Went here for Sunday brunch before hitting the beach, and loved it. We ordered a daily special(kielbasa scramble) and steak and eggs. Both were great portions and really reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

It’s a family place love the sign good food takes time and if your short on time move along. Coffee is excellent service is prompt. They have the coffee on the table a remember my order every time

We came here on a Saturday and the place was very busy. It took over 10 minutes to get coffee(huh?) and about 50 minutes to get our food. I got the asparagus omelet, which was good but had a bunch of inedible pieces of asparagus in it. Perhaps the ends got in there? Still, we were on vacation and this was my kind of homey place and menu. We had a lot of time to kill the next morning, and I really was not digging the Hampton Beach food scene, so we went back. Much better this time. I think we just had a new waitress the first day? just bad mojo timing? no idea. anyway, the second time was great all around. Very reasonable prices for the amount of food we got.

Perfect for simple and cheap breakfast … I’m usually more of a fan of «gourmet» or more unique breakfast options but this gets the job done especially for people who like the more simple and inexpensive breakfast options … I liked the small town local feel inside as well… Bummer that it’s cash only though…

Great service from the extremely friendly staff! Doesn’t get much better. The quality of ingredients are not very good. Example: thin cheap bacon, toast is generic and the coffee is not good. The location, building, menu are all great! Wish they purchased better ingredients but maybe that’s why the prices are low?

Greeted with, «sorry, no poached eggs!» at 11am on a Friday… What?! Upon seeing my disappointment she decided to ask if there were any left, which there were. Again, what?! Who doesn’t poach their eggs to order? Hash? From a can, soggy and not crispy like you’d expect. Hollandaise? «Just add water» mix. Hash browns? Soggy and flavorless despite that orange/seasoned look. 10oz bottle of Great Value apple juice for an adult? Seriously?? Fiancé liked his French toast. That’s all we’ve got to say that’s positive. Service was mediocre. Disappointing. Unilocalers let us down on this one. Won’t be back.

We had the pancake special, each had a different filler and all were excellent. The bacon was excellent. I had a made to order omelet and it was one of the best I have had. The service was friendly and quick.

Lovely little breakfast spot. The server was great, sorry I don’t recall her name but we chatted a bit. The food was fresh, quickly cooked to order, I had my English Muffin grilled instead of toasted, something I forgot about my New England days, yummy. The prices were extremely reasonable, I hit it at a slower time but bet this place fills up fast, as it is not big. Loved the place and would highly recommend it.

Spotted this hole in the wall restaurant from a mile away. I’m not sure how, but it jumped out at me and I’m so glad it did! Service was great and FAST! I had the veggie scramble — portion was ginormous, couldn’t even finish half. My boyfriend ordered a breakfast sandwich and was quite satisfied as well. We were in and out within 20 – 25 minutes. Great service, great food, and priced well. The only downfalls are that the restaurant is rather tiny and cannot occupy a large amount of customers. If you are planning on having breakfast with a large group, this probably wouldn’t be a great idea. The only other downfall is that it is cash only, so those of us who only swipe — be prepared.

Adorable hole in the wall that probably doesn’t get the recognition it deserves! Yummy scrambles, yummy pancakes, yummy coffee, and incredibly nice and very quick service all at a reasonable price… what more could anyone want?! The parking’s a bit of a challenge, but other than that no complaints at all. Highly recommend!

Was expecting this to be really good given the reviews. Food was really boring. Not a ton of options. A very basic breakfast place. Waitress did not seem very happy to be there until it was time for the check, and collecting her tip. Wouldn’t go back. Tons of better options. Wish I had more positive things to say.

This place was fantastic. My fiancé and I were looking for a nice fresh healthy breakfast place and we happened upon this place. Everyone was very friendly and the chef even prepared my fiancé a special egg white omelet. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back!

We visited Hampton recently and happened upon the Kitchen around breakfast time. The restaurant is very small but has a neat homey feel to it. We were seated immediately as a booth opened up when we got there. Our waitress was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. I ordered the veggie scramble and added swiss cheese to it. My husband ordered the eggs benedict. Our food came incredibly fast! My husband loved the eggs benedict and said the homefries were great. The veggie scramble was delicious. It had lots of veggies and they scrambled the homefries right in. Overall we found everything to be great here — this place is a true gem and we’ll be back next time we are in the area!

When I was searching for a place to eat breakfast on Unilocal,I came across this place. Breakfast is served until 12:30 on Sundays. The omelets were delicious and gigantic. I had the kielbasa omelet and my boyfriend has the ham and cheese omelet — they were fantastic. The service was awesome, too. I forget our waitress’s name. But, she was very kind, helpful, and friendly.

For a breakfast experience… This place is perfect. Not a greasy spoon joint. A fresh, friendly, perfect start to the day joint. The staff are always smiling and moving fast to get everyone tended to. The food is fabulous and prepared with pride. It is not fancy… a sunny and delightful little space. It feels like you are sitting at a good friends’ kitchen table, but the cook is really good. ;) I often get the veggie scramble. it never ever disappoints. The wait staff will treat you like family. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait for a table, but I have never waited more than 10 minutes. Prices are low. Value is high. Come eat.

I had an excellent Saturday breakfast at the Kitchen At Depot Square in Hampton. This cozy breakfast & lunch eatery is very casual and inviting, it feels like you’re dining in a classic train depot, with wood floors, beams, and walls with old pictures, booth seating along the walls and table and lunch counter seating in the middle. The offerings on the hand written menus include egg dishes, a variety of 3 egg omelettes and pancakes, as well as hash, Texas French toast, Belgiam Waffles, breakfast sides, sandwiches, burgers, soups, and salads. Several interesting daily specials are also offered including asparagus & cheese omelette, oatmeal almond pancakes, pumpkin pancakes, and Denver scramble. Fresh ground Donahue Bros Coffee is brewed here. The prices are pretty reasonable, especially for this area, from $ 2.70(1 egg, homefries, toast) to $ 7.75(steak & eggs, homefries, toast) for most dishes. I arrived here around 11:30AM and I could sit anywhere I’d like. I was offered coffee as I took a seat and there was no rush to decide what I was going to order. The coffee was very good, just what I needed! I ordered the Country Scramble($ 6.25) with wheat toast and served hot to my table in about 7 minutes. The Country Scramble was delicious and very filling which had scrambled eggs mixed with green pepper, onions, sausage, and plenty of grilled home fries, very similar to enjoying a fritata. The buttered wheat toast was soft and moist inside. The service was very attentive and I was offered and given top-offs on the coffee, until I said was«no mas, all good» since I had almost 3 good cups of coffee. The check came out to $ 8.51 with tax and before tip. Overall 2 thumbs up to the Kitchen for the great food, service and neat local atmosphere. and all caffeinated for the afternoon along the beach.
