty, just right. I will definitely be coming back very soon. My son loves the food too and he’s picky with seafood.

Great sushi BUT, they’ve messed up on so many orders of mine. I called last time about my order(40 sushi special) and the waitress told me she’d credit me for something on my next order. I tried to tell the person taking my order today and the manager said she wouldn’t honor me anything because she had no note of the incident. Also, my family and I came in for lunch a while ago and the waitress charged us 8 dollars extra on the bill for her tip which is ridiculous because we would’ve tipped anyways. How was she not embarrassed to do that? Never eating here again. If you’re going to order make sure you get what you asked for. When this place was Samurai Sals it was a lot better!

This is my second time here. I didnt write a review the first time i was here because i thought i would give it another chance. The first time i came i had the sushi special. They put wayyy too much sauce on all the sushi and i couldnt enjoy the roll. This second time i came i order the coctel de camaron and my boyfriend ordered ceviche mixto. The ceviche was really standard, nothing special about nontheless: good. My coctel is a 1⁄5. Very flavorless. The color of it was clear unlike usual coctel. It really just tasted like camaron water and cucumber and lemon. Kinda gross after a while. The salsa that they give you for chips very very very lemon-ie. Will not be coming back. i give a 2⁄5 for the decent customer service.

What a jewel and a surprise! Visiting LA briefly and we’re looking for a place to eat near the airport. We had ceviche roja and a couple rolls(sorry, can’t remember the names) and it was AHHHHHMAZING. Service was good and the prices weren’t scary. Easy on-street parking at the time we went. Definitely recommend!

This is the perfect place to grab a few hand rolls during a breakneck drive to the airport. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking — «Why take the extra time for takeout when you can just eat at the airport?» My response is «because airport food is garbage and it shouldn’t be fed to people.» Anyhow, the eel hand roll is very good and so are other ones which I also had.

It’s a Mexican/Sushi restaurant with karaōke. I thought it was crazy when I first heard about it, but as always willing to try. Strictly there for the sushi and beers we stumbled in around 9pm to loud karaōke, unexpected but cool. Looks like the owner would sing a song or two and she would take turns with the customers male and female singing in Spanish and English. Good atmosphere everyone was enjoying and clapping. Now about the food. Most memorable was the lobster tail, it was well prepared and had a good taste to it. The rest of the sushi was fresh as well, I won’t say that it was great either, but you should know the prices are very fair and they offer a wide variety of choices. Now the alchohol is pretty good price point and the well drinks are done well.

This place is awesome I came here for the very first time. In my opinion Chuy’s #2 is better than the original they offer more than just mariscos, they also have a wide selection of sushi and cerveza. Jenny the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The rainbow roll was pretty good and you can’t go wrong with the ceviche de camaron. I haven’t tried the other items on menu but I’ll definitely be back.

The waitress are always very friendly super nice and great sense of humor, they’re great. They have karaōke on Friday nights, it’s pretty fun even if you don’t sing, like me lol. Great place to bring your friends for dinner or lunch, although it may get a little noisy at times especially if you go on Karaōke night. I love to order sushi here, the taste is definitely 5 stars! I’ve also tried their other seafood plates, all taste so good! Love that place, the food here is awesome. I recommend the food from this place!

2 stars only. For starters, i thought this place would be great due to the reviews, walking distance from my job, and who doesn’t love seafood. Walking in it was not at all crowded at all and i came here on a Thursday during lunch hours. the place is pretty clean and the waitress greeted me and my friends right away. HOWEVER, once more people started coming the waitress was no where to be found, for she was the ONLY one working the floor and long story short we were late clocking back in for work, due to the lack of promptness receiving the bill and waiting for her to acknowledge us being done. Now the food. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla, which comes with a side of fries or rice, and my friends both ordered the sushi… it all was pretty good BUTNOTWORTHTHE $$$! 17.88 i paid for my meal. can you believe that?! 17 dollars for a quesadilla, french fries, and a bottled coke. normally i wouldn’t mind, if the food is at LEAST decent, but in this case it was not at all worth the money. I will not be back here. very disappointed. DEFINITIONOF A WASTEOFTIMEANDMONEY!

There is some vagueness in the menu, we got a plate called Empapelado de mariscos, although it was very tasty I think it’s a huge rip off for 23.95. At the top of the plate, it says«la Mayoria de Platos se sirven con Arroz y ensalada/most of the dishes are served with rice and salad». It doesn’t say anything about what dishes, so don’t assume the plate you’re getting comes with the rice. For 23.95 we assumed it did but nope. Also, we were having to stand up to order things because the waitress was no where to be found. We ended up ordering rice to go with the plate but by the time we got to order and by the time the rice came we were practically done. And the rice sucked on top of that! It was super bland. Nada de sabor. The last straw was when they didn’t have anymore negra modelos. The waitress at the karaōke was on point though lol I’ll give the restaurant that too
