This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I had the chicken and rice soup and it was great. Their menu is varied and I haven’t had anything bad.

Truly a great experience. The food was amazing, and I mean some of the best food that I have had since my grandma used to make me Mexican food. The bean dip with the home made tortilla chips is to die for and the mole was on point. My husband had the chicken burrito and he had a hard time eating the whole thing it was so big but also didn’t want to stop it was so good. This place is good priced and has excellent service. Hands down the best Mexican food in the granite bay area.

This used to be my favorite mex spot when it was in Natomas. I was quite sad when it closed. I just recently found out it moved. I was so happy.
It’s still quite good even though they unfortunately cater to a different crowd over here.
Gice it a go and ask for hot sauce or things spicy if you do want it alla gringo.

Was on my way home from Kaiser Roseville and needed to stop somewhere and pick up dinner for myself. Was gonna do a fast food burger when I remembered Pollo de Oro. Had dinner here once and was very glad I thought of stopping here instead of having a burger.
I had the Chile Colorado to go. It was delicious, leaning towards spicy which is how I like it. The portions are generous and they include chips and salsa with their to go orders.
The service is friendly and attentive. This is a must try if you enjoy authentic Mexican food!!!

Finally tried this cute Mexican restaurant tucked in a corner of a Granite Bay strip center. Promptly greeted by a nice female server. Big menu. Switched servers to a very friendly and attentive male server. Made recommendations.
Ordered bean dip – texture good. Needed more flavor
Ceviche – all shrimp. Fresh. Needs hot sauce. Nice avocado on top
Fajita combo. Famous pollo d’oro chicken n steak.
Nice veggies. Peppers. Onions. Zucchini. Flour tortillas. Came sizzling. It was good. Steak was just ok.
Flour tortillas were average size.
Chips n salsa. Hot and mild sauces. Preferred the more fresh with diced tomatoes and onions.
Beers chilled.
Would give it another try for tacos or burritos.
Service staff did a good job.
