Lafayette Scientific Cleaners

This is the most expensive dry cleaner I’ve seen but they claim great service, and I’ve been using them for a while. I noticed the following:
1. They are completely inflexible about doing things in a day or two. It’s always next week.
2. When you have a problem, they are not helpful.
Example: I picked up a short wool, unlined jacket that I took in to have dry-​cleaned. It came back with some lint still scattered on it, front and back, and a couple of white dog hairs (that were one of the reasons I took it in). When I asked about the lint and the hair, they said they run a lint roller over it but if they have to do any more, there is an extra charge. They did not offer to touch it up or bring out a roller. (When I took it home, I got most of the lint off in one minute). The charge to dry-​clean the jacket: $ 18. No thanks.
I can get indifferent service and cleaning much more cheaply.
