I just downloaded this app to write this review since I normally don’t get irritated enough to write them… until now. I normally love this place, and my son always has a great time there. Today, I did not appreciate the staff’s attitude. They actually made us feel uncomfortable by making us feel like we were intruding on their cleaning an hour and a half before closing. We ended up leaving 45-minutes before closing, and they unlocked the doors so we could leave. Really? They locked the doors so no other customers could come in even though they were supposed to be open for another 45-minutes after we left. I wonder what time they locked it prior to us leaving. Maybe they should change the closing time on their door and website next time.

Great energy zapper for kids. Looks like they got the Groupon criticisms worked out. They scanned my smart phone and gave me a receipt for a future visit. I think there is a new emphasis on safety. They now limit the number of kids on each inflatable. In the past it was pure madness. It teaches kids patience, I am all for that. Place is clean. They also have a section for adults to watch TV. I wish they would serve coffee.

Took my kid to meet a bunch of his friends there, which is really the way to go, because as another reviewer has pointed out, adults can’t get in the inflatables with their kids, so they’ll need some buddies to play with. That said, the place had lots of fun inflatables with enough variety that the kids seemed less interested in the cluster of arcade games in one corner of the building. The staff were all really friendly when I was there, and seemed to honestly enjoy playing with the kids. They seemed to enforce the rules in a way that was intended to keep the kids safe rather than just to be bossy. Also, there’s no time limit like at some other places… we stayed for over three hours! If you go with grown ups and can settle in at a table, the conversation and free wifi ought to keep you occupied for as long as your kids are having fun. We’ll definitely be back!

We love going here on rainy days to get my 2 year old’s energy out! My only issue is they expect you to print any coupons you have out. I came with my coupon on my phone(something I do fairly often and haven’t had any issues with) and they refused to honor it because it wasn’t printed. When I pointed out that no where on the fine print did it say I would have to have it printed to use it, they still refused to honor it. And when my daughter was hungry, I went to the snack bar to order us a few slices of pizza and they only had one old piece of pepperoni that the guy was about to throw out. When I asked for 3 or 4 new slices, he told me it would be at least 30 minutes. Try telling that to a hungry 2 year old. It was a very busy day and you would expect them to keep the snack bar fully stocked.

I took my boys(ages 8 and 3) to Monkey Joe’s today for the first time. First of all, I purchased four Groupon passes to come here. Groupon gave me ONE thing to print out for my purchase. I’ve used Groupon several times and had no problem with them, even at another bounce house place here in town. When we got here today, they informed me that I should have two separate Groupons printed out, one for each child. I told them repeatedly that I didn’t just purchase one. It didn’t matter. In order for my boys to play, I had to pay full price($ 9.95) for one of them, which I wasn’t expecting to have to pay. Then when we went to take off our shoes, there was nowhere to put our stuff. All the cubbies were full. For the size of this place, they don’t have anywhere near enough space for everybody to put their things. I will say that the place is clean, but as someone else already pointed out, it is new. Hopefully it will continue. The biggest disappointment to me(though it probably won’t matter to most parents) is that adults are not allowed on any of the inflatables unless they’re assisting a child age 4 or under. Adults can NOT bounce or otherwise use any of the inflatables here, which is why I am now stuck here, writing this review to stave off boredom. One of my favorite things about going to bounce house places with my boys is getting in all the inflatables and playing and bouncing right along with them. If you enjoy that, this isn’t the place for you. However, I will say that if sitting around doing nothing beyond napping and/or pecking away on your phone appeal to you, Monkey Joe’s is awesome. I just happen to be an adult who hates sitting still. I was allowed to stand in one inflatable to watch my 3-year-old play for a bit. You’d better not get caught bouncing. They’ll blow a whistle at you and tell you to get out and wait outside the inflatable for your child to come out. I give it three stars because my kids are having fun. They’ve both come to ask me why I won’t come play with them, and I had to tell them it’s not allowed here. Now I need to go stand up somewhere long enough for the numbness in my butt to go away.
