This place was open during the blizzard in January 2016. Kudos to them for delivering in bad weather. I do however agree that the food is sub par. They should consider remaining their ‘Pepper steak with onions’ to ‘Onions with pepper steak’. They are so frugal with their meat.

This is the best Chinese food spot that Hackensack has to offer in my opinion. I’ve never had an issue with grease like some others who have reviewed. I get the lo mein, shrimp mei fun, chicken and broccoli and pepper steak on a regular basis. I even have co-​workers who live in Dumont and Teaneck who order from here and pick it up before they go home. Without mentioning any names to me some of the more «popular» Chinese restaurants in the area are flavorless!!! Hong Kong is never lacking in flavor…

The food is good. However they use too much oil. The steamed dumplings are disgusting because the dough is super thick. If you are going to get them get them fried. The service is horrible. If you get something you don’t like and want to exchange or return it goodluck. I had been a customer of this place for over 7years and today they lost my business forever.

I’ve had their Lo Mein and it was VERY good. Less grease and salt than most other places. Reasonable prices and it’s clean. Not a greasy sty like most places.

Don’t be fooled by the décor and gloomy colors inside this restaurant! Great quality Chinese for a very inexpensive price! I’ve had their vegetable soup, broccoli and garlic sauce and lo mein. I’ve been very please with it all! They also have great deals for combos all day for $ 7.25. The lady at the register is a sweetheart and gives overall great customer service.
