Calibers Indoor Gun Range

I have been a member for several years now. I would highly recommend taken anyone to Calibers the owners and staff have been helpful and willing to help out in any way. Great place.

Came here with my father and brothers one Sunday. This was my first time at the range and also, first time shooting a pistol. The place got packed quick. I mean, when we pulled in 10minutes before opening, it was only 3 others here. After going inside and waiting in line, the parking lot was full. My dad has a membership, so it was $ 10 for me because I came with a member. As a newbie, they make you watch an intro and safety PowerPoint that is set on repeat. I barely managed to sit and watch it. My ADD kicked in something terrible when folks were poking their head into the small room and standing outside the room conversing. After sitting through two rounds of the presentation, I went out, got a 9 mm S&W, headphones thingy, and joined my family. I wear glasses, so I didn’t need the safety glasses. I did buy an awesome zombie target. The targets were $ 1 each. Not bad at all. As I stood in my lane, I tried my best to recall what the hell I just read on the PowerPoint. I managed to remember most of the gun handling tips, but the kick was a beast. I asked one of the guys up front for help. I prefer the 1 on 1 to the video
In the end, the place was clean, everything in order. I wish there was someone there to present the PowerPoint instead of staring at a screen. Or at least the option to close the door. The staff was very patient and helpful. This place also offers concealed license classes for $ 100. There’s a total of 10 lanes, which will fill up quick on the weekend. There are restrictions on which guns and ammo you can bring, but I’m not certain what they are. They do have those restrictions posted up on the walls.

Place is good not great.
1. Personally I Think it should be 10 bucks to shoot not 15
2.its convenient for me because it’s so close to my house.
3. I wish they would allow the 500 S&W Magnum they only allow up to a 44 Magnum.
4. Should allow shotguns. Slugs only.
I do enjoy going but not all the time. It’s sometimes so busy you have to wait other times it’s quiet depends on what time of day you go. Service is great. I feel like it needs to be brought up to date. It feels outdated. If I or anyone else wants to shoot there shotguns indoors or a 500 S&W Magnum go to ProShots indoor Range & Training it’s in Rural Hall NC problem is it’s a 34 minute drive which is 32 miles so a little far to drive but I feel like it’s a better indoor range. I’m sorry Calibers. But I wish they would step up there game.

I brought the wife here try a small .380, the staff here was very helpful, patient and friendly. They have a wide selection of handguns to choose from. She was able to try a few in order to find something that fit her hand, and she would be comfortable shooting it. We had a great experience! Highly recomend!

This was my first time shooting and it was so awesome. The staff was extremely helpful and patient. I went with my friend who goes there regularly and they knew exactly what he wanted when we walked in. I will definitely be going again.

Caliber’s is a great place for both new and experienced shooters in the Triad area. I’ve been there quite a few times now and also completed their concealed carry permit course. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and experienced shooters and are just all around good people. I would recommend Caliber’s to anyone in the Triad looking to practice their shooting skills or to get into shooting for the first time.

This place is the best I went with a couple of friends and we had never fired a gun before, The red haired guy behind the counter was extremely helpful once he realized we were serious about learning the proper handling of a gun. He had us watch about 10 minutes of video and then took out tho the firing area and showed us to hold and properly shoot the guns we had rented, it was enjoyable day and we are thinking of taking the concealed carry class.

Great range, the classes are awesome. I recommend the CCW class even if you aren’t getting your CCW license, lots of good information on protecting yourself. Everyone there is friendly and helpful and they bend over backward to help people.

Phenomenal facility. Great customer service. Excellent equipment. Bright lanes. Always a winner when it comes to gun ranges. You can join as a member or go as a guest without purchasing any type of membership. All you need is a valid drivers license/​ID and some form of payment… First timers are required to watch a video. This type of place is hard to come by.
