Must be better food In town, we went skiing but the Berkshire brewery had a wait so we tried here. Had meatball grinder and streak was just ok but We had expired sodas. They need better quality control. Also the chicken was pretty bad on the ceased salad. My brother didn’t like his cheeseburger grinder either

We have been going here for many years. Pizza has been going downhill for quite some time and we don’t order it from her anymore. The chicken parm dinner has always been a favorite. Well today it has two little pieces of chicken about size of a chicken nugget! $ 15.95 for this dinner that is the size of a kids meal now is not okay. No more ordering from here and sorry to say wouldn’t recommend it anymore either.

This place is a solid local pizza and Greek food establishment. Stopped here after a nice day hike up the Undermountain Trail with the family and enjoyed a wonderful meal. With 3 teenage boys we had the luxury(need) to have a lot of food items brought to the table, and none of them disappointed. For starters the grape leaves were delicious, as were the fried zucchini sticks which were a special the day we were here. The star of the second was the marinara sauce, which was so good our boys wound up eating the residual sauce on its own once the sticks were gone. For dinner we had the fried chicken dinner(good, with a huge starter salad) a grilled chicken and vegetables dinner which was also good, and an order of chicken carbonara pasta which was the star of the dinner meals. I was blown away at the quality of the pasta and the overall taste of the dish. I wish I could have this every week. We also tried a Brothers pizza, which was good. It was not epic pizza. It was a solid B as far as pizza goes, but I have had far worse pie after a day of hiking so the piece I sampled went down just fine. Overall this place was nice. Friendly waitress, good food, and frankly I wish I lived closer so I could sample more of the dishes on the menu as the carbonara was an absolute superstar. If we are in the area again we will return!

I really like 4 brothers. Indeed the pizza is not a traditional ny thin crust or neopolitan style. It is New England style greek pizza– and a fine example at that. Inferior pies can be found at «pizza houses» thoughout NE. We love dining at four brothers for a plain cheese pie and greek salad! What makes a Greek pizza:

BF made the silly mistake of ordering the lobster ravioli here. Silly guy. Needless to say, the ravioli was not up to snuff for him and tasted of the frozen variety. I ordered the personal Four Brother’s pie. I thought the pizza was good but also of the frozen variety. The pizza was exactly like Pizza Hut’s Supreme pizza taste wise. Luckily, I like pizza hut and am not that big of a pizza snob. This is a no frill local pizza joint that reminds me of a diner– but they serve pizza and«Italian» food.

Great pizza. I was thinking this is a to go pizza place like the ones in NYC; instead this place has plenty to dine in and chat up. On a Saturday night, it is not crowded. I had a take out with the 18″ pizza which cost like $ 22 end up with 12 slices. It’s plenty for 4 adults and grab a wine. The pizza crust is a bit soft and I prefer the hard crust. Over all it’s fresh and do try the Hawaiian.

I have been going to Four Brothers in Great Barrington since I was a child. The salad dressing is the only item that has remained consistent. I have tried to go back for pizza since I have moved back to Barrington, but I am always disappointed. The last few times my son and I have ordered pizza, the center is raw, but yet the bottom is burned. Not sure what’s going on in the kitchen, but I will NEVER return to this restaurant. So sad. Gypsy Joynt it is from here on out!

I’ve been to Four Brothers Pizza & Restaurant a couple times now and LOVE the Greek salad! I’ve ordered with the shrimp both times and haven’t been disappointed. It’s simple décor, but comfortable. We’ve always gone for lunch and there was never a wait-in fact, there weren’t many people both times we went. All the vegetables in the salad are fresh and tasty. The salad dressing is very, very good! Definitely one of the top 5 best Greek salads I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many(from the east cost to the west).

For the price of the entire meal this place is entirely worth a visit. The menu is extensive and the daily specials and desserts are very good. My wife had the spinich raviolis special. They came as three huge rav’s smoothered in a tomato vodka sauce. She really like this dish and for only $ 13 it was a great value. The thing I like about this place the most is that it isn’t trying to be anything it’s not. If that makes sense. I didn’t see over inflated pricing on any part of the menu. They dont try to get away with big City prices with little plates of food. If you want that you should travel into Great Barrington center. Anyways back to the food. The fresh bread that came with the meal was light, fluffy, with a crispy crust. It must have been home made and If it wasn’t then I would like to be able to find it at my grocery store. It was very good. The Greek salad individual size is what I got. I had chicken put on top. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the Greek dressing as mentioned in numerous reviews here is out of this world delicious. I’m pretty sure the feta cheese is made in house from a farm the owners operate. It’s a must to order! The desert tray is large and has many different home made options. My wife had the red velvet cake and I got the mint chocolate chip cake. I still haven’t eaten it yet the next day. I’m sure it will be great as everything else we had here was. The only recommendation I would make is to update the inside décor. Everything is well maintained and clean, it’s just that it’s look is older and some newer colors for the booths, placemats, and carpeting would spruce things up a bit.

We went here on 11−10−13. I had the BBQ chicken pizza. And my friend had the Penne Ala Vodka with chicken. Which he considered to be a bit light on sauce but otherwise pretty good if not exceptional. My 10″ pizza had a pleasantly sweet/tangy sauce and a decent amount of chicken. And like the others here have said their pizza crust was burnt, mine too was slightly, but not unusually blackened. Perhaps they make brick-oven pizza here; I don’t know. Blackening is common in those ovens. The only negatives I would add was that our waitress wasn’t friendly. Not hostile, but certainly not friendly or even smiling. In her defense the restaurant was fairly busy at the time. And the restrooms were pretty small but adequately equipped. That’s it.

There are so many better restaurants in Great Barrington, but we wound up here because all of the aforementioned restaurants were booked solid. Everything from the pizza to the appetizers tasted like it came from the frozen food section of the supermarket. And the entire bottom part of the crust on my pizza was burnt. The best part of the meal was the salad. Cue sad face.

I would frequent here weekly for their salads until our recent dine in experience. The waitress during the day is VERY rude, until it comes time to pay the bill and leave her a tip. My boyfriend went to the bathroom to wash his hands prior to eating. When he came out, after the cook left the bathroom he went to the waitress and said there was no soap in the men’s room and asked if the cook washed his hands. The waitress got an immediate attitude and said she was sure he washed his hands in the back. We proceeded to order after that, all the while the cook and prep cook were giving us the evil eye. Our appetizers arrived and after cutting a fried ravioli in half I noticed a wad of hair deep fried into it! I was absolutely DISGUSTED! We called the waitress over and she seemed as if we were bothering her. We proceeded to get up and leave. I felt like this was done on purpose! this is so gross and I will NEVER go back here!

The pizza(«Grecian» style) is reminiscent of bowling alley/Chuck E. Cheese pizza, but my kids seem to love it. The sauce is actually pretty good. The real winner here, however, is the greek salad. Perfect balance of feta, dressing, and mildly spicy peppers. If you want good pizza in the GB, then Babalouie’s should be your destination. The greek salad is worth a visit.

So I’ve never had anything else from here except the pizza but the pizza here in my opinion is one of my top 5 favorites! I love getting my pizza from here because the crust is always not too thin, the sauce isn’t overly put on or liquidy and they pound the cheese and meat on like nobodies business! The sausage pizza is definitely my favorite here. Every time we come to visit family we go here for pizza and will continue to do so for years to come.

Never been a huge fan of the service or the food of the GB Four Brothers restaurant. If I want to eat off what is essentially the US Foodservice delivery truck’s menu, I’d much rather do it at the Four Brothers in Hillsdale NY. I have had a couple of bad experiences with their staff. This is the only place I think I’ve ever tipped zero percent. I usually tip 10% for horrible service. A few years back some friends and I were in there and were just not treated well. Won’t ever go back to that joke of a restaurant.

The reviews I read are mostly correct. Very good Greek salads and plain cheese pizza’s. Some of the best I have had in a long time. It is also correct that they don’t take AMEX and you have to leave tips in currency. One other item that seems to be missed is that they don’t offer free refills on soda. Otherwise a good experience if you know the rules going into the restaurant.

Four Brothers is something of a Berkshires/CT/NY institution. I went to school with some of the brothers’ sons. Good people. I wear a Four Brothers t-shirt from time to time, in a post-ironic way. The pizza is good, incidentally. And, naturally, they get four stars.

2.5 stars for the Location on rt 7 in Great Barrington. They have other locations as well. Quick service. Salad was ok Garlic bread was good Bad pizza. Cheese tasted strange. Beef gyro was awful. Beef was from a package of some kind. Can’t put tips on your credit card. Waitress was rushed. Won’t return.

One of the best places to go out for pizza in the Berkshires. I enjoy their salads, thick slices of pizza and of course, the bottled Greek salad dressing. My sister likes the dressing to dip her crust into. I think they do sandwiches and cal zones, but make the drive to Great Barrington for a sandwich when their pizza is so much better? Don’t be a fool; the leftovers are half the experience. Excellent for family. Not so much if you have screaming kids, as the service is on the slower side. Four Brothers cooks to order, so don’t be surprised if you spend two hours there in total waiting for the pizza to cook, enjoy a salad and of course, some great conversation with friends and loved ones. If you’re being bold, call ahead and bring the pizza to Tanglewood for a mid-summer picnic. Just remember to bring your own wine! Off Rt 7 in Great Barrington, the only thing bad about Four Brothers is the drive! Excellent pizza restaurant for catching up with friends or family.
