Carne Asada burritos from this place are worth trying. It’s a regular burrito but it has this sauce that makes it special. Good spot for a quick lunch.

Excellent fish tacos, great service, the seating is a little sparse but I usually take out anyway.

I’ve been here 3 times now and every time I was impressed with the flavor of their food that I had to write a review. I’ve tried their asada torta, super burrito, and this morning their machaca burrito. They were all delicious! And their green salsa… yum!(Their red salsa is pretty good too!) I didn’t have any issues with service but I told my coworker about this place and he went after work and the older man that was working wasn’t too friendly.

Best breakfast burritos and tacos. The green salsa is delicious. Best hole in the wall ever. Needs updating but food takes over the spot

I’m so upset I’m sitting in my car writing this review right outside the establishment. ****** 0 stars******* I received my order for takeout & paid with my credit card. Guy at register asked if I wanted my receipt to which I said yes & after saw that he had charged me $.75 extra for paying with a card. I let him know he should have informed me of the service fee prior to charging me to which he responded, «I’ll give you your money back then. Everybody knows there’s a charge. Nothing is free.» He then grabbed my order out of my hand and handed me cash for what he had charged on my card. Really? Wow. Speechless.

Great food great people! I go there very often and have never had anything bad. Always delicious. I am a big fan of their breakfast burrito. Just wish they were open on Sundays but being in the same business I completely understand the need for down time. Love this place

I had driven by many times but never stopped in. Today was going to be the day as I’ve grown tired of the same old thing for lunch. I pulled into the very small parking lot and literally got the last legal space available. I had to do a double take to make sure they were open. Doors were shut and no signage on the doors made it hard to see the restaurant from the outside. However, I then saw somebody else walk in and followed a minute or so behind them. The first thing I noticed was how great it smelled in there, like I was walking into someone’s kitchen preparing dinner. The second was how warm it was, I’m glad my order was to go as it was quite warm inside. Also, it’s small inside with only a few tables. I ordered the Super Asada burrito. Was kind of nervous because they do not list the prices for anything on the menu. But ended up paying just over $ 7 for the burrito. Although it was more than I wanted to spend, in the end I felt that the price was consistent with the quality and quantity that I received. Burrito was made very well and stayed together through the last bite(I had my doubts it would at first). Delicious! I will most likely come back to try some of the other items on the menu as well(just wish I knew how much that will cost me).

This place is a hole in the wall and what it seems like family owned. The staff is very friendly and the food is really good. I do not know how they cook their meat but the tacos always have a very good taste to it. What I love about this place is the refills on tamarindo, Jamaica, horchata, and other drinks. I love coming here and I am from LA.

Food: Best fish tacos in the area! Whenever I go here, I always get the same thing. Two fish tacos with everything on them with a small drink, always horchata. My mom always gets the taquitos, and my dad usually gets the al pastor burrito. Chips always comes with your food if you eat in… I’m not sure if you take out. Their salsa is the BEST! I like the red salsa. It has this nice smokey flavor that I absolutely LOVE! Their jalapeños are delicious too! Perfectly toasted! Parking: Plenty of parking in the area. The plaza is small, but you can park on 7th avenue. Staff: Small, family owned restaurant. Always friendly! I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area!

very much a hole in the wall place. real simple with a few tables and chairs. liquor store in the same strip mall. had their asada quesadillas and pastor tacos. asada quesadillas were really tasty. pastor tacos were so-so, but i guess that is the case at many places. i would go back for the asada stuff, but will avoid pastor and need to check out other items on their menu.

Was pretty good but the guacamole got old really fast in the super burrito de asada it was just on one side and a lot of it wished it was spread more evenly but would go back here! Other than that nothing bad to say about it!

Short version. Tasty but not impressed. Lacked uniform distribution of meat and such inside burrito and ton of cabbage. I’d eat here again I’ll try it again cause it was still tasty just not impressed. Long: I had the Frijolito burrito and despite the name had a lack of frijoles. Now I’m a carnivore and don’t mind a little beans in the burrito but this hardly had any. The meat was tasty but very thinly spread throughout. There was however a ton of cabbage. Felt like a rabbit. The sour cream, guac, and cheese were at one side and in my case the end of the burrito instead of spread out. I should’ve had the torta. If the flavor wasn’t there I wouldn’t go back but I will I’ll try again…

I like hiking the Hacienda Hills Trails and then coming here afterwards to fuel up on tacos and horchata :3

It’s a no frills taco joint but I do like their Al Pastor burritos. I first tried their Super Burrito then I tried their original. I didn’t like their original because of the cabbage. I basically just brushed them out and continued eating. I tried their Carnitas which wasn’t too bad either. Their tacos are typical size but lack flavor of its own. Everything is tender but just lacking individual flavor, except for the Al Pastor. I’ll be back when I have a craving again.

Hidden little place surprised my taste buds! This place is seriously awesome. The Frijolito Asada burrito is top notch with its sour cream, guacamole and tasty Asada meat. Also tried the chicken tamale which I loved. If your reading this just drive over and try the burrito and tamales.

Small little Mexican restaurant. There’s no AC, only a huge fan. The lady working at the register was really nice. I don’t ever eat Mexican food, so she let me customize my order. I got an open-faced burrito and just ate the inside of it. The bathroom is all the way in the back. You have to walk past through the kitchen. Warning… the bathroom isn’t the cleanest bathroom you’ll see…

This place is close to work and seemed like they had good burritos, so I got the super burrito with carne asada and wet with green sauce, just be sure to specify. It was huge and actually really good!!! They put everything in it, the sauce was authentic and homemade. It’s a hole in the wall type place, so I got the burrito to go, no one was eating there, I’ll probably come back for it again or something new!

Secluded little hidden gem. Ordered 3 nachos… big portions. Couldn’t finish it. There were drinks you could choose from. The rose hibiscus was pretty good. Overall, the nachos were delicious. Next time I will try the burrito. I’ll write an update next time.

Location: Southwest corner Seventh & Clark, easy freeway access from Seventh. Parking: Tiny shopping center parking lot shared w a liquor store. Plenty of street available on Clark and on Seventh where truck drivers will often park while they grub. Decorations/Ambiance: Peach/yellow cream colored walls, faded Aztec prints on the north wall, giant menu, a fresh salsa bar, aguas & soda all on the south wall. Dance music always blasting away, I think this is for the cooks more than the customers. lol Sometimes the blaring music makes it difficult to order so pump up those vocal cords! lol Ordering: Keep it simple. lol The kind lady at the register must work really long hours because my order has gotten mixed up or when I ask her something she gives me a totally different answer. lol Food is prepared quickly but check it to make sure your order is correct. Food: Excellent for the price. My faves are: — bean/cheese burrito — egg/nopales(cactus) burrito [minus the jalapeño] lol Salsa: Spicy means spicy at this spot so you are warned! Their salsa looks home made, the salsa verde(green) looks particularly good with bits roasted tomatillo skin floating in the batch. Yum! Drinks: Soda fountain, water, coffee & small variety of aguas frescas(non carbonated drinks). They aguas frescas are very good though a bit sweet for my taste but I just add about 1⁄3 water. Selections usually include horchata, tamarindo, grapefruit, lemon, jamaica, & jamaica-lemon(omg, yummy!).

If I looked up the definition of «hole in the wall» in the dictionary, this place’s picture would probably be there. Located on the corner of 7th Ave and Clark Ave in a cramped plaza right next to a liquor store, this place seems to be frequented by truck drivers galore. I’ve passed by often and one day I decided, what the heck, let’s give it a go. I ordered two super burritos to go, one with carnitas and one with pastor. Food came out really quick. The menu indicated the super burritos came with guacamole, tomatoes and some other things, but they were absent in both of my burritos. Oh well… Both burritos were delicious, but I enjoyed my bf’s pastor burrito more than my carnitas. Mine was a bit too salty, so I’ll have to ding some points for that. The salsas were great. Red salsa had a nice roasted flavor to it and the green salsa had a lighter refreshing note to it. I was impressed on the first go, just disappointed my carnitas burrito was a bit salty. I’d definitely come again to try more food though. Plus it’s a nice alternative to In ‘N Out’s long drive thru lines on the next corner.
