Mi Cabana

Wow, I am here in Eastern North Carolina for almost six months now and I only wrote three reviews, two of them are also Mexican restaurants. So it’s time to catch up with all that has happened. First, Mi Cabana. This is my favorite of four Mexican restaurants I have tried. I ordered soup as an appetizer and an enchilada platter. The server asked if I wanted the soup «instead» of the enchiladas. She looked amazed that I said to bring both. Turns out the soup is a plate of assorted ingredients, chicken, avocado, pico de gallo, etc. that is floating in a tangy chicken broth. And then a full plate of enchiladas. Holy cow I ate it all !! My wife had a combo platter and had no complaints. This restaurant warrants a return.

Ate there tonight. Definitely not worth the money tonight. Waiter was bad and food wasn’t prepared well. Not coming back any time soon.
