This place was okay. Loved that they actually put alot of vegetables in their food. Most places skimp on that. The part that was unpleasant was the blandness of the food. The sweet and sour chicken sauce was way to watery.

I just ordered a couple of items to go and they were very good. Potstickers and wonton soup. Good lunch spot for takeout

this is my favorite restaurant. best chinese food ive ever had, nowhere in LA is close. I try to get back up here once a year, and when I do this place is a must stop. I recommend the Dinner for 3. the best dishes are the potsickers(best ive ever had), won ton soup, twice cooked pork(my favorite), combo chow mein, and the burma beef. you cant go wrong with this place tho, seriously if you live in the area and havent been you are missing out on the best chinese food of your life.

Very disappointing experience tonight. They were out of everything vegetarian except broccoli and zucchini. The food we ended up with was bland and pretty tasteless so I am guessing they were out of spices too. I won’t be going back.

My family and I have been coming here for almost 8 years and we have never once had a negative experience with the food or the service here. This is the«hidden gem» of Granite Bay Restaurants. If you want truly authentic Chinese food– this is your place. The sizzling rice soup and pot stickers are their greatest starters and I highly recommend both.

We’ve been customers there for over 10 years and have always been pleased with the quality of food. Its a bit of a no frills restaurant but the consistency and taste has always been great. Those chicken wings always hit the spot(well those are my husband’s favorite). Lunch plates are a real bargain and you won’t go away hungry. Just ordered take out from them so gotta go…

A friend of mine raves about this place as the best Chinese food in the area so I was pretty excited. The menu is massive and seems to have every Chinese-American entrée you could think. There were no chef specialties on the menu and when I asked the server I was told the specialty is everything. Based off the Unilocal reviews I ordered Burma Beef and Potstickers. The Burma Beef is strips of beef breaded with green peppers in a sweet sauce. I was told the dish was spicy. I got no heat. The potstickers were very doughy and were tasty. The serving size was pretty massive so your dollar goes far. Overall, no better or worse than most mom and pops.

Im a bit of a chinese enthusiast, and tsing tao rates quite highly in my book for this area. I havent tried many of their more«traditional» menu choices, but their more«americanized» menu items are always hot, fresh, and loaded with veggies. I would suggest any of the meins, kung pao chicken, and moo shoo(?) pork

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants around! However the food is not always fresh. But when it is, it will be one of the best Chinese dishes you have had. Have been going here for many years and will continue to do so!

Burma Beef is absolutely amazing and the vegetable chow mien is a great! I’m just not too fond of the peppers that come with the Burma Beef but you can ask to have it without those.

This place has stayed open forever for a reason. Consistently reliable good food at great prices. Not a date restaurant. No particular ambience. Just come hungry, leave satisfied.

Tsing Tao is a nice little local restaurant. It’s busy food came quickly. Staff was very good and very accommodating. Not over salted or seasoned. The one issue is that they only gave sodas to drink other than water. Would like lemon aid for children. They liked the pot stickers, chicken fried rice and mu shu pork. I’d go back or pick up

I don’t know what these idiots with one star are talking about. I’ve been coming here for 20 years and this place has consistently delicious Chinese food. Maybe you ordered the wrong thing? I do agree that the service could be better but Sam, the owner and chef is the nicest guy. Try egg foo young, Burma beef or chicken, sesame chicken, broccoli beef, sweet and sour chicken, string bean chicken, POTSTICKERS, hot and sour soup, mushu pork…

I went here because of all the good Unilocal reviews I felt like I took advice from my 84-year-old mother on good Chinese food this food is garbage if you like it you’re stupid The chicken was dry the beef was dry and overcooked everything tasted exactly the same I couldn’t tell the difference between my noodle dish in my meat dishes

Hands-down the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever eaten at(and I have tried quite a few!). Sammy and the other staff are friendly and inviting, and the food is amazing. You must try the Burma chicken — it’s the best Chinese dish I’ve ever had and Tsing Tao’s consistency can’t be beat… the crispiness of the batter and the quality of the chicken is perfect every time… it’s uncanny. Also, their hot mustard will melt your face off, so it’s perfect with their egg rolls. If you’re going for dinner, the Burma beef is also an excellent dish(it’s not offered on the lunch special).

We got take-out from here on a Thursday night. There’s no menu online, so we forced to kind of guess at what they had and use a third-party site that had contents of their menu posted. We ended up ordering Hot & Sour Soup. General’s Chicken, Burma Beef and BBQ Pork Fried Rice. Overall, the food was really good! The General’s Chicken was bland and I probably wouldn’t order it again, unless I specified extra spicy, but honestly, I’d probably skip it. The Burma Beef was amazing! The soup was also really good — not as spicy as I’d like, but it lacked the disgusting layer of oil that a lot of Hot & Sour Soup has, so that was good! The rice was good as well. We got a take out menu and I definitely look forward to ordering more now that we have an actual menu. Over all, I found this Chinese food to be a pleasant surprise — the usual greasiness that generally keeps me from ordering Chinese was not present and the food tasted fresh and well prepared. I would def recommend!
