The ONLY reason for 4 stars is the CO OWNER/​MGR MATT he’s great very customer service oriented and the quality of his willingness to help your situation as much as he can is what lacks in most businesses today… then they want to blame the «community» or the «white man» when their business fails instead of blaming the poor and lack of good service well like i told Matt the ONLY reason ill continue to give his shop my business is because of him along with the good wheel alignment i received his father/​owner of the shop seems to be under a very old school Primus that the customer need the business more than the business (this day amd age) need the customer more… the «Senior» owner needs to be alot more humble and gracious that in an area with auto repair shops&wheel alignment shops on every corner (and good ones) he need to be more appreciative&flexible in his business practices especially when he charges a bit more than the estimates I’ve gotten for wheel alignment service most places charge $ 60-​$ 65 he charges $ 70(for my particular vehicle that is) i went to his shop on a fluke not because i necessarily wanted to or because he was my first choice it was convienant more than want as i was going to go to my regular alignment place GARDENA BEAR ALIGNMENT ON CRENSHAW but d&d was closer to where id purchased my new tires as i didnt want to drive on them too much w/​o alignment so MATT keep up the great job &wonderful customer service and i hope his father «gets a clue» …

I take my cars here all the time. It’s really hard to find a good mechanic these days. They are honest and work fast. I recommend this place for anything from oil changes to heavy engine work. They treat everyone really well. I was recommended to them by my old mechanic who retired. Now that says something. Ask for Ralph.

Lately I’m going frequently to a «five stars hotel» to meet a friend and have great time. Unfortunately a week ago my car started to make a rare noise when I turned right or left. I have no knowledge about cars, so I decided to take it to D&D Shell Service. When I got there the mechanic told me that he had to check my car, so I asked how much it was going to cost me. He said he didn’t know, he had to check it out first. After they checked it they said they had to replace one long piece-​I don’t remember the name of that expensive metal piece– and that would cost me 490 dollars and I said: «OMG». I asked him if that could wait for at least one more month, but they said I should do it that day. I flirted a little bit with the guy trying to get a discount, but I couldn’t get any this time (I’ve gotten some discount before). Then, they said I had to leave my car at that place and I thought I can’t, I had to go to my «friend’s hotel». Anyway I left my car, they did the job and I finally could go to see my friend. At D&D Shell Service they fix your car very well and it’s cheaper compare with other body shop or any dealer. The guys are very nice and efficient. Also, they gave me a warranty for one year for that job.
