We bought the JD mower they suggested over 15 years ago for 3 acres. Still works great, so glad I listened to their recommendation on what engine & size to buy. Very honest people, if you have something they can’t fix they’ll tell you so. Very reasonable on everything I’ve taken in for service through the years.

Horrible customer service. I walked in there to see if they could order a part for my weed eater and to see if they could tune up another, and before the door shut I was told that I couldn’t be helped, and there is a 4 week wait if I do want to be helped. Not a single «Hey how are you doing» or «can I help you». I walked out and will not return. Hopefully by never giving them my business or writing this review so others don’t make my mistake, it will help resolve their «I’m overwhelmed» rude attitude I encountered.

These folks are really nice and seem to know their stuff. When Hubby and I moved here a couple years ago, we found ourselves in the market for a small tractor since we upgraded to a lot larger than the ¹⁄₅ acre we had in SoCal. And Hubby NEEDED a John Deere! Whatever. So after finding the name of DFW Small Engines somewhere, we hitched up the team and went into town!
Anyway, we talked to the folks there about what we thought we needed and they helped us choose the right piece of equipment for our property. We bought the tractor that same day (on a Saturday noon-​ish) and they delivered it to our house a couple hours later. Great service! Now when the tractor is due for annual service, we call them up and they drive over and pick it up and then bring it back afterward. And the turnaround is good — usually a week or less depending on the time of year and how busy they are. Besides tractors of varying sizes, I also saw lawnmowers and other types of outdoor power equipment (I think maybe chippers and such). I kinda like going there since the folks are so friendly. Maybe I’ll let hubby buy some more toys!
