I have never in my life been treated as rudely as I was at purple haze last night. Waited over 45 min to go in the glass room & when it was brought to the girls attention she made it seem as though that was our fault. Her & her coworker were too busy talking about the drugs they were going to do after work to pay attention to the customers. We got there 30 minutes before the shop closed & wound up leaving 20 minutes after close due to them forgetting about us. I won’t be going back to purple haze & I’ve gone to this shop for 8 plus years now.

Its a head shop. their no gun policy is a major point for me. The safety of my wife and friends are very important to me. Them posting a no gun inside notice is to me and invite to criminals. First of all, these stores have no right whatever to tell you that you aren’t allowed to observe your Second Amendment rights inside their establishments. No mere shop owner has the capability or the right to prevent Americans from enjoying their Constitutionally guaranteed rights. This may sound like a contradiction for many conservatives. After all, most conservatives and gun owners are very supportive of rights in general and the right of private property owners to do what they want on their own property is no less important than our Second Amendment rights. So, how can conservatives and gun owners on one hand claim to support private property rights yet on the other feel it perfectly OK to tell the owner of that property that they cannot ban a CC carrier’s gun inside? For that ship has sailed on the claim that owners of private property have free reign to do anything they want on their property. The Supreme Court has repeatedly, for instance, told business owners that they cannot discriminate against patrons based on their sex, race, creed et al. The law states that a mere store owner cannot hamper people’s civil and Constitutional rights just because they have private property rights. One right, in other words, does not trump all-or any single-other rights. Therefore, it is perfectly logical to state that if a store cannot refuse to serve a gay or a person of a particular race or religion because this refusal violates their Constitutional rights, then a store owner cannot act to prevent a patron from observing their Second Amendment rights, either. But, some may still be stuck on the whole idea that a private business has certain rights to say what they want allowed on their own premises. Here’s a quote from Thomas Jefferson which reveals why a business has no right to summarily remove a patron’s Second Amendment rights. In his own Report on Navigation of the Mississippi, 1792, Thomas Jefferson wrote the following: «It is a principle that the right to a thing gives a right to the means without which it could not be used, that is to say, that the means follow their end.» Either way I’ll just not spend my money there. I hope all you that read this do the same at every business that thinks they know better than you how to protect you and yours. The RASMAN

I love this place for all my piercing and jewelry wants! I’ve gotten my eyebrow, nose, tongue, cartridge, and double navel pierced here. Although I was very frustrated with my first navel piercing because the lady put in an eyebrow ring instead of belly button ring so with the screw on ball on top being smaller, it sunk into my skin. Luckily they replaced it. Their variety on jewelry is huge & they have good sales on top of that. I love this place! The inside is trippy. They’re very professional and friendly. I’ll never go get pierced anywhere else :-)

I went there to get a nose piercing. I was so nervous as it’s first time I had ever done it and the ladies that work here were extremely helpful walking me through the process. I think it was more the nerves than the pain cause it did not hurt and it literally took 5 minutes for the entire process from explaining, cleaning, and pierce. I truly recommend this place. Also, as I read before from another reviewer they do have the biggest selection in the area as far as piercings.

I’m new-ish around here, so I’d never been to any local piercing place. I’m very glad I ended up here. I needed help with a change-out(long story), and the piercings(five, various) were done in Colorado, so going back to the original piercer wasn’t really an option. They could have easily been curt about this pretty small job involving piercings they didn’t do in the first place, but Brandi treated me perfectly pleasantly and put every bit of necessary effort into getting things back exactly the way they were before. The environment was relaxed, but the staff at the counter was definitely paying attention to appropriate procedures, and, from what I could see(since I wasn’t actually having a piercing done), everything looked in order. Things were sterile, and all the relevant certifications were visible. I also really appreciate that Brandi both made pleasant conversation as well as telling me what she was doing. To be honest, missing my old place had been keeping from getting anything else done– that won’t be a problem anymore.

Purple Haze has cemented itself as the only place I’ll go to get a piercing done. Beyond that? eh, they’re your standard head shop. There’s nothing special or unique in their offerings, though the place on the whole is orderly and clean. The people I’ve had do my piercings there have been personable, very clean and orderly(making sure to go through the proper steps, to show you the new needles, tools, etc. they’re using). They’re very informative as well– even if you’re a seasoned pro, as it were, they make sure to go over every bit of information you might need. The only complaint I may have is I feel like they should give people an estimate of time it might take until their turn– there’s little seating in the shop and it gets old wandering around for 40+ minutes.
