Amazing, caring rheumatologist. I spent years with Dr. Lawson thinking that exhausted and living in pain was just the way my life with RA was going to be. I transferred to Dr. Funariu earlier this year and my entire life has changed. What was 3 – 4 nights of curling up on the couch in pain has become hitting the gym and hiking. She gave me my life back. Instead of spending minutes with me, she’ll spend an hour or more. Her staff is incredibly nice and very efficient. Being in the GHS system is different from St. Francis as well. Every thing is integrated with all my other MD’s, when a medication or condition changes all my docs have the ability to access that information immediately. No more taking paperwork from office to office. My whole family is grateful to Dr. Funariu, I really think she may have saved my life.
