This is a really good Thai place. I got the tofu pad Thai which was really good. I recommend this place 100%. Like others have said, don’t let the outside fool you. I will be coming back.

Excellent Thai restaurant. In greenville, it’s 2nd only to Bangkok Thai on pelham and maybe Lemongrass downtown. Can’t go wrong at any of the 3 restaurants. Support local thai :) The curry and fried rice entrees are fantastic.

It’s my favorite place to get Pad Thai with chicken!!! Sooooo yummy! I also really enjoy the Tom Ka soup with shrimp. It’s one of my favorite splurges when I’ve had a bad day. It makes me feel better.

We went here for a late lunch. It is tucked away in a strip mall off of East North Street, but don’t let the digs foo you. We had the Tom Kra soup with chicken in the full pot serving. Plenty for us to split between 2 people and maybe a third. We also split the pineapple curry, again with chicken and it was plenty to date both of us. Everything else spelled great and the service was good. The waiter(seems like a husband and wife team) was very contentious and was sure to help us with the spice level of the food. We opted for a 3⁄5 for both dishes and it was enough zing for us. This is going to be our new place for Thai now.

I love the fried rice and drunken noodle here. Its not very expensive. Though the place is a little bit dirty. Once I ordered a cup of hot water, the cup even has oil on it. But later that waiter was no longer there. The cook there cooks good thai food. Just be prepared to see nasty plates, cups, table, etc.

This Thai food is delicious. The interior is no frills, but who cares when the green curry and noodle dishes are prepared perfectly. Gluten free diners can dine here safely as well, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable about gluten free modifications and options. Enjoy!

I love Thai food and this place is on point. All of the dishes I have had are amazing! My favorite is the Pad Won Sen. Love love love!

By far the best Tom Yum soup I’ve had in a while — very spicy, which I enjoy. Unfortunately, the Tofu Pad Thai was a bit of disappointment. There were no fresh bean sprouts or ground peanuts to accompany the dish, nor was there a wedge of lime. Half of the tofu was soft, while other pieces were crispy. This isn’t to say it wasn’t tasty. It just wasn’t authentic. Portions were generous and prices were low.

A friend invited me here. Did not even know it was there. Very non-descript when you drive up, but the food was VERY good. Quick service too. for lunch. NOTE that they are not open on Mondays.

I absolutely love this place! So much so I admit I have to eat there once a week. Plus when my friends want to go Thai, I drag them here! The owner is so sweet and even remembers my order when I call! I usually order take out, and it is super fast! The portions are good for the money, the taste is incomparable to any other Thai restaurant, and they always use the freshest ingredients! I have never been disappointed.

What a great little gem this place turned out to be. I’m no stranger to Thai food, and this place was absolutely delicious. I drive by this place daily on my way home and finally decided to try it out one day after reading some of the other Unilocal reviews. It’s true, the location doesn’t do the place any justice, but I guarantee that the food you find within the walls will be deliciously satisfying. Great place to go for Thai food, and this is definitely my new place in Greenville for my Thai cravings.

This restaurant lived up to the great reviews on Unilocal. We ordered calamari for an appetizer, Pangang Curry and Pad Tai for our entrée, some of the best we ever had. Service was outstanding along with the dimmed romantic atmosphere. They brought the rice out to my wife and I in shape of a heart… ahhhh!

Ah yeah! Last night in town and we finally found some good authentic Thai food. Third time’s a charm I guess. As others have noted — don’t let the location throw you off. Inside it is nice and charming. A plus was that they didn’t pump the A/C full blast like many restaurants in Greenville seem to do. It had some fans running and was a comfortable temperature inside. We got the fresh rolls to start. They came with a very flavorful dipping sauce. My girl got the«drunken noodles» but they only had egg noodles. She asked for spicy and she got SPICY. Next time we will ask for a 3 on the 1 – 5 scale of spiciness. My Thai basil with chicken had amazingly rich flavor and was good and spicy for me. After our meal, the charming lady there offered us both a cup of the tom yum gai, which was super yummy and full of flavor, just like all of the food we tried. This will be the neighborhood spot from now on I’m sure. The service was great, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The place is humble, yes, but lives up to the five stars for all the aforementioned factors. Definitely worth a try!

One of the best restaurants in Greenville for Thai food. If you are a fan of curry dishes, this place is a must go. Food is always cooked to order and is usually ready within15−20 minutes. Great prices and polite folks.

Best Thai food in the Greenville area without question. DONOTLETTHEEMPTYSTRIPMALLDETERYOU! I’ve only ordered take-out from here, but it was ready in 15 minutes, piping hot. Peanut sauce is definitely house made. Good portions at a good price. Pad Thai is to die for. Super polite people working. You must go.

Like spicy food, love curry. Had the pineapple beef at a 7⁄10 was the perfect temperature. No sushi, but the food was real good. The seating and the waitress could have been better

Thai is one of my fav foods. Out of all the thai food I have experimented with, this place is the very best. So impressive. Everything I order is with a medium spice. On their 1 – 5 scale that is a 3. I can’t ever get past my three fav dishes… Pineapple Fried Rice– The rice is perfectly done. Pineapple chunks are perfect size, not too large or too small. Cashews and green onions give this dish a nice little crunch. I love how the cashews are browned from being stir fried. I’ve had this with chicken and shrimp. Either or is a winner in my book. Panang Curry– Any of their curries are great but panang is dear to my heart. It has became a comfort food for me .The creamy hints of coconut & the huge pieces of carrot help give it a thumbs up. With chicken it is the best curry dish in Greenville. Definitely stands apart from everyone in towns interpretation. Pad Thai– Once again, they are the Greenville Pad Thai winners. If you are thinking what your next cheat meal should be… don’t stress over any more options. Pick this one. Perfect Perfect Perfect. Healthy portion! I’ve had many other things on the menu which were great but these three dishes are the stars of Thai Jing. Take out is very easy. Ready in 10 – 15 minutes. The owners who work in house every day are sooooo nice. Always have a smile on their face, always happy to be there. Definitely a hidden gem in Greenville. Don’t let the almost empty shopping center scare you! ***Don’t tell anyone but I“ve been known to order take out from here 3 nights a week. :)

I have driven past Thai Jing an uncountable number of times on my daily commute. I love Thai food, but the abandoned shopping center location of this restaurant made me a little nervous. My only regret in dining here tonight is that I have not been brave enough to have dined here before. My boyfriend and I ordered thai iced tea, satay kai, and curry(panang and green). Thai iced tea is always delicious, and the one served here was no exception. We ordered the satay kai based on a previous review. Everything on that plate was delicious. I usually dislike chicken on a skewer – but this chicken was so tender, juicy, and delicious. The thai peanut sauce was definitely homemade – and it was so tasty that we used the shredded carrot garnish to wipe up the last little bit in the dish. The cucumber relish was refreshing, cool, and light. I expected the relish to be more pickled and sour with vinegar – but the relish was subtle and smooth. My boyfriend and I each loved our individual curries. My boyfriend ordered panang curry with chicken – and the chicken in the curry was tender and juicy just like the satay kai. I ordered green curry with tofu. I love tofu. I loved tofu in this green curry. The spice level at Thai Jing ranges from 1 – 5. My boyfriend and I both ordered medium(3). I think that the spiciness scale here may be lower than at other Thai restaurants(medium for me is usually pretty spicy). For those who want to try a little Thai spice without sweating throughout a meal might try Thai Jing – the spiciness definitely enhanced the flavor without adding an inedible heat to the dish. Our server, Meena, was attentive to us when we needed her but certainly did not make herself overly present or anywhere near annoying. She left us to enjoy our meal and waited to speak with us until the bill was paid. I liked that she let us enjoy our dinner without feeling the need to entertain us or engage in a dinner-long conversation with us. She was attentive without being invasive. Meena asked which other Thai restaurants in Greenville we had visited and how Thai Jing compared. She recommended that we try the Pad Thai, Pad-Se-Ew, or Pad Wunsen on future visits. I will certainly visit Thai Jing again. I hope to dine in – but I also grabbed a take-out menu. This place is affordable and delicious – and the portions are fairly large.
