The beef/​chicken teriyaki plate is so good. You seriously would not think so coming from a place like this. It’s not traditional teriyaki. They also give you an option of salad or fries on the side. The portion is big enough to share if you wanted but also not that big to where if you wanted a plate to yourself it wouldn’t be overwhelming.

Great experience today placed order over the phone before I arrived. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich combo and a side of fried mushrooms. Sandwich was a large in size and very tender juicy and tasty came with a herbed mayo sauce Swiss cheese and lettuce and tomato. French fries were a bit on the soggy side but were overflowing in the bag. Fried mushrooms tasted very fresh not frozen were extremely juicy and came with a house ranch that was extremely tasty.

I’m so glad I don’t always trust « Unilocalers» I was around the area and came across this other place in the same plaza it was cash only so I decided for Ted’s Place and I’m so glad I did! I got a cheeseburger with avocado and made it a combo! It was slow, so they made my food fast, the cashier was new and learning but friendly and polite. My burger was done in a very timely manner, and it was tasty! The fries were good as well! Idk what’s the deal with other people that write reviews for this business, but I had a great experience! Keep up the good work! On a side note the bathroom is very clean!

This has to be the worst burger I have had in years. I couldn’t finish it. My bun was all smashed, my fries were tri-​colored because they looked like they had been cooked and then allowed to set for room temp then reheated as needed. I also order a taco because the sauce looked cool but the meat was absolutely unidentifiable. The French fries taste like fish because they use the same oil for everything and was dirty. I just wasted my 9.00. Now I got to eat somewhere else to make up for this travesty in front of me.

Decent fast. food bad service. Walked in before closing and the rude lady told me they were closed. I asked what time they closed and she ignored me. Lol… Take the open sign down if your closed. Apparently this place closes at 9:45. I hope management does something about this or change their official closing time to 9:30.
Not coming back again. Going to Louis burger or steves.

This place is great. If your looking for a good place to feed the family, go here. Esmeralda and Nancy were very friendly, they kept me entertained and I kept them entertained as well. The cooks even gave me a free sample plate of the teriyaki. I fell in love with them all. I will drive from Pasadena just to eat here. You guys are Awesome!!!

It was lunchtime and I was HUNGRY. I felt like something other than the usual grind so I drove up the street to see what was going on. The first light I came to I saw Ted’s, which was great because I was craving a pastrami sandwich. Ted’s looks like your avg. Hamburger «breakfast, lunch, dinner, mexican food» joint. But, the place was full so I figured why not?
The food was horrible. I ordered a pastrami sandwich meal. The fries were either too soggy to or so old and crunchy I felt like I was gonna break a tooth. By the time I opened up the sandwich I noticed a weird stench. Like something was wrong with the pastrami. Also, the bread was so soggy that I couldn’t even hold it without it still wrapped in the paper. The pastrami tasted like it has been simmering in its own juices for a week and I don’t even want to begin about the textture. I took one bite and threw it away. Needless to say, I’m not going back. Ever.

I ordered a sausage breakfast plate and a chocolate shake for $ 9
My order took 45+ minutes to come out. The hash browns, eggs, and sour dough bread seemed under cooked and everything was super soggy. The sausage was dried out like beef jerky.
Ate a little bit of it but felt sick and threw away the rest.
Terrible food and service, won’t be eating here again.

Don’t go there! They have horrible service. I usually don’t complain, but my experience there for the first time was bad. One day I went with my mom there cause we were starving and we wanted to try something new. We get to the front of the cashier box, and we see that all three workers were watching a video on one guys phone. I say «umm hello?» nobody even looks up! Eventually this lady gets up from the back room and takes our order. she looked like she did not want to be there and she looked lazy. We already felt uncomfortable. The three cooks kept cursing in Spanish about what was going on in the video which was annoying and rude. I went to go fill my cup with coca cola soda and the lady said «Oh we don’t have more coca cola.» .wow really. Good thing we asked for our money back. We ate some place better.

My co-​worker was going here yesterday so I asked her to pick me up something too. I called in and ordered a Bacon & Cheese omelet with hashbrowns and toast. The omelet was way over-​cooked and even on the tough side to cut with a fork… had to use the knife too. I can’t even describe the color of the hasbrowns. They were far from golden or crisp but not quite all the way to gray either. I took one bite and that was enough… no flavor but they made up for it in grease. I had gone there one time before and wasn’t thrilled with the service or the food so this will be the last of my money that is spent there. Sorry Ted! (if there really is a Ted)

Came here on my lunch break,
The first time I came here the service was kind of slow but the food was normal.
I decided to try it one more time, and I think the cook heard me ask the cashier how long it would take, within 5 mins my food was out and I was headed back to work! I was pleasantly surprised =)
I rated this place 2/5,but after last week and today– I decided to rewrite the review and give the place 4⁄5. I’m not saying they have amazing food– it a basic hamburger place, but I value the service and the Bacon cheeseburger is really good!!!
I would eat here again!

I can count on one hand how many times I’ve been to this place.
Their service has ALWAYS sucked. The young Hispanic girl with dark hair is always there and the main offender of bad service. The place needs serious remodeling.
I never come here, but my girlfriend wanted to try their chicken teriyaki. I warned her!
Their food is poor quality. We’re both sick at home with food poisoning. All we ate was this dump yesterday. So I know it came from here. Which doesn’t surprise me considering I’ve been sick from them before.
So therefore brace yourself and avoid this place at all cost. Unless you need a detox cleanse, you’ll get one from them forsure. I gave them 1 star considering it was the least I could do. I’m surprised this place hasn’t shut down.

I don’t know which was worse, the food or the service. The cashier seemed like she didn’t want to be there, nor appreciated patrons visiting the establishment. I was hoping the food was going to be better than her service, but unfortunately I was wrong.
I ordered chicken fried steak and eggs, eggs scrambled. The chicken fried steak and gravy were cold, or the gravy was cold which made the chicken fried steak cold. The scrambled eggs looked like egg whites, because the eggs were so poorly beaten together.
Oh well, there’s always Fantastic Burger!

Service. Really poor service. It has been getting progressively worse each time we go.
If I order two burritos why cant the meat for those two burritos be mixed and split between the two burritos? In the long run… This didn’t really matter. Okay. No special orders.
Why don’t you have to go cups for coffee in a place that advertises orders to go? Why can’t the cashier look us in the eye when we order or respond when we say thank you? Why are you rubbing your jeans and nose and handling all of my food with dirty hands?
This last time was really awkward. Cashier/​waitress made us feel like they didn’t want our business.
Go a block East and order from BurgerKing for better food, service, reliability AND special orders don’t upset them!

Came here for breakfast. Must’ve waited at least 20 minutes for the food to come out. FYI, call them ahead of time to see if they’re working on a large order. It turned out they had a big order placed the night before. So much for fast food.
They use real eggs for scrambled eggs. Bacons turned out crispy. Sourdough toast was actually sourdough toast. I hate it when I order sourdough toast and they don’t taste remotely like it. I heard they’re known for their teriyaki but I came here for breakfast.
If it wasn’t for the wait, I probably would’ve given them another star.
