Homewood Suites – Grapevine

Nice hotel, nice clean room, but very noisy. Almost impossible to sleep with aircraft noise.

Grapevine Homewood Suites is a traditional Homewood. Here for 3 nites for an event at the nearby Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center owned by Marriott.
Convenient to DFW. I rented a car for local travel but you don’t need to and can use the complimentary Hotel Shuttle Van within 5 miles.
Suite, One and Two bedrooms available with kitchen. Two desks, sofa and lounge chair in living area. Missing reading lamp next to lounge chair (see pic). Windows open about 6 inches if you prop it up with something.
In the immediate area are also Hilton, Embassy Suites, SpringHill Suites, Residence Inn, and Hyatt Place.
Free Wi-​Fi. Daily log-​in required up to three devices.
Hot (limited) buffet breakfast is complimentary. In the evening, complimentary lite beer and wine offered 5:30 — 7:30 pm along with some simple dinner/​snack items. I’m not a beer snob, but Bud Light draught is truly an awful flavorless choice of beer if offered as the only choice.
Indoor fitness and pool. For outdoor pool, you can use Hyatt Place next door based on exchange privileges.

Asked for a ride to trader joes which was on limit of their shuttle route 5mi distance and both the desk clerk and driver refused to help me out very rude. Welcome to Texas!

Arrived after a 6 hour drive with my husband and stepson to check into our reserved King Studio with a pullout couch. We get to our room to find a suite. 2 rooms with king sized beds, a kitchenette, and living room. Husband goes back to make sure we didn’t book the wrong type of room. Nope, we’ve received a complimentary upgrade. Pair that with a helpful and friendly receptionist and the quickest hotel check in I have ever experienced and we are some happy campers!!!

Not up to Hilton standards at all. Rooms so small that it’s hard to have your suitcase open in the bedroom. No space between TV and bed, once you let the sleeper out in the living area, you can forget moving around in that room. Would never expect this from a Hilton property, will never stay here again. Feels more like a Quality Inn. Came back to room and the only way I figured out the room had been cleaned was because the bed was made up. Good crumbs were on floor. Just not a very good choice if you can avoid it.

I don’t know if they treat all their Diamond Member the way they treat me? But this by far had to be the worst customer service I’ve ever experience!!!
This Lady just asked for my credit card & gave me my keys??? I told myself I’m not going to make a big deal but when I went back down to get some more towels for my room. The same lady that help me, gave a customer the full rundown about the hotels amenities???
Now, I’m piss because this lady didn’t go out of her way to help me out & it’s not like they where busy!
I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

Spent 5 nights at this hotel. The staff were great except for one front desk lady who wouldn’t even crack a smile when we would see her. Anyway they provided a courtesy shuttle which was great. The food was ok nothing great kind of hospital food to me. My only real complaint was that the room had alot of dust in the corners which i have severe allergies so that didn’t help. I could tell the room is not vacuumed or cleaned that well we found a childs toy from a prior stay. I would consider giving the hotel another try in the future.

We spent 3 nights at the Homewood. Staff and facility were nice, no real complaints except… My wife and son went swimming on Thursday afternoon. The water was extremely cold (even for a 6 year old) and very, very dirty. My wife said she saw hair, band aids, etc in the pool. Yuk! Great location, no other real complaints. Would probably stay again.

This location is not up to par with what I expect from the Homewood Suites brand. Most important, the bed is not the normal Homewood Suites mattress and box spring. My wife and I woke up the next day feeling tired on our 8 hour drive. The bathroom/​shower was also more like a motel 6. Considering we paid $ 133 on this stay, I won’t be back. $ 50 room

Well, to my surprise Hilton Corporate must have read my comments to them and they gave us a 100% refund including the pet fee.
I am still not sure if we would ever return, but if we did maybe things might go better.
Upping the rating to 3 stars for the superb customer service in this matter.

Standard Homewood Suites, location is great since it is in the parking lot of the Grapevine Mills mall.
