Beware. I should’ve known it would go badly after I placed our order, she would ask me if I wanted fries with our meal. Ok, I ordered very clearly abmnd directly. I get to the window to pay and she didn’t get my order right. So she rolled her eyes at me and the manager had to fix my order and I paid the difference. It’s not my fault you got it wrong and then you roll your eyes at me?! Really rude and I won’t be coming back.

Service was friendly — food was good — the environment, not so much. Noon on a very hot day and the AC was either off or not working. It was at least 85 in the restaurant — since the place was FULL of flies I assume that someone had a door propped open. Those poor employees working in the kitchen! Owner needs to fix AC!

The staff here were friendly, and appeared to like each other, and their jobs. I do not expect or demand anyone working in fast food to love their job. Indeed, quite the opposite. So it was all the more inspiring to see happy people behind the counter. The wife and I had coupons for $ 5 for two classic roast beef and cheese sandwiches, as well as jalepeno poppers, and a soft drink. Let me say that the roast beef was tender, palatable and was accompanied by an onion-flecked bun as well as a light smattering of liquid cheese food. When garnished with the house«horsey sauce»(not equine derived, I was told), the ensemble makes for a gustatory pleasure of the third rank. Although somewhat more bland than expected, the crisp texture of the jalepeno cheese poppers did have some flavor, and provided an adequate side dish to accompany the beef treats. In addition to these dishes, we sampled something called«chicken fingers.» These apparently hail from a hybrid or genetically engineered species of fowl that has fingers or finger-like appendages. The meat was moist, encased in a crispy carapace, and when paired with a vintage honey mustard sauce, were a delight to the belly, if not the senses. The cola beverage we partook of, offered us a wonderful dyed and flavored high fructose corn syrup treat so that we could get an early start on expanding our middle-aged waistlines, and onset of type II diabetes.

I just came back from this place. I am forced to give them a star when the don’t even deserve it. It took the lady 5 min to take a 9 item order. Once I arrived back to my office I found that the shake was solid ice cream. It was so bad that 30 min of sitting on my desk I still can not drink it. My crispy chicken sandwich is a complete joke! The first bit into it I was surprised to find the meat was extremely cold. It did not taste like it was cooked. I was forced to spit out what food I had in my mouth and through out the sandwich. I do not like to have food poisoning!!! I will NEVER go back to that location again! Buyer beware! !!!

I don’t eat fast food very often, especially Arby’s, after several bad experiences at the 82nd and Foster location, years ago. I saw an ad for Gyros at Arby’s in my mail. I decided to give it a try. I went inside and ordered 5 Gyros and 5 shakes for my family, since they also wanted to try them. I received super fast and friendly service. I was planning on waiting 20 or 30 minutes for my food, since that was the service I was used to at the other location. To my surprise, my food was ready in less than 5 minutes! Great job guys!!! Keep up the great work. I will be back, in fact I went back the next week and had the same great service. Oh, and PS… They Gyros are AWESOME!!!

I don’t normally eat fast food but sometimes it’s that or pass out, right? Right. Okay, so there goes Arby’s and there go I. I’d like to start off by saying the service was extremely friendly at this location; they even knew a few customers by name. But they also seemed extremely rushed. I mean my co-worker and i started having heart palpitations — some weird sort of sympathy frenzy pains or something. The restaurant itself was very clean. Another thumbs up. I didn’t visit their restroom, though, so i can’t rate them on that. Arby’s is NOT vegetarian-friendly… so i wound up eating curly fries and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks are served with a little plastic tub of something they call marinara sauce. … i can’t remember the last time i put something so god-awful as that«marinara sauce» in my mouth. …seriously… how can they get away with calling that awful garbage a food?! The first three ingredients are water, crushed tomato concentrate and high fructose corn syrup. There aren’t even any real tomatoes in it. I’ve never spit out something so fast. Bottom line: If you find yourself in the depths of SE82nd Ave and you’re about to eat your steering wheel, Arby’s seems to be an okay bet. Just don’t even open that«sauce» shenanigan of theirs.

I would not normally write a review on a fast food joint, as I do not normally eat this type of food but today we stopped in to get something quick and I was very surprised at this place. The staff here is AMAZING! I have never been greeted by such a friendly and accommodating fast food staff as I was here and I as totally and completely blown away by them. The minute we walked in the door the front counter guy Darrien(his name was on our receipt) greeted us and thanked us for coming in. He had a genuine smile on his face and a very friendly demeanor about him. I am pretty outgoing and goofy at times so I started conversing with him and the drive thru worker came around the corner and greeted us as well, not hearing that Darrien had done so already. I immediately started ribbing him and Darrien had a good time with that and the manager in the back giggled. You could tell these two and the crew were like family and I liked that. They took our order and we sat down. Our food came out and we ate and talked. While we were talking Darrien came around with a tray of Arby’s mints and asked if we wanted one, then offered to take our tray away for us with our trash on it. I watched him and he did this for the other diners in the room as well then hurried back to assist the new customers that had come in — giving them all the same friendly and courteous greeting. Fast food with the service of a sit down restaurant. I couldn’t believe it.

After waiting in line for a longer-than-usual but not unheard-of five minutes, I placed my order of one Roastburger. No extra cheese, no substitutions, no special requests whatsoever. I proceeded to join the handful of other people patiently waiting for their orders. After I few minutes it occurred to me that the car at the pickup window was the same one that was placing its order at the drive-through window as I was placing my order at the counter. At that point I started counting the number of cars that received their food before I did despite ordering after me. One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Five went by. I saw a bag on the counter and walked up to the counter to check if it was mine. I looked in the bag to discover that it was someone else’s order. At that point I looked up at the monitors to see that the longest drive-through customer had been waiting for four minutes while my elapsed time was 14 minutes. Adding in ordering time, I had been in this«fast» serve restaurant for nearly 20 minutes with nothing but a growling stomach to show for it. The employee asked me what I wanted as I was still standing at the counter. I said I was waiting for the order that was placed 14 minutes ago, according to the monitor. Her response was«Do you SEE all those people behind you?!?» The response was not«Oh I’m sorry, your order will be right up.» It was not«Thank you for your patience.» I was told to look at the ever-growing crowd of people behind me who had all arrived after me. Taken aback, I replied«You’re right that’s MY mistake for not ordering drive-through. How silly of me.» After yet more time, my order was shoved in my chest without a word being spoken. She didn’t utter something along the lines of, «We appreciate your patience» or even«Would you like an Arby’s or Horsey sauce?» It was dead silence. Not that there wasn’t anything being communicated. Her glare and facial expression were giving a clear and unambiguous message: «Get the fú¢# out!» She will not have to worry as I won’t be in Store #1623’s dining room again.
