I visited this doctor after a girlfriend referred me to him for a minor skin irritation.
The office is close to DFW and it didn’t have all the fanfare of a regular dermatologists office… including adverts for botox, lip injections, laser facials and whatever the hell else most dermatologists are doing now a days. I guess there is no glory or money in removing moles anymore.
The staff was pleasant and the doctor came and and took care of business. He is straightforward and isn’t as «soft» as some others would like, but he’s a doctor, for God sakes, not a member of The View. He answered all my questions and made sure I understood what next steps were.
This is where the above and beyond comes in. He gave me 2 prescriptions. Obamacare has left us so morally bankrupt that when I went to the pharmacy to pick them up, even with crummy Aetna insurance, it was going to be $ 750 for both… Whoa!!! I called the docs office back and said that unless it was a facelift in a bottle I wasn’t paying that much for anything. They tried another pharmacy for me, one they thought would have a lower price and still no relief from the price gouging. After the second option failed they had a final option in mind. They sent the prescription to an online pharmacy they had some luck with in the past. Sure enough I was able to purchase one of the prescriptions $ 25. They didn’t have the other, but luckily, it wasn’t absolutely needed so I can live with this.
When you have folks that actually take an interest in your challenges I will always give them a 5 star rating. He and his staff went above and beyond and I appreciate that… A LOT!

This is by far one of the worst experiences at a doctors office. I went in for a general yearly skin check up and I had a few concerns. He acted as if my concerns were ridiculous. He was quite rude and exibited a real lack of a bedside manner. I had a concern about something on my face– turns out it WAS something after I had a biopsy done. I will not go to this doctor EVER again.
