I give this location 1 star only because the Winterville location(which we visited last Sunday) was so superior. The cons? –87 health rating(wow). You would think with this restaurant in the news for health issues they would try to make a better show of it. –Line cook went out of his way to short you on guacamole whilst making sure you knew there would be an extra charge for it. Winterville easily doubled the guac amount. –Chicken was gristly and burned. –Big bag for the chips with hardly any in it. Moes kills Chipotle in this department… if I’m paying extra for chips then give me enough. –Line cook refused to pick just the grilled peppers(can’t eat onions) out. Said«I can’t do that.» Winterville location was able to «do that.» Won’t be back at this location… Restaurant came across as losing money and trying to make up for it by shorting on everything. Moe’s/Winterville Chipotle are superior.

Plenty of food, great helpful staff. Convenient for kids. The bathrooms were clean. This was our first experience in a chipotle and staff was super helpful. She was particularly patient with my 7 year old who was having trouble deciding what to eat. I love the buffet style build your own taco/bowl/masterpiece. I got the vegetarian option of mushed up tofu– with several toppings including the hot salsa which was good. The modern industrial décor was pleasing as well. We sat at table that was artistically designed with little stools. The kids thought this was wonderful as well.

We haven’t ordered yet but it’s not looking good so far. There are a bunch of people running around but nobody is really doing anything. One girl is fixing food. She’s the whole assembly line rather than doing one part and passing it down like it works at most Chipoltes. I think it’s because others are scrambling to cook more meat but poor preparation isn’t an excuse for bad customer service.

I love Chipotle’s food but this location is by far the worst Chipotle I have EVER been to. The very first time I went there they were out of guacamole. The second time they were out of chicken. The third time they were out of forks and lettuce. FORKS. How am I supposed to eat a burrito bowl without a fork? The most recent time I went they were out of corn salsa, medium salsa, grilled veggies and brown rice. This is absolutely inexcusable and just goes to show that poor management can completely ruin a location. Also the people that work there act like they completely hate their job when serving you. I will not be back.

Seemed clean, friendly staff… chicken still burnt and it ruins the whole taste of your meal. Oh and sanitation grade 92.5…ready for the second location to open.

Sweet cantina fare, always packed, but always yummy. Happy faces mostly behind the counter, modern and minimalist design which I like mostly because it promotes the clean atmosphere they mostly keep. They make it about the food and it shows. Love the prices and it’s great overall for a chain!

In the last 3 months I have eaten food that was catered from Chipotle. After the first time I would have given the beef and rice burrito a 1 star. It tasted very bland and just wasn’t appetizing at all. About three weeks ago it was again served at a catered lunch provided my my employer. I have to say my experience was much better the second time around. The beef and rice burrito was tasty. The sauce I used(don’t know the name) really added to the flavor(as it should). The salads are fresh. The portions are huge. I will try them again.

SUCH kind staff – our day is completely made! And the food is INCREDIBLE as it always is at Chipotle! My very favorite place to eat by far! Check it out Greenville!

Burrito was good for the first couple bites. Then you realize how bland and flavorless everything is. Couldn’t make it through the whole thing. In my opinion; Taco Bell is closer to mexican food than this place lol. Completely over exaggerated by people up here.

This is the worst Chipotle I have ever been too. Should have listened to other reviews. Only thing about our visit that was good was how friendly the staff was. Now for the bad stuff, the vegetables were not fresh as they should be. The tomatoes in the salsa looked like mush and the guacamole was turning brown from sitting around so long. When we went to get our drinks 4 of the dispensers were broken. Then as we ate our meal a lady walked around sweeping missing 99% of the trash on the floor. We will never visit this location again. Listen to reviews save your time and not go to this Chipotle. Also they didn’t have everything that every other Chipotle has.

Food was bland and soggy and the combinations didn’t make sense together. The place was inexplicably crowded. Tables are bolted down so you can’t move them together for large groups. It is below freezing in there. The bathrooms look like a prison. The soft drinks tasted like they had crushed up cardboard and rum in them. It is way too expensive. That is just what comes to mind off the top of my head.

Worst I’ve had in a while. Two table spoon fills of meat for an entire bowl. Inconvenient for large groups since you can’t move tables. The restaurant was freezing. Several dishes had burnt chicken. The bathrooms look as if they were designed for inmates. Never again. I’ll just go to Mario’s Tacos. I wish I could give a negative star.

The food is delicious as always and fresh. Just hate how impersonal and rude some employees are. I always fee rushed and unwelcomed when I go, but that won’t stop me from going. A smile wouldn’t hurt anyone.

Let me start by saying that the people behind the counter are all very nice, hardworking and would get five stars by themselves if that was what this review was about. Unfortunately this store is only getting one star due to the fact that I made a pre purchase online via the app so that I didn’t have to wait in line. I was on a schedule and only had a few minutes for lunch. I made the order and waited 20 min after placing the order to pick it up. The order hadn’t even been started when I arrived. I had to wait to ask about the order while other customers processed through. Only after inquiry was it then started. I ended up waiting an additional seven minutes for my food to be made after the people that were standing in line. It was slower than if I had just come in and waited in line without ordering from the app.(Total Failure) No time left for my lunch. So if your in a hurry don’t bother ordering online it does nothing but slow you down.

I don’t get the hype. It is fresh, it’s good, it’s priced ok. Once you’ve eaten there once, there isn’t really anything else to try.

I moved to Greenville last summer(July ’14). In my hometown Chipotles are very popular and all over the place, so needless to say I was disappointed when I found out there was originally no Chipotles in Greenville. Luckily they built this one soon and after and I have not been disappointed. The food is great and the workers are friendly. I personally think there is nothing better than a nice loaded up Barbacoa burrito, but my girlfriend and her friends tend to order either the rice bowl with carnitas or the tacos with either carnitas or Barbacoa. None of us have ever been disappointed. In a city with only 1 Chipotle, this one is a shining representation of the chain(believe me… I’ve been to some bad ones.)

I’m from Phoenix so chipotle is pretty much on every corner there. It’s the spot in AZ. I was so excited to hear that they had one in NC too bad it’s an hour away from where I live, but EvERyTHinG is a drive for me. Sucks! Anywho… So I came to Greenville not just for chipotle but it was a stop I had planned on. This place was pretty busy for NC but in AZ this would’ve been nothing. The wait was way too long in comparison. The checkout was slow the line was a lil sloppy and the serving size seemed to be less than what I’m used to AND chips were stale. :/ Everything seems to be in slow motion here so I guess it’s just something I have to get used to. If I’m in the area I will likely stop in since it still is one of my faves. Sofritas… Yum

This place is ok. I don’t get the hype. I was very excited when it opened up because I’ve heard so much about it. Here’s what I like: friendly staff. Lots of topping options. Everything looks very fresh. Great packaging for to go, which is what I mainly do. The salsas are SPICY, which I love. Here’s what I don’t like: the food is WAY too salty. I’ve tried the sofritas, the barbacoa and the chicken. All were extremely salty. I guess I could stick with a plain salad but that’s something I could get anywhere and wouldn’t necessarily need to make a trip to Chipotle. So if I were with a group of people and everyone else wanted to eat there, I could eat there without complaint but if I were alone, looking for lunch, I wouldn’t seek it out.

I have been here a few times and they still are not very consistent. The second time I went I ordered extra like and cilantro and it was no problem. The next time they looked and me like I was crazy and said they had no lime and didn’t know if I could have cilantro. So I went back today and ordered 3 steak tacos with rice and beans on the side and even ordered chips and salsa. The beans and rice tiny plastic cups were ¾ full and the salsa was also ¾ full. Not for sure why they are giving smaller portions on already a very small portion. I have eaten at Chipotles all across the country and this one has been the worst in customer service and portions. Hope they improve! We are rooting for you:)

Have you ever been to Chipotle? Did you love it? If you answered yes to one or both of those questions, then you are going to love this place. It’s just a Chipotle. Service is fine, very sanitary, very nice servers. If you’ve never been to Chipotle, you need to go, now, like seriously, run. It’s a build your own burrito bar, everything is pretty great, can’t really go wrong. But, not really a fan of their chips. No queso either.
