My outlaws («common law inlaws») love this place. The early bird menu is extensive and includes a personal appetizer, a salad, an entrée, dessert and coffee. Priced at $ 13.95 you can’t go wrong (see photo of menu).
The food is great, the service is nice and it’s BYOB!
Under new ownership the name has recently changed from Rafael’s to Tres Fratelli’s but the early bird menu has remained intact. I’ve only gone for dinner before 6P so I can’t say what’s on the regular dinner menu but I know you won’t be disappointed (call to make sure they are open — I don’t think they stay open too late).
It’s a quick hop off Rte 4 and a MUCH better choice than going across the highway to Rivers Edge Mall for one of the jumbo chain restaurants (Cheesecake Factory).
They upped the décor too so it has a good homey dining room vibe now. Go you won’t be disappointed and don’t forget to buy a bottle of wine (or two) at nearby Total Wine & More (135 Kinderkamack Rd — on the other side of the Rte 4)… that wine shop is incredible!
