Powell’s Clambar & Grill

I’ve been here a few times now and I think the food is great, but the service really surprised me. The servers were very rude to my friend and I. It was unenjoyable which stinks because the food is so good!

Great Place to eat, friendly staff, great environment

Very Nice Local Place. If it is a nice day out, the patio in front is a nice little spot to sit & eat with very light traffic out front so not to annoy you. Parking is convenient, either the 5 spots they have on the side or on the street. It says «Clambar» but the burgers and chicken there are good too.
Only 2 complaints,
Number 1– This is more of a takeout spot than anything, you can eat outside on the patio ONLY if its nice out, they have a counter inside with stools to sit and eat at, but not a lot of elbow room. The area with the sun room would be great on chilly or cold days to eat in, unfortunately they use it for their business office.
Number 2-​MOST of the meals dont automatically come with fries, you have to remember to ask for them.

Love going here for lunch when the weather is nice and you can sit out front. Food usually good and the portions are ample. Very «local» place and the staff get to know you and greet you like you are pals. Casual and serves all the standards. Burgers, wraps, & sandwiches good. A good standby joint for us. Could be a little more consistent in quality but that would be the only demerit, if there was one. Try the hot dog special — well worth the price and quick & easy.
