We shared a pulled pork cornbread sandwich with slaw, okra, and green beans. Everything was hot and flavorful! Service behind the counter and in the dining room was very good, prompt and efficient too. Just what we needed, thank you!

Really like the pulled pork. Comes on bun with onion and pickle. I’ve eaten here numerous times. Waffle fries are good also. And the BBQ sauce is pretty good too. Good sweet tea. Not sure if they have pork ribs at this one but the one in Jackson, Ms does. They were pretty good. Brisket was pretty dry though.

First I have to say it’s clean, quick & friendly service. However the BBQ was dry(even with sauce!).not tender, & the sides food-servicey!

First of all, this place is located behind David’s Bridal shop next to the Turtle Creek Mall. Turn at the Chick-fil-A on Hwy 90. Google maps is wrong! Dickey’s BBQ started in Dallas, TX in 1941. I first tried them there and I am glad to see they are making their way into Mississippi. There is this one in Hattiesburg and one down in Laurel. The BBQ is outstanding! It is very flavorful and not overly smokey. The brisket will melt in your mouth! They have a good number of side dishes, sandwhiches, and serve your own soft drinks. The décor is casual and family friendly. Service is top notch. While the prices are not low(this is not fast food), I think they are very reasonable. Full plate dinners with a drink will run about $ 15; no more than most casual dining places.
