Very good new spot. The bacon wrapped pork with sweet potato mash was excellent. I will be back soon!

Food is above average with an unique menu.

Four of us went to Rickhouse Friday evening. They don’t take reservations, but we were seated in about 5 minutes after calling ahead. Nice, attentive server. Ordered special bourbon drinks. They are all priced at $ 9. Were nice. Rye Manhattan was my preferred one. Two guests shared the special salad with shrimp and grilled romaine, and it got mixed reviews. My guest and I had Caesar grilled romaine which we enjoyed but needed lots more cheese on it. Two guests had shrimp and sausage with hoe cakes. I tried it and it was delicious. Best thing I’ve eaten in Greenville in a long time. I ordered bone in pork chop and ordered it medium rare. Came well done. They replaced it with nicely done medium rare one and it was properly seared while still pink inside was perfect. My chop came with grilled corn on the cob which was also very good. One guest had the fried chicken over potatoes and she was not impressed. Too dry was her comment. So far, at least in recent times, for me this was best meal in Greenville in a long time.

We’ve been here a few times, but I’m finally writing a review. Our first experience was soon after opening, and like most restaurants, they were working out kinks, but we still had a great evening. Now, several months in, they have it down. Service is great! We generally sit at the bar. We like to watch the action and the art. The bartenders are knowledgeable and efficient.; not just about drinks, but about the entire menu. The food is as great as the staff. From the fried pickles, smoked shrimp crostini, cheese dip, to burgers, and especially pork, it’s all been very good. Atmosphere is relaxed and casual. I’d recommend this restaurant to locals, folks traveling and anyone in between.

I love this place. Amazing Bourbon selection and the beers on tap aren’t shabby either. Waitress and bartender were both very knowledgable and the place was clean. Had the pork belly app which was really good. I had bourbon glazed salmon special with risotto and it was very good. My wife had ribeye but was very fatty. Kids menus were priced well too.

Great steaks cooked to perfection and awesome selection of whiskey and bourbon.

Had a great lunch. Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. It had andoullie (sp?) Sausage in it with a cajun gravy! My wife had a chicken sandwich with their house made bourbon based sauce and she loved it. Mother in law had a burger which looked delicious and my step daughter had a yummy looking po boy.

Food is delicious and the Monte Ricksto is my favorite! The three cheese dip is amazing also! The specialty mixed drinks are great when you have the right bartender there. Will definitely return!

The Rickhouse has a great wine list, if you like reds. If you are a chardonnay drinker, you’re in trouble. The whites by the glass on the list are too sweet for my taste. Great service and good atmosphere. They are pretty busy on the weekends.

Burger and fries are very good. The menu is super meat heavy. The place looks nice, but the air was bad –like chemical smells from carpet or paint or something — they really need to air the place out. I actually got a headache in there.

We finally tried The Rickhouse in Greenville over the weekend. The service was really good, and they have a great whiskey and drink menu. The food however was just ok. We started with the pork belly appetizer, which we were really looking forward to, but it was just mediocre. It was really fatty, and covered in way too much balsamic glaze. I’ve had much better, and it was disappointing.
For dinner I had shrimp with the corn hoe cake, which was good, and my husband had the pork chop. The chop was a bit overcooked and unfortunately, had some sort of tape or plastic on it. The management was kind enough to take off 50% of that entrée, and offer us dessert. The desserts though weren’t that interesting to us, and I’d like to see them step it up a notch in that area.
Although I like whiskey and the options available, I like food more and would’ve preferred a dinner menu with more options. It seemed fairly limited and sorry, but the food just wasn’t that good. In my opinion, if you’re going to have a fairly limited menu, the food should be terrific.
We’re undecided about whether or not we’ll go back.

First time at this outstanding trendy local place. We will return. The food was outstanding and made with great precision and care. The service was wonderful as well. We had a mishap with our order and they made sure it was corrected and we were happy. The bar selection is wonderful with many beers on tap! Great wine selection too.

Love the atmosphere, beautiful inside. Awesome drink selection. Food was very good. Only thing I didn’t love was the tuna appetizer that came in a clear jar. Looked like baby food. Should do a wasabi tuna instead. But service and everything else was great. Classy place to go out on a date out hang out with friends

Disappointed the owner openly supports racist and sexist donald trump… politics and business not necessary… could impact business… bad practice… makes me not want to drop 200 a week here… but I can tell by his facebook he doesn’t care if he loses a customer that is different from him most likely… I will say… this…
Hands down best place for American food around Eastern nc. I love the fresh daily soups, desserts, and dinner specials. It is hard to pick because everything is fresh and so flavorful.
Everything we have tried is 10 out of 10 stars! We don’t have to wait for a table and we usually ask for the same girl, she is AMAZING. ALL the staff are great and the kitchen knows what they are doing. The atmosphere is fantastic and makes me forget I am in lil Greenville which is nice!
We are going there 2x a week some weeks. I recommend everything! The burger and fries are amazing and I am not a burger and fries person.
RICKHOUSE IS A HIT! Will continue our weekly date night dinner here. So glad it is in Greenville.
Only suggestion is to update daily specials and desserts on Facebook page so I do not have to call. It would motivate people to come check it out too.

Loved the atmosphere and food. This is a pleasant restaurant that offers a good selection for the bourbon lovers and alternate choices for others. The service was top notch. The servers took the time to explain everything and were very knowledgable about the menu and drink choices.

The 16oz ribeye was seasoned and cooked to perfection! The twice baked potato is in a delicious butter cream sauce and the green beans sautéed crispy! Our server Brooke was exceptional and overall the food and service was excellent!!!

We went here for the first time, the food is awesome, the atmosphere is great, the price was compatible with food quality and portion. I had the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin. One of the most tender I have ever eaten. The mashed sweet potato and apples was outstanding. My date had the ribeye, it was perfectly cooked. I would definitely recommend this place, and will be returning.

I’ve heard many good things about the new restaurant so I decided to TRY to plan my husband’s birthday dinner here. I called Monday to make reservations for 20 people, and told Elizabeth I would be calling back Thursday (¹²⁄₃₁) to confirm the reservations and give the exact number of guest (since they were going to be closed on Friday-​New Years Day). I call at 5pm and they are unable to find my reservations in the computer. The hostess takes my number and said that she would give Elizabeth my information and call me back. I waited 2hours, no call back-​so of course I called them back. She once again takes my number and I have yet to hear from anyone. So I am a little disappointed. I understand you are busy, but you missed out on some $$ to be made Saturday night. Good luck, and hope this establishment makes some
Improvements on their reservations.

Went tonight with girlfriends. Tried the Beginner’s Luck flight and out of the three, only one sample was enjoyable, so definitely not worth the steep price. The service was good, but our poor server was not very knowledge as to what beers were available. I had the Bourbon Bacon Burger and it had many interesting qualities to it, so it was good. Not the best I have ever had, but better than most. The fries were good, but just seemed like they were plain old frozen fries.
I might would try here again.

Love this place! Start out with the batch number 9 shrimp… it’s legit. All of the cocktails were awesome but the old fashioned were top notch. My girlfriend drank 3 mo-​neatos so safe to say they are a hit too. Our entrees were excellent from the douille bourbon pasta to the brown butter ribeye with a charred Caesar salad. Go there and get one of everything, I’m not kidding. Great service and atmosphere as well. Twice during our meal a manager stopped by to ensure we were satisfied. Great experience overall and going back tomorrow for lunch.
