I was sooooo excited when I discovered they have Leberwurst. I am German and I grew up eating the stuff on sandwiches. Sure it has a strong smell, but pop some mints and you’re good. The woman taking my order was very friendly and took the time to explain he menu, how to get my drink, and good places to sit. I sat outside(they had a couple tables put front) and enjoyed the lovely warm weather.

Went here while we stayed in Greenville. Kitschy place– inside and out. Great bagels and fast service. Quality place. They were flexible with the menu and very patient. Coffee wasn’t great, but the place felt homey. Comfort food for sure.

These are the Best Bagels I’ve ever had, and the best you can find south of the Mason Dixon Line. Ms. Greenfield is one of my favorite people on earth, and Greenfield’s is perfect for any occasion.

Walked in to green fields and loved all of the décor on the walls and knew right away I was getting a corned beef sandwich. I looked on Unilocal before I went in and it had a 1 $ sign. Honesty it should have 2 $ signs. The line was fairly long when I walked in so I knew that had to be a good thing. Ordered my food and got a corned beef sandwich that came with a tiny side and also got a small drink. My bill was 12 $. Now I would understand my sandwich being 8.00 $ if it was piled high with corned beef on some nice big pieces of rye bread but it was the exact opposite. My pickle straight up tasted like a cucumber. Potato salad was bland. Honestly I might be being too harsh on this place but I was truly disappointed

I promise you, the best lox I have ever had! Try the nova special, it’s defiantly worth the price and they do not skimp on the salmon staff was super friendly and helpful. I would come back everyday of my life if I could. I will probably end up burning myself out on it, it’s that good.

I have had this place bookmarked for months, finally went this morning, and I wasn’t disappointed! My girlfriend got the nova special and I got the Rachel on a cheese bagel with pastrami. Both were delicious! The service was great, everyone was friendly. You also really get your money’s worth of toppings/meat. I will be coming back. Many times!

Closest place to a true deli in Greenville that you’ll get. Like most people I come in for the bagels. They’re usually on the harder side and not as fluffy as bagels should be. But, they’re better than store bought bagels and get the job done for those who miss a good bagel. I occasionally go in for a pastrami sandwich. I always specify that it’s a «hot pastrami sandwich» because otherwise I’ll get it cold(not usual). Today my sandwich came out room temp, and they toasted the rye bread which makes me believe that the bread must have been hard. This sandwich should not have toasted bread, it’s not typical. This shop does have limited selections, and is relatively small. The beverages are scattered so you don’t really know what they have. This poses a challenge when you’re trying to decide what to drink so you can pay for your meal. The coffee and tea area is usually a mess with sugar scattered, and honey dripped on the bottle which causes your hands to end up sticky. On the bright side, they have rainbow cookies(score!) and interesting cream cheese spreads.

Check out the menu if you want to get an idea for how much you’re gonna spend. I just tried this place out for the first time and I have to say I had a good experience. Good selection of stuff to put on the bagels, as well as bagels themselves. I ended up picking up a 6 pack of bagels to take home which I finished within the week as they were so good. The pumpernickel and honey wheat ones are ONPOINT. My family ended up 4 different things, all good. Very tasty, would recommend. Small portion sizes though.

$ 31 for lunch? My boyfriend and I ordered two sandwiches, chips and drinks. I had the chicken salad sandwich. It had very little flavor and my boyfriend tried the two meat sandwich along with the macaroni salad. It tasted good but not sit with his tummy well. Also, they were all out of bagels… The bagel shop had NOBAGELS. I was not impressed. I had high hopes too.

I’m so mad at myself! I have lived down the street from this amazing place for 9 mths and this is my first time in! Shame on me! Cute little Deli style spot. Homemade bagels and sides! The women at the counter was so sweet. I told her it was my first time here and she told me about the bagels and you can make this with that and they have bread(not made in house) still fresh and yummy. Buuuuut! Go with a bagel! I am 5mths pregnant and I crave chicken salad like I inhale donuts. So I obviously went with the fresh in house made chicken salad on a fresh cheese bagel! It comes with LTO and a pickle, blk olive, green tomato on the side. They have many sides to pick from, but I just wanted a bag of chips. I get full pretty fast. The cheese bagel is so amazing and fresh! It’s almost more like a slice of bread. I’m drooling while I’m writing this. That’s how amazing it is. The pickle is pickled in house and it has a fresh herb taste that I can’t put my finger on. My taste buds are on mega point. Haha One again I’m so bumbed I didn’t stop in before and eat here or order togo! This is a must stop! Happy bageling!

Our family has been coming to Greenfield’s for decades. The service and food was always top-notch, but that has changed in recent years. When the owner is present things are fairly normal. However, when she isn’t in the store, the employees do not uphold the same quality values, nor are they as friendly. The bagel cooking consistency is not reliable anymore. More often than not, they are doughy and toasting them doesn’t fix the problem. Any special request(ie, double toasting) requires a return to the counter to actually get it right. Double toasting is necessary because they arent fully cooked. Also, my favorite bagel, the cinnamon/sugar, is not as good as it used to be. Normally, it is encrusted with chunks of the sugar mix baked on. Now you are lucky if the bagel has a few grains of sugar with only a slight glaze of cinnamon. It’s very disappointing. Today(Sunday 1⁄17 @ 1030) was the day that broke the camel’s back. A member of our group was standing at the counter waiting for them to re-toast a bagel because it wasn’t right the first time. Bagels were piling up coming out of the toaster and getting close to the edge. Lo and behold, one drops off and on to the floor. What did the employee do when he picked it up? Instead of doing the right thing and throwing it away, he placed onto a tray awaiting delivery to a customer. We couldn’t tell who it was going to, or else we would have told them. It us a shame that such a great place has slipped to the point that we walk away disappointed more often than satisfied. It hurts us to think that it’s time to move on to another bagel shop.

The staff here is awesome. My partner and I followed their recommendations and had a wonderful delicious experience. The meat is tastey and piled high, the bagels were fresh and soft and flavorful. I tried the sweet potato salad and was impressed. Next time I was told to try the Nova and they let my partner have a taste of jalapeño cream cheese(fabulous but with a kick).

Excellent place. Reminds me of the«real» bagel places in the northeast. One of my favorite places in Greenville!

Truly about as close to New York Jewish bagels as you will find in these parts. Pretty close to authentic. People are delightful too.

As a born and raised NYer, I have to say the bagels are incredible. Their system, however is disjointed and inefficient. Be ready to wait a LONG time for your order. The twisted sister bagel is a rare treat if they aren’t sold out.

I’m writing this review for my good friend Mike! The bagels were pretty good, although I got the feeling I hadn’t hit best offerings of the shop get. The lox was great! The«fresh fruit» was all canned though. I would definitely recommend this place for brunch, and then you can walk to a used bookstore just further down the way.

Oh what a glorious Sunday it was! You know the feeling, when you have that hankering for food from your«home land» and it seems that no matter how you try, nothing seems to hook you up on your fix that is so desperately needed… Greenfield’s got me my fix! Yes an ET Bagel, Lox with a schmear. I almost felt embarrassed to ask(make sure) that it came with capers. This was the real deal, not a wanna be imitation. They know what they are doing. Bagel was a great size, lox were out of this world smokey delicious and the perfect amount of cream cheese. And lets not forget the salty goodness of the capers. Try as I might there was no way I could finish the whole meal. I hated myself for not being able to finish. It was that amazing. Oh and lets not forget the deli pickle spear. Again it was the real deal, no imitations here! So you need your bagel and lox fix, hop in the car and get your butt to Greenfield’s, you will not be disappointed

Maybe they were just having a bad day… It’s been several months since I’ve been, but I’d have previously argued then that they were the best bagels around. I was so disappointed the other morning. The bagel was way smaller than I remembered, and there was barely any cream cheese on it. Definitely not worth the $ 3 she charges. It will most likely be awhile before I give it another go. Which is sad, because my little boy and I once loved going there as a treat for breakfast. I wish we had a Caviar & Bananas here in Greenville. Now there is a bagel!
