*** edit: an employee from this business also insulted me after writing the below review but I don’t think proper nail and customer care has anything to do with customer patience. I just moved here from out of town and really hope all places aren’t like this. Totally unacceptable to ignore then also insult a customer later.***
Came to get shellac manicure.
Had shellac on my nails and was told there was no wait … Had me soak my nails in a bowl of acetone but did not file the top coat (which you must do before soaking) so after waiting 15 minutes soaking and drying out my skin (no impact on the shellac) without anyone coming over to check my nails or me, I just left. Maybe people have had great experiences (which is why I came reading the reviews) but seemed very inexperienced to me/​just will tell you they have no wait to get business even if you end up waiting forever for service. Use with caution.

I have definitely found my go-​to nail place in Harker Heights. I tried a previous nail place here and the work was way overpriced for the quality. I needed a great gel mani that would last me more than 3 days so based on the reviews, I gave this place a try. First impression when I walked in was that it was pretty spacey and not crowded like other places I’ve been so far in TX. I made an appointment but I showed up about 20 mins early and they took me immediately. As for the actual paint job, it’s probably the best I’ve ever had. The polish lasted me about two weeks looking just as fresh as the day I walked out. The pricing is average and adequately priced considering the great job. They offer you a complimentary beverage right on the spot as soon as you sit down (they’ve got a completely stocked wine bar). I felt comfortable and they took their time with me.

Two stars for the friendly staff and being offered a beverage, no stars for the nails. The nail tech was very nice but way too aggressive with the tools and rushed even though there wasn’t anyone in the salon waiting and I had an appointment. They look alright at first glance, but right when I got home I noticed one nail that had blood painted underneath the top coat, yes blood, and several nail beds that were also cut and not cleaned properly. The tips they used were too small for most of my nails and just look sloppy. My cuticles were not taken care of at all and were left a mess, and the oil didn’t help at all. I would have gone back to have them redone but I need them for an event tomorrow and don’t trust them to touch them anymore. Really bummed that this is one of the most highly rated places in Killeen because I won’t be back. Pictures will be posted for reference.

I’m once again blown away with this place. The people are amazing. I make is a point to stop in every 2 weeks. They’ve become like family. In the picture for this salon are some of a lady whom claims they have messed her nails up. I noticed that she did not post an actual review. It is obvious that the damage was done after she left the salon. I bring family and friends here often. That will not change. Best salon I’ve EVER been to.

Have been in Harker Heigts for a couple of months and had given up hope on finding a nail salon that I would like. Saw the positive reviews on Unilocal and decided to check this place out with my mom. Holy cow, amazing! The stuff was the most friendly stuff I think I have ever experienced. Constantly offering beverages, asking if we were comfortable and just overall super nice. They even offer free wine, soda and water to customers, we don’t drink wine but I thought that was a great extra treat for those who enjoy it. My two-​year-​old son was with me, and they were all so loving and nice to him. Mom also got her brows done, and they look great! Prices were very affordable for the quality. Will definitely be back!

Why did it take me so long to find this salon? I walked in yesterday to a full salon but I was greeted by the owner right away. I went in for a pedicure and new set of solar nails. The salon seemed spotless! The owner was constantly cleaning in between customers and checking to see if anyone needed anything to drink — complimentary beer, wine and non alcoholic drinks! My pedicure was awesome and my new set turned out perfect! You get what you pay for and nothing less! I’ll definitely be going back!

The owner of this place is just an amazing super sweet guy. Small shop but very clean and staff is really nice. Great services. I got a pedi and waxing which were really great! They also serve complimentary beer, wine, and non alcoholic drinks. Definitely will be going back!

Kuku, Sunny, Winson… whatever his name is… is the rudest nail tech. Let him serve you a beverage but DO NOT LET HIM TOUCH YOUR NAILS. His aggressive behavior is overwhelming and uncalled for. I use to appreciate going to the salon until I let him do my nails and the entire time he was filing my skin and yelling at his workers. When I came back to show him the nails had lifted, he went off on me. Had he took the time to take care of me the first time, I would have not had to go back or write this terrible review. He begs everyone to rate him on Unilocal.Do yourself a favor and get better customer service elsewhere. This place is a joke.

Just got a pedicure here and it was amazing! I got the $ 35 package and the man working on my feet gave an amazing foot rub (I have swollen pregnant feet so his hands on my feet were amazing!) Definitely recommend this place!

I am reviewing again and dropping to 3 stars from 4. The people are extremely friendly. They are very personal, the owner even went to the store and bought a special bottle of wine and flowers for a repeat customer who was coming in for her birthday. But the past two times my pedi has been interrupted by them shuffling around from client to client trying to get everyone seen and not have the new walk in’s be waiting too long. Very nice place, very good price, very nice people but I am looking for somewhere else so I am not interrupted in my one time of relaxation I get, not even once a month.

My first visit went better then any by far since I’ve been in Killeen. I tend to do things early and find most of the time people are still half asleep. Every one here was alert and welcoming when I came in at 9:45 they offered me water before I even got to my chair which I appreciate.
After going to a few places where steps were skipped and doing half ass jobs scrubbing and rubbing it was refreshing to not feel rushed out of the place or like things were skipped or left out be chase they weren’t in the mood.
I enjoyed my experience by leaps and bonds the. Other places down the street for me. I can’t wait to go back.

Very, very, very nice people! This was my first time here and I went with my mom and sister and we were treated very well. The complementary wine is a plus but I would go back regardless! I have found my new regular place and I only went here because the Unilocal reviews were really good. The prices are normal if not cheaper. Great color selection and they do offer acrylics, shellac and gel. The nicest place I have come across for a pedi/​mani and they definitely do what it takes for you to leave happy!

We have used welcome nails since it opened. Both my daughters and I are regulars at the salon. The shop is very clean and the staff is awesome. I’m a teacher so they paint flowers on my nails for the kindergarteners. we will continue using this business, and highly recommend them.
