2014 update. My oaks have grown a LOT since I first hired Arbor Masters. The price keeps going up. It was $ 350 bucks this year, but they probably removed 500 lbs of tree. They sent a 3-​man crew with a chipper (to recycle the trimmings as mulch).
I appreciate that they thoroughly clean-​up after they finish. Many of my neighbors have begun using them, and now their trees look almost as nice as mine. :)
Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I’ve used Arbor Masters twice now and I have to say — I’m pretty sure I’m a customer for life. The first time was for a tree removal, and the second time they trimmed several extremely large and neglected pecan trees at our new house. They may not be the cheapest in town, but they are so reliable! Both times they have driven out within 2 days of my request to give me an estimate. Both times, the estimate was e-​mailed to me within 24 hours and the work was scheduled and completed within a week. They even invoice via e-​mail! These guys are so convenient, friendly, and reliable — we will definitely use them again.
