Super 8 Grand Island

Everything I could have hoped for for the price. The room was clean, the staff was extremely polite and helpful, and the breakfast was a step above what is usually available. I definitely recommend this place for anyone stopping through!

This place is horrible. We stayed there on a Saturday night for a volleyball tournament. We went to the bar at the Holiday Inn across the parking lot and came back around midnight. Staff followed us up to our room and told us to be quiet of we will be kicked out. We said okay sorry and shut the door. Not even 2 minutes later I walk out of the room and 2 staff were just standing along the wall by our door. I said Yes? and they said is this your room? I said No I am going over to mine right now. They said okay good because they are getting kicked out. They didn’t even leave after they told us we had to be quiet, just sat outside our room and waited. I went to my room to tell the people in there that our friends were getting kicked out. I opened my door back up, maybe 3 minutes later, and cops were already there! The cops kicked out my friends, watched them pack their bags, and made them walk to another hotel in freezing temperatures to get another room. This place is the worst hotel I have ever been at. Rudest staff I have ever seen. They allege there were 7 complaints in 2 minutes when we weren’t even back 2 minutes before the rude staff followed us to our room. Not to mention, their breakfast is laughable. What a crock. I wish I could give this place negative stars.

This place was terrible! I was watching tv with my girlfriend and the front office staff said the tv was too loud. The staff threaten to kick us out immediately if the tv could not be lowered. No warning and the staff was very rude! I travel a lot and stayed in many super 8’s but this was the worst experience ever. Will stay at holiday inn or comfort inn way before this specific location. This place has a lot to learn from other competition. Not recommended.

Definitely recommend. Great value. Inexpensive price, very clean room, breakfast worked for me. Efficient check-​in, check-​out. Can hear the noise out in the hall, but not the rooms next door. Staff is friendly, competent. Bed was comfortable. Pool is large if you have kids, they’d have lots of fun.

Friendly front desk. Our request for a first floor room was granted. We got a pool side room which was somewhat noisy during the evening (no surprise). Room was average. Large screen tv. Very small alcove for sink — no towel bar. There was a mini fridge. Not a big selection for breakfast but adequate.
